I took my two-year-old Goldendoodle here for grooming, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Despite giving clear instructions, my dog was shaved completely, leaving her nearly bald, which was not what I requested. The communication was also lacking: they didn't provide a price upfront, didn't give me a pickup time, and the final cost ended up being quite high. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the service and the quality of the grooming. Additionally, the groomers also messed up the area around her belly, which made the whole experience even worse. I do not recommend this place. At the end when I was expressing my concerns to the owner he didn't even care he just kept saying he needed to leave. I hate this place! read more

I would like to start this review off by saying that I was at one point a loyal customer to this business. Genesis does a phenomenal job handling my anxious dog and always does a great job with her cut. Unfortunately, I will no longer be referring this business to my family and friends, and I will no longer be a customer. I experienced some of the worst customer service today. I booked a mobile groom appointment for 12 PM. I received a confirmation text for this appointment, but a couple of hours later i received another message stating my appointment was rescheduled? This had been done without notifying me. I called the salon to confirm that the new rescheduled appointment would be at the time I had now been given which was 1:45 PM. I let them know this actually worked out for me.(even though they rescheduled without notifying me) due to another appointment I had. I CONFIRMED this with receptionist Jasmine that the groomer would be at my home at 1:45 PM. At 12 PM the Groomer calls me stating that she's outside of my home. I let her know that I was told that the appointment had been rescheduled to 1:45 PM and that I had confirmed this with their receptionist. The Groomer then goes onto tell me that she was not notified and that this is the only time she can groom my dog. I became flustered as I am not home, and this is the only off day that I have. I called their salon to let them know what is going on and Jasmin offered no help. Jasmine then goes on to tell me that the groomer herself had changed the appointment. You can imagine the confusion I felt as I am now being told two different things by two different people within the same company. She stated that she would get a hold of the Groomer, and give me a call back to confirm what the resolution would be. I waited 30 minutes and received no call. After calling two or three times I was finally able to get through to the salon. I am so disappointed by Jasmines response. I was made to feel that this was my fault somehow and when I asked if she could resolve this situation, I was offered no help. I am very upset, and this business has now lost a loyal customer and somebody who referred other customers in. I am writing this review in hopes that the owner Carla will see this and have a discussion with her team about professionalism and communication between reception, the groomers, and their customer. Your customer should never be left feeling like something was their fault, especially when this was due to lack of communication and time management amongst the staff. Your employees should have empathy and patience when dealing with customers and most importantly offer accountability. Throughout this entire interaction, I felt none of the staff seemed to care to find a resolution. Especially the receptionist/customer service. read more

It's almost comical how she was left! Teddy bear face? Dear gawd, what a nightmare and a waste Of money. Here's the scoop: I received a call from the groomer letting me know Cheekie was a little difficult to groom in the face and was told they have another groomer who was going to try, I asked them to call me if they cannot complete the job (understandably so, I would NOT have been upset if they couldn't finish the job) but i emphasized the importance of desired look, a teddy bear face. Instead of them calling to let me know they could not complete the job at hand, the groomer went ham and was more focused on collecting total payment and MESSED up her entire face cut. Her ears were left uneven with unreasonable long hairs left, just a mess. I included the text I sent them being clear on what I was wanting, and I added the last pictures of what my baby looks like normally. I've been using them for over five years and at first things were great . In the last year their service has declined. From missed appointments, to lack of communication and switching techs & appointments at the last minute. This last visit was by far the worst. A new mobile tech came who fist promised to leave my dog "better than the last" tech to then completely shaving off my mixed Pomeranian to her bare skin "because of matting" when 20 minutes prior she'd called to confirm what we wanted (even though she should've had notes) she stated there wasn't a lot of matting. I then was charged $195 from the usual $120 without any notice or prior approval and my dog's nails weren't even trimmed. She states that the owner told her she should stop the service because my dog was difficult but she didn't want to but again I was never notified of this. When I asked her about it she proceeded to blame the previous tech for never telling me that my dog was difficult. I have since called them couple of times to let them know about my experience and I've yet to hear back from them. For this reason I will not be using their services any longer. read more

We just moved to the area and we're happy to try a new business as our dog has been neglected for service care during our transition. They were upfront with the fees, I selected some add-ons and even received a special I wasn't aware of they were offering. My dog is nervous but doesn't bite or whine and they said she was a good pup while they fixed her up from shaving, were able to keep her face fur longer as requested, tear stains/eye goop removed and her fur whitened up to perfection. My baby moves happily thanks to the great service we received. Looking forward to future upkeep visits with this salon and hope others get consistent experiences mirroring ours read more

