This place is a scam. Do not bring any clothes you care about to Nam. I brought two bridesmaid dresses to be altered. After waiting the 2.5 weeks for them to be done, I went to pick up, he claimed he had been sick and couldn't finish them and needed more time. I gave him the benefit of the doubt- went back later that week to pick up. Picked them up came home and NO alternations were done on one dress. I brought the dress back he said he would fix it in a few days time, when I returned to pick it up, he was all confused and said it wasn't done, asked me to come back the next morning. When I did- HE WAS CLOSED. I just went to pick it up this morning. Picked it up brought it home.. still not altered!! Never mind he has you pay Before the service, so now I have to dispute 230.00 with my credit card company. Nam is a bad business man, and frankly scamming people out of hundreds of dollars without finishing his service. Do not go- stay clear. When I was there I also heard someone else on the phone asking where their suit was. Stay far away from Nam! read more

Very disappointed by my experience here. I needed a bridesmaid dress takin in at the bottom and the straps tightened at the top. He did the measurements and then I told him the date I needed It by (mind you it was 4 weeks out). He started yelling at me saying I should have told him I needed it so soon and he would have never done the measurements had he known. So I said you need more then 4 weeks? He said "oh I thought you said next week". Then to top it off he apologizes to the lady BEHIND Me for being rude but not to me! Absurd. At that point I said fine whatever and paid the way overpriced charge for the alterations. He gave me a pick up date, I went a week past that date to pick up the dress and there is my dress not even started to be worked on. I got it a week before the wedding was and he did hem the bottom well but never took in the back straps. I will never return here due to the inflated prices and very bad customer service. read more

He worked for an Italian design house and Louis of Boston before opening his own shop, though you would never know by his humility. My boyfriend took his suite here. They charged him $119 for a full tailoring, which was definitely steep, but the fit was good. The suite was supposed to be done on Thursday and we came to pick it up on Friday morning and it was not done. He finished it within the hour though. read more

Desperately needed a formal (Mother of the Groom) dress hemmed - both lining and taffeta skirt. Nam the Tailor could not have been more hospitable, competent or accommodating. It cost $45 but it was tailored on time and perfectly. He even steamed the wrinkles out of it and returned it in a plastic protective sleeve. Could not be more pleased. I came in on a Saturday at 11am needed an alteration on a suit jacket to be picked up the following Tuesday. Nam originally said Thursday, but since my interview was Wednesday, he gladly oblidged. I really appreciated that. There truly is nothing like a tailored suit, and Nam is extremely skilled. The suit was barely recognizable and fit beautifully. Nam is an absolute miracle worker. My husband and I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars getting everything from buttons and zippers fixed, to complete suits individually tailored. My husband even had shirts hand made and they were worth every penny. The quality is high end. Nam is a master at this art. He can actually make a women's suit look like a women is wearing it by tailoring it to your figure and measurements (as opposed to other tailors who would just hem the pants and arms and send you on your way). The prices are similar to other tailors, maybe a bit higher, but the quality is worth every penny! We've referred friends to nam and each one was completely satisfied and amazed by the work. I didn't think their were tailors that individualized tailoring until we met nam and I had been to other tailors in the past. I will not go to anyone but nam. He is very trustworthy. Go ahead treat yourself to a suit on sale at the mall then take it to nam to work his magic, that's what we do. I brought in a silk, lined bridesmaid dress that was about two sizes too large. Nam took in the entire dress, including both side seams and the length. The new hems are beautiful and you can't even tell the dress has been altered. The only issue was that when I sat down in the altered dress, a bit of the lining peeked out at the hem. I showed this to Nam and he fixed it immediately in 5 minutes. Thank you, Nam! I will definitely be getting my tailoring done here from now on. read more
