This is the cut & blood stain.

Let me preface this by saying I was extremely happy with my mini schnauzer cuts the first 2 times. This third time has been really such a horrible experience. The older lady there knew my dog and always did a good job for a fair price. This time it was different. I dropped off my dog around 9 am and picked her up probably around 12 ( they are always so timely, it's great.) I asked how it went since my dog is older, she said the usual, she was fine, sensitive on her paws, I knew that and her beard was matted( of course) she did her usual and fixed the beard. I did notice there was a big blood spot on her ear, the groomer said nothing. She basically rushed me out the door. I let it go because I figured my senior dog probably moved and it wasn't bad. I got home and noticed she her cut was very edgy, very uneven, and then my dog started being sensitive about anything or anyone touching her ear and paws. I noticed her paw pads weren't cut right. She had another nic on her back leg. I'm very disappointed. Today I showered my dog & this is what makes me write this review. My dog normally is cool in the shower and just lets me do my thing. This time she was so scared and shaking and coughing from being stressed out in the water, she was extra sensitive about her ear and her paws. She never tucks her tail between her legs and this time she did. I couldn't even blow dry her like I usually do because she wouldn't lift her head or Stop whimpering. I've never had her whimper during a bath or blow dryer. I won't be taking my dog back there and I'm really sad to say that. I liked how she normally cut my schnauzer since a lot of groomers cannot cut schnauzer's. I loved that they had note cards for the dog. I'm very very disappointed and honestly, I'm hurt that she couldn't just tell me that she cut my dog. I asked her because my dog is older and I know older dogs can be more sensitive so I wanted to make sure everything went smooth for the groomer. I'm not saying not to go there, make your own judgement. Try it, it might work for you. I had 2 great experiences and then this. Although, I won't be returning, I hope the groomer feels bad for what she did to myself and my dog. I trusted her and all she had to do was talk to me. I know things happen.

Been coming here for about 7 years on and off due to moving away and returning. The staff is friendly and nice, they tell you how your dog behaved and if there are any issues or things to report. Pricing is more than fair and the cuts are usually done well. We usually do a summer cut on our dogs so they're nice and cool for the local climate and still look good. I'd definitely recommend tender touch for anyone looking for a fairly priced and great groomer.

I have nothing but nice things to say! I dropped of my aussiedoodle off this morning! And she's a 5 month old and new to grooming. I got a call after 2.5-3 hours that she was down. I see her in the kennel when. I arrived and doing good. She was safe and monitored. They did such a great job! Wonderful ladies in their! I wish I knew the name who cut her but thank you so much!!!!!!

Took my corgi here for the first time, it was his first time being groomed as well and I loved it! They were quick, less than three hours and on a busy day as well. He got a trim on his butt and now it's nice and round and fluffy. He's so clean and smells so good! I've always been pushing off grooming for my dog because of prices but this place is so affordable I plan to bring him back once a month. Thank you again!

Ok so I don't like this place as much as I thought, my dog looks like he got a buzz cut on the top of his head down the middle looks like they buzzed it accidentally they could have atleast fixed it all the same length but they didn't... they keep your dogs in tiny lil carriers which i hated, and its not too clean inside.

SUCH A GOOD JOB! exactly what i asked for, for a great price too! my pup was so happy and smelt great, definitely will be our new spot

Thank you for all your years of service!

Worst dog groomer around. They drag the dogs and you drop them off at 8am and don't get done until 5. Do not take any large dog here

We've called other salons closer to home, but their prices are much higher, and the quality and service here keep us coming back. In all our visits, we've never experienced any rudeness or negativity quite the opposite. The staff has always been professional and welcoming. As for the cancellation fee some people mention, it's important to be realistic appointments here take hours, and that's valuable time set aside specifically for you. It's completely fair for a business to protect that time. We personally do our best not to cancel, but when something unavoidable comes up, we understand and respect their policy. My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

