Four stars because I found a long black hair in my lamb biriyani. Chicken tikka masala mild is fantastic but too mild for my taste, next time medium spicy. Gaelic naan was great, not the best I've had but pretty good and a must have to accompany. Lamb biriyani: absolutely great! Not the best, but close to it. The accompanying raita was near perfect, if a bit too runny. Overall 8/10. Would have been a 9/10 if I'd not discovered a LONG black hair in the biriyani. When we rolled up to Namaste the place looked deserted, lol. In the past, I thought if a restaurant isn't crowded the food cant be good, but I've been wrong. So, I decided not to be judgmental, and give the place a try. I'm so glad I did because this is NOW my new favorite Indian/Nepalese restaurant. It's close to home, reasonably priced, servers were attentive and the food was beyond amazing! We started with the chicken dumpling (similar to potstickers) it came with a curry sauce that was really nice and not hot at all. Despite the attentiveness of the wait staff, service was a bid slow, even though the restaurant was practically empty. My partner asked did they have to catch the chicken for the potstickers, hahahaha. I think the delay in receiving our meals was because the food is homemade and freshly prepared? The portions are also big too! They gave us so many potstickers, I was somewhat full, even after sharing with my partner. For our main dishes, we ordered the curry goat and Iamb korma. I was apprehensive about fruit and lamb in a cashew nut base sauce, because I'm a butter chicken/chicken tikka masala type of lady, but when I tell you that lamb Korma was the best thing I've eaten in a long time....I'm not kidding. It was heavenly. We also ordered the garlic Naan with our main dishes, which is a must try! It was light, warm, buttery and garlicky and its made from scratch. It was so delicious we requested a second order. My partners curry goat had a really nice flavor, but it was a bit too chewy for my taste, he liked it though. For dessert I had the Kesari Kheer. It's rice pudding with a few pieces of pistachios and saffron (I didn't taste any saffron) on top. It tasted like straight up condensed milk. I can't say it was my favorite (I like the Kheer at Aditi better) but if you like sweet milk with small chunks of basmati rice, you will like it. My phone died, so I only have one pic, but I'm definitely going back again and again and will have more pictures to add. Namaste has so many mixed reviews, so if you're on the fence about dining here (for dinner, I can't speak for the brunch). JUST DO IT. You won't be disappointed. read more

I ordered from here via door dash for the first time today and it is so delicious! I got the chicken biryani and vegetable pakora. I am only familiar with these dishes due to past and current coworkers bringing in their delicious homemade versions of the dish. I've always been worried to order it via take out because I didn't know if it would be as good as the homemade ones I've had... and Namaste did not disappoint! The pakoras were so flavorful and crisp, and I love the brown sauce (not sure what it's called, I can't remember!) that comes with them. The biryani definitely had a kick to it and it was so fragrant and DELICIOUS. You can taste every single spice used! The servings are PLENTIFUL and definitely worth the price you're paying. I will definitely order from here again, and hopefully one day make the trip to dine in! read more

Giving one star because I have to give a star. First time I tried today. The ratings are not correct. They have fake ratings. The food was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. I ordered paneer tikka masala which is described as having tomato gravy base. And rasmalai. Both items were not fresh (they tasted and smelled bad). The paneer was large chunks (like one chunk was the size of my palm). They were hard and fried. It seemed like someone dumped an appetizer in sauce. The sauce was even worse, it was all cream based and looked like milk, it wasn't even orange. No masala, seemed like they dipped the appetizer in CREAM (which we cannot have) and delivered it. The rasmalai was so soft it all broke into its milky sauce. I threw everything out. I will never order from here or physically visit. I also called and the manager was very proud of the fact that they did not list the correct description of ingredients. As an Indian, I am very disappointed in not only the quality but the customer service. read more

While I could tell that the food had good flavor, it was delivered late, the food was starting to get cold, and they did not include any utensils or napkins. Nestled in the corner of a strip mall, Namaste appeared unassuming. But this place has THE GOODS. My mom and I came here for dinner on Saturday night. We arrived early (4:50ish) and they opened right at 5pm. The dining room is spacious. The decor is nice. And the table settings are sophisticated. My mom was really diggin' the cloth napkins and candle light (we didn't expect those). We ordered two cocktails from their full bar, and started with the Samosa Chat appetizer. The drinks were on the lighter side - could barely taste the alcohol - but the Samosa Chat blew us away!!! The presentation and flavors were absolutely phenomenal. If you visit Namaste, ORDER THE SAMOSA CHAT!! You won't regret it. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was ehh. The curry had good flavor but wasn't as spicy or rich as I was expecting. My mom, on the other hand, had a real winner. She ordered the Lamb Biryani. One word - BANGIN! It was a great mix of textures and spices. The lamb was tender and juicy, spot on preparation. The serving sizes were huge too!! We each ate a plate of Biryani and still had plenty to take home. After stuffing our faces, we couldn't bare to look at the dessert menu, so can't comment on that. To be clear, I am not a huge fan of Indian food. But Namaste easily one of the best Indian/Nepalese restaurants I've ever eaten at. My mom is from Goa, and a lot of Namaste's dishes are Goan. I can testify to the fact that they do not "Americanize" their cuisine in any way. Authentic and delicious. Standards like tandoori chicken are excellent here, and one of the standout dishes is the crispy/fried spinach (something "chat" I believe). Service is always friendly. Unfortunately, the buffet isn't back yet. I often order the mala-kofta from Namaste and it comes with a side of basmati rice. The food is good and you can tell them the spice level and they will cook it for you accordingly. The customer service is okay, used to be great but times have changed with the pandemic. read more

