This is more a 3.5 star rating but I rounded it up. It's an interesting concept of Korean style food with a Chinese interpretation. Though I'm not sure if it's suppose to be representative of the area of china that borders Korea. At any rate the staff were nice and the place is new and nicely decorated. The food portions were fair for the pricing and it's a good balance of protein with vegetables. My favorite was the bimbimap as the crunchy rice was plentiful. I was a little bit torn though cause I'm not sure if it's satisfied my want for Chinese food versus my want for Korean food. If I want Korean food then I'll get straight Korean food. I'm not sure if this restaurant really has a place for my cravings.

The mains were very flavorful and memorable. Service was attentive and nice. It was a bit loud to have a conversation. Otherwise ambiance was diner-fast casual - great for a quick meal. Beef stew bibimbap was so good. Beef was tender and well composted alongside potato, egg and some blanched bokchoi. Tofu stew, with egg lovely dish. Topped with scallions and a side of rice. We didn't enjoy the cuts of chicken in the Korean style chicken. It was a bit gelatinous. Nice new addition to the area but will probably stick to entrees in the future.

NamPo 南浦拌飯 is a restaurant chain from China that specializes in stone pot rice bowls -- Korean bibimbap with a Chinese take. We waited on a late weekend afternoon for about 7 minutes before being seated. It was slightly annoying that others who arrived later were seated before us, but that may have been due to the restaurant's table configurations. We ordered two rice bowls for our first visit: - Spicy Crayfish Stone Pot Bibimbap 麻辣小龍蝦石鍋拌飯: $15; $16.33 with tax. The mala spice, though mild, seemed to overpower the gojuchang sauce in the dish. This dish was a second choice, as the restaurant ran out of Taiwanese Three-Cup Chicken. - Grilled Beef Stone Pot Bibimbap 烤牛肉石鍋拌飯: $16; $17.42 with tax. The beef was overly chewy. We received seaweed soup and a small dish of kimchi with our rice bowls. Both rice bowls had a high ratio of rice crust (鍋巴) compared to actual rice. Service is primarily in Mandarin, though some staff did speak English.

We saw that this place opened recently, replacing MeetFresh that was previously there. We went at 7:30 PM on Saturday as a party of 5 and we had to wait about 30-40 minutes. They did try their best to seat people as soon as possible. As soon as we got seated, they got us mini plates, a spoon and a pair chopsticks. Then, we were asked if we wanted water and if we wanted it warm or cold. They have a good variety on their menu and we did enjoy most of everything we got. I would come back to try other items on their menu next time. The service was pretty good despite it being very busy.

Dine In Only Menu; no take out offered as of yet- 3/19/25

Finally had a chance to try out this new restaurant. We went at 2:30p and there wasn't much of a wait time. Currently they're not offering take outs unless you dine-in. They might start offering that option next month. Food: The grilled beef bibimbap was okay. It was a little bland. Didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. As for the cheese corn, corn was not sweet. Corn was on the drier side. It was cheesy. As for the Korean Style Fatty Beef Ramen, it is spicy, and on the saltier side. Portion was huge. French fries were extremely oily. Popcorn chicken was fried perfectly. Moist inside and not dry or oily. Ambience: Bright and clean Customer Service: Some waitresses had a hard time understanding English. They spoke Mandarin which I don't. The two waiters were extremely nice, patient, pleasant, and respectful. Overall experience: I would come back to try other dishes. Tip: Do not come during prime lunch/dinner time, wait time could be up to 45 minutes.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

The spiciest, numbing dish we got was probably the spicy hot pot. The vegetables were delicious, like the water spinach, pea shoots, and garlic smashed cucumbers. The sour fish soup wasn't overly acidic like other places. Portions are large and great for sharing family style. A dish that I haven't seen at other restaurants is salted egg yolk tofu. It was very good here.

The pork with garlic sauce was absolutely delicious. This one isn't spicy so it didn't numb the mouth. The mapo tofu was also delicious and a little spicier but still not numbing the mouth. Def better to have it with rice though. The green pepper fish was mouth numbing and honestly I couldn't taste much of the flavor because the combination of spice and the hot temperature of the food was overbearing for me. So if you're like me and can tolerate some spicy but not numbing spicy then I would recommend telling them less spicy. Portions were perfect for 5 people (3 males and 2 females) as we ordered 2 of the pork with garlic sauce, 2 mapo tofus, and 1 big green pepper fish dish. We went on a Saturday at 5:30pm so it wasn't too crowded. Overall delicious and the staff were all friendly and very attentive in filling up our water for our spicy meal. (mapo tofu not shown as we were too hungry)

I decided to try the bourbon chicken with plain fried rice and I was very pleased with my order. The chicken was seasoned just right and tasted amazing. Lunchtime came around so I heated the rest of food for my lunch and the food tasted just as good as it did the previous day. The restaurant's decor wasn't anything spectacular, just plain and simple. I like to look around the restaurant if possible to check out the cleanliness of the business overall. It seemed to be very clean to me......in my opinion. However, the real negative here is the operations. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining. Tables are sitting empty while people are on the waitlist (not due to reservations), orders are going to the wrong tables, to-go orders are in disarray and have to be re-verified on multiple orders, and it takes a long time to get some water. The Yelp waitlist is useless here - wait was supposed to be 5-10 minutes and it turned into almost 40. All this could have been avoided with more planning, better organization, and training.