They assured me they could work with her. After I dropped her off, they even called and asked for permission to put a muzzle on her so they could continue. I also offered to stay and help comfort my dog during the grooming, but they told me it wasn't necessary. About two hours later, I received a call to come pick her up. When I saw her, I was shocked. She looked terrible. They didn't even groom her face, and she had multiple cuts on her ears and face. To make matters worse, she was still wet when they handed her back to me. They told me my dog was aggressive, but at no point did anyone call to let me know they were unable to safely complete the grooming. Instead, they waited until I arrived and then tried to charge me extra because they said it took two people to work on her. I have a 1-year-old Maltipoo who is incredibly sweet and loving. I understand she gets anxious during grooming, which is exactly why I was upfront about her behavior from the beginning. I expected patience, communication, and professionalism--not for my dog to come home injured and with an incomplete groom. I will not be returning. Not only that, but the groomer who worked on my dog was extremely rude and unprofessional, and the owner of the shop allowed the disrespectful behavior. She repeatedly kept telling me my dog was "bad," constantly talked over me, and spoke to me in an aggressive tone when I was simply trying to explain that the additional charge should have been communicated beforehand. They had no problem calling me to ask permission to use a muzzle and informing me there would be an extra charge for that, so they should have shown the same courtesy when they decided to charge me more because two people had to work on my dog. Instead, they waited until I arrived to tell me, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. And then they had the nerve to try to charge me $125 for a groom that wasn't even completed. My dog's face wasn't done, she came back with cuts on her ears and face, and she was still wet when they handed her to me. Based on the way the groomer spoke to me--being rude, aggressive, and repeatedly calling my dog "bad"--I left with very little confidence that my dog was treated with the patience and care she deserved. My dog is a sweet, loving 1-year-old Maltipoo who gets anxious during grooming, and I was transparent about that from the very beginning. I expected compassion and professionalism, not poor communication, disrespect, and an incomplete groom. i wouldnt even give a star but i have to!

BEWARE .. BEWARE!!!…read more I'm writing this review to you today because I had a really surprising and frankly, pretty disappointing experience when I brought my schnauzer in for her recent grooming. I was really hoping for a specific type of service based on our chat beforehand, but what happened wasn't at all what I expected. When I booked the appointment, we talked quite a bit about getting her that classic, breed-standard schnauzer cut. That particular style is super important for her look, and I was assured that you guys were totally skilled in doing it. That's why I felt comfortable bringing her to you - I really trusted that his unique grooming needs would be met. So, imagine how shocked and upset I was when I picked her up and found shed been completely shaved! Her signature schnauzer coat, which defines her , was just gone. It was such an unexpected change and definitely not what we had agreed upon. When I asked about it, I was told it was because of "severe matting." And honestly, I have to strongly disagree with that my dog had some matting on her chest area and spout but nothing to that extreme of completely shaving her down . But more than anything, what really threw me off was the lack of communication. If there was genuinely a problem with matting that meant you couldn't do the schnauzer cut we discussed, I really, really wish I would have got the heads up about the complete shave down and given the option to take my dog elsewhere . A quick heads-up would have allowed us to talk through options, or I could have even come to pick her up. Making such a drastic, irreversible decision without my consent is a big oversight and a bit of a disregard for what I wanted for my pet. This whole situation is more than just a styling mistake; it feels like a real letdown in trust and communication. Seeing my dog like this is quite upsetting, especially after I went out of my way to choose a specialized service. In addition I was charged 80+ for the unauthorized shave down and according to the lady I was also charged for the muzzle they used on her !! Given this rather unsatisfactory experience, I'm sad to say I won't be able to bring my dog back to Nancy's for future grooming. And honestly, it makes it hard for me to recommend your salon to other pet owners looking for reliable service. Please see the photos 2nd photo is how they left my dog.

Once the shop opened, we learned the entire operation was being run by one heroic human that morning. One. A whole grooming shop held together by sheer willpower and caffeine. After we explained Sawyer's situation, this absolute saint of a groomer didn't just agree to trim his nails -- she offered to clean him up for a small fee, with the kind of patience and warmth that could calm a tornado. Minutes later, out strutted a brand‑new dog. Freshly trimmed, nails immaculate, tail wagging like he'd just won a beauty pageant. I tipped more than I planned, but honestly, it still wasn't enough. She earned every penny with her kindness, her skill, and that unwavering smile that said, "Yes, I am single‑handedly keeping this place running, and no, you will not see me break."
