I order my food to go and had bad experience with the staff: unfriendly and no suggestion or concerns for spiceness. Everything taste like could days old food and someone microwave and give it to you. I never had such a bad experience with a simple dish like Vegetable friend rice. I will never go back. read more

Listen. I'll give it to you straight. 2 experiences so far. First one - amazing. Second one - we were there for 1.5 hours, our order was wrong, they gave us food we did not order, and charged us for an extra item. Then they never brought water and we ordered two drinks and an hour and a half later they told us they gave all the drinks away. From our two experiences, they seem to more attentively serve Indian peoples. I get it - it's an Indian restaurant. Now the food is amazing - if you're ready to wait 10x your normal wait time. The takeout line grew like mad during our inside stay. People left in anger and others that called, were told they were closed for the night (even though they closed in 45min they told people they were closing). I would like to thank the gentleman who works his butt off to try and serve everyone as a host - however he is short staffed and it's simply unmanageable for one man. Never going back to this place.So they just have one answer- we make the biryani at one spice level and cannot modify. So it means that for your kids, you go to another place as we will serve our food SUPER SPICY and STALE!!!!!!! Always supported local business in Canton since I had a business myself. But this place seems to be one of the I DO NOT CARE KIND OF PLACES!!! remember customers are the ones for who you are there!!! Not asking for you to go out of your way and do things. But for the money we pay we must walk out satisfied. The chicken 65 seems to be fried a couple of times just to re heat it. and we found a gobi peice in the chicken 65. We placed a catering order for my son's birthday party.They have lot of varieties to choose to accomidate both vegetarians and non vegetarians.The food was custom made to our needs. I'm not sure what other people are raving about, but NF Canton has been a big disappointment to me personally. I went there for lunch 4 times and all 4 times I was disappointed - to say the least. The food looked stale and didn't taste anything like the real NF in Farmington Hills. On top of that, their biryani was extremely salty. I've only been there for lunch, so maybe the dinner is better, but with the kind of experiences I've had, I can't convince myself to back there for dinner. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. The restaurant itself was very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also extremely clean which is important especially with a toddler. The service was great and attentive. Chicken biriyani was different than what I'm used to but very tasty change - the chicken was nice and moist. The Raita was colorful and pleasing to the eye and very nice as well. Also tried Karhai and chicken tikka masala with no complaints there either. Overall, although we live 15-20 min away in Farmington Hills (with plenty of Indian/Pakistani restaurants to choose from mind you) Namaste Flavors is worth the drive. read more

I was in the mood for Indian food the other day. After reading the reviews for this place, I decided to give this place a try for carry-out. I ordered several items including the Ginger Chicken and the Samosas. I also decided to try the Roti. Everything was excellent. The favors were incredible and the spice level was perfect. Picked up carryout: 1. Samosa, 2. Butter Chicken, 3. Chicken Tikka Masala, 4. Plain rice. I can't really critique Indian cuisine at a low level, however I have had it a few times from legit places (wedding and a restaurant in Troy that an old Indian friend took me to), so I know what good Indian food should taste like. I've also made the store brand jar butter chicken (gross). All items here were absolutely amazing tasting. I giggled a bit when I read the menu mentioning "chicken cooked to perfection." However, IT WAS. For my "American" translation, I would say the chicken was cooked in a slow cooker, texture was great, no fatty pieces. I've had samosas a few times that were brought into work by an Indian colleague (so I know those were legit). These tasted exactly like those. Hot, fresh and they were huge. Even the rice was full of flavor and the perfect texture. On the heat prospective, the level was perfect in the two dishes. I know that by standard butter chicken is not hot, however the tikka masala had a nice heat. I will definitely being working my way through their menu in the next few months to really try things I've not had before. Oh, and just to make the experience better, the gentlemen behind the counter was super polite. I know it's sad that we have to rate that these days, however props to him for being genuine. read more