I would usually say that this place was great and everyone should try it. Now I have found out from my friends, which I expressed was good, isn't at all. It was an embarrassment. A place I loved so much has changed and is lacking all around. What Happened??? 1. Service is slow when trying to eat at the establishment for lunch and their buffet isn't up to the standards. 2.Food is either over cooked or picked at to much. Case in point, I haven't tried the buffet but they don't recommend it. As for the Tamarind and Corrida Chutney was severely watered down. I made my own decision on this today when I went 10/18/2018. 3. The Tamarind Sauce was super watery. It didn't even go into the Samosas which I love from this place. No flavor and was definitely cut by water. Anyone who has had real Tamarind Chutney would tell you the same. Not watery... As for the Corrida Chutney was ok but over powering. To much cilantro and no seed blended correctly with oil and other spices. This is a "Grimy" which wasn't comfortable to eat. Sorry to say but Wegmans does this better in the sauce department...Ouch, I know! Samosas were perfect with an extra dose of potato's...hint not good. They should have kept the balance as before. Now its all deep fried breading and nothing else but seasoning and potatoes. Were is the veggies? Such high hopes for this place but unfortunate this will be my last time visiting and my friends. We checked this place out after much deliberation and reading a ton of Yelp reviews, and we were happy we did! We had a hankering for Nepalese-Indian food, and Namaste definitely delivered dishes that hit the spot! They brought papad and a trio of chutneys to the table after we ordered, and our waters were constantly attended to. To start, we had the paneer tikka appetizer, which came as 3 large pieces of tandoor-grilled paneer served with a lemon wedge. One amazingly nice touch was that they cut almost all the way through each cube and put coriander chutney in between in addition to the marinade on the outside before they cook it in the clay oven. What. A. Gamechanger!! The paneer was SUPER delicious, and we could have eaten plate after plate of it. (We're going to start putting chutney in our paneer before we grill it too!) We got chicken momo and gobi Manchurian for entrees, and both were great! Momos are Nepalese version of potstickers/steamed gyoza, and they are served with a tomato chutney. The Gobi Manchurian is a breaded and deep-fried cauliflower which is then tossed in a sauce, and is awesome. Some places serve this dish dry and some serve it saucy...this is a saucy version. Long story longer, definitely check out Namaste for some delicious Northern Indian/Nepalese food. And get the paneer tikka. Seriously. read more

Namaste is a wonderful place where you can test your discipline and control. Their buffet is priced reasonably for $12 and it offers food that is so good that you want to take it again and again but little man in your head is saying that you got what you wanted and that should be enough. It is very hard to stop eating in Namaste. Bhatura is good as any European doughnut. Spinach with corn you can enjoy like wine - sip it a little by little. If I will ever be a vegetarian I would have to eat in Namaste every day. Their goat and chicken is great too but lentils and spinach and delicious vegetable tempura is almost good to convert me to be vegetarian. Very clean place, kind people on not-so-famous location. I came here with my family recently for the lunch buffet and we had a great experience! It's a small restaurant; reservations are helpful but not required. We were greeted and seated immediately. The buffet has many options and is a mix of Indian and Nepalese food. I think I tried the majority of the dishes and they were delicious. My favorites were the chicken biryani, chicken tikka, lentils, and vegetables. Everything I tried was fantastic. Service was great throughout our meal. They gave us plenty of naan which we loved. Although I have never visited Nepal, I have been to India twice, and I can say that without reservation this is some of the best Indian food in the area. I came in for lunch and tried their show-stopping buffet, an unending feast of Vindaloos, Curry, and Masala that will most definitely make you say, "Namaste." Now, the all-you-can-eat buffet is just $9.50, and it stands as the best deal in town. The food is so filling here that one plate is more than enough. Oh, and is it tasty? so much so I found myself doubting all other Indian meals that had come before. This my friend is the real deal, with real Indian food. I say this because many Indian restaurants will place out a buffet, but their selections are always limited and just not that great, offering a watered down version of some of their standards. However, Namaste stocks its buffet table with a vindaloo that was a thick and creamy whirlwind of spicy goodness. And the butter chicken must be what little Perdue chickens aspire to be when they make their way off the farm. Yum!!. Oh, but the true star of this amazing buffet was the Nepalese goat curry, a dish that was dark and rich, a curry which brought the smell and taste of the Himalayas to your plate with just a single bite. I say it again, "Namaste." The manager Raj was also wonderful, for he personally walked me through their menu and pointed out the Napalese dishes as opposed to the just "Indian" dishes. He took a great deal of pride in his restaurant, and I immediately felt at home. Raj pointed to some tiny puffed rice bowls, asking, "Have you ever had Pani Poori?" I confessed that I had not, and he quickly poured some dubious green liquid into one of the puffed bowls (I later discovered that it was a mixture of chickpeas&chutney served in a lightly spiced water). I took my new treasure back to my table, where Raj instructed me to pop the whole concoction into my mouth. Again, I seriously had my doubts, but that first bite soon dispelled those: Bam! Pow! Wham! Oh, Yelpers, I am talking about an explosion of flavor here. I looked up stunned to find Raj smiling with delight, asking if I would like another. Like The Matrix's Neo on having just learned cyber Karate. I was ready for more and replied, "Hell, Yes!" Everything was so good at Namaste that I returned the next day. It was just as superb, and I only hope that my local yelp friends can get down here as soon as possible to try out this oasis of flavor. I would extend the invitation to my California and Singapore peeps, but I realize that would be a pretty long road trip for a meal. Still, it might just be worth the cost of the ticket, but one thing is certain, whether you are local or from out of town, this place will have you leaving, saying, "Namaste." read more

So much awesome-sauce. Whether it's green, red, white, or brown, the food here is fantastic. And $10.99 for the lunch buffet (11:30 am - 3 pm)! I've been to about 10 Indian restaurants, and this one was my favorite. One thing that I found particular neat was that they brought the naan (bread) right to my table.
