Quick, good, just what you want. Ok yeah I have a soft spot for pho813. It's close to the house, it's great and I'm never upset. If it's cold or there is a heavy rain storm outside there is a 85% chance you will see me here for dinner. It just makes sense. I throughly enjoy a lot of things about pho813. From the sauces on the table to the attentive waiters this is the spot. I've done solo dates, group events after sports and birthday celebrations here and everybody enjoyed their meals. Also the bar seating is clutch for solo outings. I don't have to worry about occupying a 4 top and you can chop it up with the staff behind the bar. Heck yeah. Once I was blocked in by the owner/manager in the car lot (I may have parked in the staff parking becuase it was so busy) and when I told the staff a man came out in full 3 piece suit and we laughed our way to the car and he told me he thought I was apart of the kitchen crew so why not park behind me. A great vibe accompanied by great food. I love this place. I can't wait to come back and try more and more dishes and up those 4 stars to 5!

I called ahead for a small lunch time bite and was in the mood for shrimp spring rolls. These rolls definitely had fresh shrimp in the rice paper wrappers but I must say the ingredients were minimal. There was rice vermicelli noodles, fresh herbs like mint and basil but there wasn't the crunchy vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce I typically have in a roll. I did enjoy the peanut dipping sauce. The venue itself is nice and clean with a nice indoor and outdoor seating area.

I've tried quite a few places in Tampa and couldn't really find what I was looking for, but this location is hands down the best Pho I've had in the area. I usually order the shrimp pho and add mixed vegetables, and it's consistently flavorful every single time. My husband typically gets the beef pho, and his is always just as good. The flavors are rich, balanced, and comforting. Anytime we have friends come into town, we bring them here, and they always leave with the same takeaway we did. Great food, great flavor, and consistent quality. The restaurant is always clean, and even when we order to go, the food is still fresh and high quality. Service is quick, and every server we've had has been friendly and knowledgeable. This spot has definitely become a go to for us.

First time I've been here. 45 min before closing on a Sunday Labor Day. Wasn't too busy. I got the spring rolls and veggie pho with beef broth. I'm doing this review to save for an update. I will go back. They have great parking. A bar too but didn't seem like much at bar. Reminds me of pho Qyuen. Amazing bar but they aren't doing anything with it. Server was nice. Service a little slow in comparison to other places but again Sunday before closing and I'm sure he wanted to get out of there. They do have a TV as well that had college football on.

Pho 813 is seriously so underrated. Everything we ordered was SO good, and the portions were huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. I got the salmon, my friend got the Bun Bo Hue , and honestly we were both obsessed. The Thai milk teas were super good too. But the fried ice cream?? Easily the best I've had in YEARS. I would come back just for that. The staff was also incredibly nice, and the whole place has a chill, laid-back vibe that makes it really enjoyable to eat there. If you're in the area and thinking about trying it, this is your sign. Definitely one of those places that deserves way more hype.

This place is amazing! They were so busy after Gasparilla but still had great service and were so kind. The food is even better. Their pho and bahn mi are so flavorful and the best in the city

Can't believe I haven't tried Pho 813 until now... I was missing out, big time!! I got the grilled pork rice platter to go. We ordered when we were just down the street and it was ready when we arrived, within like 5-10 minutes! Didn't really get a chance to look around the interior since we were just picking up, but parking was easy and there was plenty of it. When we got home and dug in, I was delighted with my order. The pork was perfect with that grilled flavor you can only get at a place like this, the sauce and little veggie sides were good, and the rice was addicting. It was also a pretty large portion size. I really want to try the pho and banh mi here, but I don't know how I'm going to do that when the rice platters are on the menu here... but I will definitely be back to try them all eventually!

May be the best Pho place we've found in the Tampa Bay Area. The broth was delicious and flavorful and although the meat was not as thinly sliced as I prefer, it was plentiful and tender. My husband got the Combination Bun and he enjoyed it while mentioning it was the largest bowl he's ever gotten. The summer rolls and egg rolls were also delicious. The place is very clean, and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back!

The pho was flavorful, comforting, and came out steaming hot with a rich broth that had a lot of depth. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying.

    - Ordered beef deluxe pho and tofu and vegetable egg noodle soup which both tasted great. Pho noodles and beef slices tasted fresh. Bean sprouts could have been fresher (see pics). Food came out fast. - Good customer service: food came fast, water refilled quickly, server asked us pretty often whether everything was going well - Ambiance: family friendly - Would have given 4.5 if possible but took off 0.5 stars due to bean sprouts not being as fresh as they could be

Pretty good. This is more of an elevated viet place than I'm used to catered to western sensibilities (ie they bring you the check vs pay at a cash register). Clean decor. Tried their deluxe pho, rice and sandwich dishes. All very good. Service was friendly.

