This restaurant is inside the Marriott. Parking is across the street or valet parking at the hotel. We ate here twice once for breakfast once for dinner. The food both times was very good. Breakfast service was very slow, dinner service was very friendly and helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing. There's a nice fireplace outside the window where we were sitting, if you're looking for a good meal, I would highly recommend the salmon for dinner or the egg white frittata for breakfast.

Absolutely loved this lounge! I stayed at the Marina Del Rey Marriott in early March for a business trip and had dinner here with my coworker and friend on our last night. We ate at the bar and had a great time chatting with some other folks that were sitting there and as well as the bartenders who served us. The service was top notch as well as the food. What we ordered to share: Charcuterie board -- assorted cheeses, bread, strawberries and a fig spread Garlic Prawn Tagliatelle- delicious pasta with garlic prawns, parmesan cheese & evvo Salmon Bowl with asparagus, black rice in a sesame ginger miso sauce - this was the star of the show. Our new friend sitting next to us recommended it and said that she had been here for three nights and had gotten it each night. We both loved it - it was so delicious . One of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. I wish I could have it again and I most certainly will if it's still on the menu if I ever go back! Highly recommend. Heirloom tomatoes with burrata cheese and arugula with balsamic drizzle - another stellar dish, I love heirloom tomatoes and burrata cheese is always amazing! Great combo with the arugula and drizzle. I really enjoyed our dinner and the service. By the end of the meal the 2 bartenders called us by name and were inspired by what we ordered to get it themselves when it was time for them to eat their own dinner! This lounge along with the hotel Is great, treats their customers well and is on my list of places I want to return too.

Cobb salad

Lovely restaurant inside of the Marriott. First night- We ordered the salmon with forbidden rice, along with sautéed mushrooms, spinach and fresh asparagus. We also had the Cobb salad. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted fantastic. ---- Second night- We ordered the fish and chips along with a market salad to split three ways. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting with a nice presentation. Look forward to another dining experience here in the future!

Bland and unimpressive

The lounge is definitely a romantic place to have lunch or dinner, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We had the seared hamachi and the ceviche, and both were incredibly underwhelming. The amount of ceviche you get for $12 is very small, and it includes cucumber pieces, halved cherry tomatos, and pieces of fish. Taste-wise, it's lemony/limey but still bland. The seared hamachi was bland as well, and I know you can't expect sashimi to be flavorful, but it seemed their cut of fish just wasn't up to par. Overall, the experience was pretty disappointing, but at least it's free 2 hours parking with validation?

Awesome with some draw backs Let's get into this. The place is fantastic with a great view. Open and serving drinks and food on top of the hotel one cold not ask for better or so we thought. It's by no means a deal braked but must be noted. Happy hour is more like how can we still up charge drinks hour. The only complaint is that the happy hour prices are a joke being only about 3 bucks less then the premium drinks of food. Aside from that the place is clean and well lite. The staff is fantastic calling you by name and always right there when you need something. If I owned a business like this they are the guys I want for my staff. Very respectfully, and friendly, as well as attentive. I would definitely come back if nothing else to be waited on by their staff. All said and done it was a great experience for a roof top bar. Come check it out and I definitely do recommend it! One more thing to note:::: they made our night with a free drink for our anniversary thank you so much!

Sometimes good service; night service nicer; sometimes not so much. Don't piss off the manager; rude at moments. Food is ok.

Excellent customer service, a variety of delicious dishes and an inviting atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience! 2 Orders of Crispy Rock Shrimp | Shared | This dish was a vibe, and one of my favorites! Plentiful, memorable flavorful & you can't just eat one... You'll keep craving more, which we all did! I highly recommend! Miso Maple Salad | Shared | I selected this salad, it was unique, has quite the bite to it, and I enjoyed it! I would order again! Includes crispy, quinoa, heart of palm, jicama, avocado, snow peas, gem lettuce, and miso maple! Garlic Butter Noodles | Shared | What a favorable combo! I would easily order again! Passion Fruit Mousse | Shared | I took a bite, which was yummy! If an island had a flavor, I feel this would be it! Haha! 2 Orders of Spicy Tuna & Salmon Avocado Roll | Shared | Yum! Both were delicious & The spicy tuna roll was my niece's favorite dish! Sharing is Caring | Shareable plates were my idea, as there were five of us! Why not sample the menu in all of its glory, as well as order a little something, each of us like?! After all, it was my first time dining here! Though all of us enjoyed the shrimp, one bowl of the shrimp was definitely enough for all of us! We didn't know the portion would be so huge! Family Affair | It was exciting having family in town to visit & I selected this restaurant for lunch! I knew that they appreciated places that were aesthetic, as well as had great food! Belles Beach House served Island Glam & memorable bites! There She Glows | She naturally glows, once you step inside, the lighting is so nice! It's such a beautiful place! A extra large seashell, as well as larger than life, wooden carved tiki figures, front and center greet you at the door... full-on Island vibe! I love the decor; wicker lamps, plush seating, including a few long tables, which are great for groups! Customer Service | Everyone that arrived at our table was super friendly, attentive easily, service with a smile, even though the place was super busy! While I couldn't remember everyone's name, Ryan's name was on the receipt as the server! Thanks again to everyone! Reservations Please | She's very popular! I highly recommend making reservations, unless you want to wait! If you have to wait, at least you're at the beach, walk around, look inside the shops, & maybe even put your feet in the sand! I had booked online with my card, which they request ahead of time! Los Angeles Food & Wine Event | I first tried flavorful dishes from Belles Beach House, while attending this event, solo! I enjoyed the samples and knew I would eventually dine at the restaurant! Friday Night Vibe | As part of our spontaneous girls night out, we stopped by for a bit and this place was packed! Good vibes all around and the atmosphere gets me every time, it's such a beautiful sight, very pretty place! I even saw the extended part of the restaurant that I had not seen before; the wraparound bar and more tables! Overall | She's beautiful, not only naturally glows, but forever memorable! She's Belles Beach House! Each dish arriving at our table was presented in a beautiful way, flavor upon flavor with every bite, and the atmosphere was very inviting, including excellent customer service!