Scheduled an appointment for 1pm, I was told it would take up to 3 hours to cut my puppies hair (small breed), after 3.5 hours i was concerned I had not received a phone call, so I drove there to fine out they hadn't even started on my puppy! The owner was rude and made stupid comments, kept repeating himself that he said 3 hours, not realizing it was almost 4 hours at that point. They tried to rush him out of the cage and started shaving him when they saw i was upset which made me even more upset, so instead of having a poor rushed haircut that would still take another 1.5 hours, I took my dog snd left. @Carla wow, what a clownish response, but I am glad you brought up me being "late", I was late 4 minutes exactly and even had the curtsey to call to make sure it was ok. You're team, and as you claim were a person short, did not have the decency to call and let me know that it would be closer to 5 hours than the 3 hours I was told. Had you apologized even once, or asked me to bring him back and you would prioritize him for another day I would have felt differently, but know you felt it was best to be rude, your ego was more important and worst of all when you saw I was mad you pulled him out of the gate and started to rush to shave him, I asked to specifically leave his mustache alone and not to touch and you shave half of it! I took my 10 month old Corgi (who does very well at groomings) here yesterday with the full service package and added on the de-shedding treatment, teeth cleaning, nail grinding, and paw trim with the groomer named, "Desi". Upon pickup, the front receptionist was helping another customer, I heard the only groomer in the back say "the corgi was shedding too much". Once the front receptionist was available to help me, she then proceeded to ask if it was his first time being groomed and if I brush him at home. While he has been to previous groomers and has daily brushes, the point of me adding on the deshedding treatment was for him to get... deshedded. He has a double coat.. he's a CORGI.. I can't begin to imagine the things they would have said if I took him in when he was blowing his winter coat. This has never been an issue of him "shedding too much" at a groomer, might I add. And regardless, a customer should not have to hear an employee complain about their dog in front of them. The package also includes an ear cleaning which I do not think happened as his ears are still very dirty. I also requested that they round out the hair on his tail which did not happen. And on top of all this mess, they cut his nail too short and I found it bleeding once I got home. I understand that dogs can get scared and move around during nail trimmings, but I was not made aware that they nipped him whatsoever. My baby is the friendliest corgi who loves giving his paws out and is now scared and hesitant to let me even touch his paws. I am not happy with their lack of communication and professionalism. 0/10 recommend. Save yourself the trouble and TRAUMA for your babies and don't come here. Especially if your baby has a double coat apparently... Thanks for traumatizing my puppy. read more

Had a schedule appointment at 2:30 today I called around four to see if he was ready. They told me he was not even started working on him yet received a phone call at 4:25 stating he'll be ready in 10 minutes and if they close at five arrive to the shop And was told he was not cooperating and there's gonna be extra fees they did not trim his nails and he is super choppy terrible service. They only stated problems and gave no solutions. Sounds like they try to rush him because they wanted to close early. I will not be back. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS!! Take your dog elsewhere or do it at home to make sure it doesn't happen to your fur baby. I'm so disappointed in this salon after many decent jobs. I took my dog to get his regular haircut and wash on July 8th. When I picked him up he seem very stressed and overwhelmed I figured he was ready to go home. Reason 1. I was NEVER informed about the $5 price change on the haircuts. It could have been $1-100 if you have a customer coming back multiple times, and you actually care about keeping them you'd at Least let the customers before service. Or even post on your social media. It's almost like they didn't want customers to know whatever. When I asked why is it a different charge than normal he gave me every excuse as to why the price is what it is and Mentioned LAST that the price went up. Who knows when. Next I take my dog home I notice the next morning that his ball area near his private part was PURPLE AND PEELING. He was not licking himself or nothing I just so happen to see when I was putting his leash on. And you know what the vet said when I took him, that the tools they used were either not sanitized or not properly cleaned and he got an infection off that. I will not put any images only because I want this review to stay here and not get taken down. For these reasons I Will never bring him back here and will tell every person I know about my experience here. I have no reason to lie or waste my time writing this long review on a horrible job. Took our dog on Tuesday at 4 for a grooming, including the haircut , deshedding , nail trim , and shampooing. It took 3 and a half hours for the service and when we retrieved her her eyes were irritated and when we brought her home we noticed her eye vessels were popped. They claimed she was a bad and violent dog when we have never had issues with her before. She is an inside dog and is normally calm. Her hair is still long and the price of $130 was definitely not worth it. I don't know if they had a choke collar on her but she was pink around the eyes as if she had been crying.