I have not seen any noted on the menu. They seem to use the traditional rice/glass noodles in the pho and my friend who tries to eat gluten free has no problem with this type of noodles. Hope it works for you because their pho is delicious!

We also tried the vanilla bubble waffle with cookies & cream ice cream. The waffle itself was fresh, a good size, and comes with two toppings we opted for fruit. Unfortunately, the ice cream tasted stale and freezer-burned, so Id skip the ice cream scoop They do have a huge variety on the menu, so I may come back and try a few different dishes next time.

I added a fried egg on top since that's my favorite addition to eat with banh mis in general. The bread was cripsy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they were generous with their portions of pork and veggies. Such a great authentic Vietnamese spot for families and casual dining. My go-to is always the Grilled Beef Chop (Rib Cutlet) rice dish. Generous every single time. The service is what really sets Gao apart. The two gentlemen at the front are always so attentive and friendly. On my last visit, one of them remembered that I wasn't a fan of the steamed egg and pork meatloaf from a previous visit. If there is a charge, restaurants usually let you know beforehand, and it is typically around $1 to $2 per cup. At this restaurant, no one clarified that there would be a charge, yet we were charged $5.50 per cup, while their actual drinks cost only $6. If we had known, we would have just ordered actual drinks instead. It is not about the amount of money. It is about transparency and honesty with customers. As for the food, it was overpriced and lacked flavor. I ordered their special Vietnamese udon (bánh canh đặc biệt), but they had the audacity to serve me Japanese udon. That is not bánh canh. Vietnamese bánh canh and Japanese udon are completely different in taste, texture, and preparation, so this was especially disappointing and felt disrespectful to a traditional Vietnamese dish. We also tried their "most popular" dish, mackerel snd fish cake noodle soup (bún cá thu chả cá), and unfortunately, it was completely bland and lacked flavor. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Between the disappointing, overpriced food and the lack of transparency regarding the charges, the experience left a very bad impression.

I live in Miami where there isn't much Vietnamese food but my parents moved to Pinellas Park only a few minutes away from this restaurant so I was super excited to visit and go with them! Vietnamese buffets are not a common business model, and from other types of buffets you know that sometimes the quality can suffer, but Quan Ngon strikes a great balance between quality but also diverse options from many subtypes of Vietnamese cuisine. I won't be able to go into everything I tried (that would be a novel) but I will hit some of the highlights: - Grilled pork with broken rice: pork was marinated well, savory and sweet with a nice chargrilled taste, great with the rice + eggs + scallion oil or even by itself - Curry chicken: tastes very similar to how I remember my family does it, light but a bit creamy and with tender chicken and potatoes - Braised clay pot fish (but it's buffet style so served in a warming tray): savory, a bit sweet, tender fish that goes well with rice to soak up all the sauce - Fish sauce wings: not a super traditional dish but it's popping up all over modern Vietnamese restaurants now, slightly crisp outside juicy inside with a delicious savory sweet just salty enough glaze - Dessert (Che) bar: I'm not a huge fan of Vietnamese desserts, but I have to admit their row of Vietnamese desserts are well cooked, and sweet but not too sweet (also approved by my Vietnamese parents so you know it's legit!) For the price, the Quan Ngon Bistro buffet is more than worth it; for not too much above the price of a single entree at most other restaurants, you get to try a generous array of well made dishes. Whether you are native Vietnamese or trying Vietnamese cuisine for the first time, I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

I visited twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and found that the selection was pretty much exactly the same both times, The pho is only on weekends, dry noodles and meat are pre-portioned into bowls, and the broth wasn't hot enough to properly warm the meat or soften the noodles, leaving them on the dry side instead of tender...I couldn't finish my bowl The bánh xèo was nice and crispy but quite oily and only had 1-2 pieces of shrimp. Some dishes were flavorful and fresh, while others seemed like they had been sitting out for a while and weren't kept hot enough. The standout dishes for me were the rice congee, bánh cuốn, chicken wings, and the caramelized fish. Those were well done and the reason I'd consider coming back. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were attentive. Overall, it's worth trying at least once if you're curious about a Vietnamese buffet, but compared to many of the excellent Vietnamese restaurants in the Tampa Bay area, I still prefer ordering freshly made dishes over the buffet. With a little more variety, hotter food, and a few quality improvements, this place could easily be a worth the price. * Weekdays: $24/adult, kids are half price * Weekends: $29/adult, kids are half price *4 and under free