When we arrived, the entrance was constantly blocked by the hostess and security chatting. One staff member told me to head to the bar to order, but security then acted like I was doing something wrong. A little communication between staff would go a long way. At the bar, I was skipped twice while waiting to order. When I pointed it out, the bartender told me to "hold on" while assisting a 3rd walk up after me. I asked if we could move to an open table with table service as there were many empty for ghe hour we had already been there and was told no because they were too busy. Fair enough, but that's exactly when management should be visible, coordinating staff and helping guests. Instead, when I spoke with a manager, the response was essentially that he was focused on the bar area. Good management oversees the entire operation, especially during peak periods. I was one of 5 people in our party who spent around $100 on food and drinks (apx $500 spent in total), yet the service was a mess. If it's self-service, that's fine...but make it clear and make it work. Instead, I was skipped at the bar while ordering, staff gave conflicting directions, and there was virtually no support once we had our food. We found ourselves constantly going back and forth to the bar for drinks, utensils, soy sauce, and anything else we needed. No one checked in, and getting help from staff or management was nearly impossible. The food was decent, but the customer experience wasn't. Venice Beach is always busy. This shouldn't come as a surprise. If you're going to market yourself as part of that vibrant community, you need the operational standards to match.

The speakeasy is unique and even serves full menu of great food! Aesthetic & Ambiance: 9.5/10 - it was very prohibition themed and the menus being price/luggage tags was very fun. Came on a saturday night at 6:30 reservation and it was very quiet with us being the only table most of the evening. The outside restaurant has live bands which can be a little loud. Service: 100/10 - Markley was the bartender and the only one who operates the speakeasy, she's not only the best bartender Ive had custom drinks from, but she also makes each individual product herself. She explained every part of the drinks and ingredients, and even offered to make any kind of drink we'd want if there was nothing on her menu. Drinks: 10/10 - if you like cocktail bars this is it...EVERY drink was a unique in flavor and handcrafted by Markley from steep to serve. house-infused liquors and tinctures- ONE OF A KIND BAR Food: 8.5/10 - all around great some dishes better than others Bread & Butter - 9/10 great toasted sourdough with a garlic butter and the butter was perfect salty-addition. Calamari - 7/10 a little too breaded for my liking with the rings and tentacles being a little dry. Deviled eggs: 7.5/10 interesting they were fried, but had great flavor all over Mongolian Beef: 8/10 very good flavor, and rice was tasty, but the sauce was a little salty. Cajun chicken pasta: 9.5/10 chicken was tender, pasta was cooked perfectly, sauce was delicious, and the sausage was a great addition. I'd easily drive an hour from LA again to come here!

The view is amazing and the roof feels like a little oasis - if you couldn't see all of Venice from the top, you'd think you were in the French Riviera at a beach club. The staff were so sweet, and our waitress was amazing. We loved chatting with her! Here is what we ordered: - spanakopita quesadilla - so good! I didn't love the sauce on the side, but I didn't think it needed it. - fried zucchini chips - delicious! The whipped feta on the side was sooo good and I loved how light but flavorful these were. - crispy halloumi - probably my favorite dish of the night! The tomato with the crispy cheese was soooo good. Would definitely get this again!! I ordered the elderflower peach spritz first, and then the sage by the bell. Both were absolutely delicious in their own ways! The spritz was much more sugary, and the sage by the bell was very different and mezcal-forward. I loved it! I also loved being able to valet park - it ended up being cheaper than where our friends parked a few blocks away! And the hotel staff were kind enough to charge our electric car for us while we were there. It was such a pleasant surprise to come back to. Getting to the roof is a little annoying, as you have to wait for an elevator and line up outside. But it really isn't a big deal, and the rest of the experience makes up for it for sure. We sat at a high table by the window and the kind young bartender took our drink and food orders. We had arrived in time for happy hour, so we chose the charcuterie board and two orders of the salmon sliders, both reasonably priced at $9.50 each. The sliders were spicy and delicious. The charcuterie board was not as impressive. It didn't seem particularly fresh; the grapes especially were a bit wrinkly and sad. We could also have done with a few more pieces of toast to go with the pieces of smoked Gouda and Brie, and the couple slices of salami and prosciutto. There were also a few dates and dried apricots on the board. Well, whatta ya want for $9.50 in L.A., I guess...
