Luuuuurvvvve Nandos BUT...... the service at this one kinda lacks. There are never any knives and forks. They take long to do the replen......My last visit i had to ask 4 FRIKKIN times for a fork ( i felt like being a gentlemen and eating properly) Regardless if you can use your hands they should always be available. Okay, I get that Nando's has Portuguese roots, but categorizing it as Portuguese food is pushing it a bit I think. Nando's is a fancy Kentucky Fried Chicken chain basically. So yes, I agree with Viviane; even though Nando's chicken is grilled, but maybe that's me just splitting hairs, haha. I give this place 4 stars because the atmosphere was excellent. Fun, chill, casual, just the right balance of ambiance. Maybe it's because I went with a kick ass group of people... Lucky for Nando's ^_~ Being an American, any place where you get unlimited refills makes me happy. Haha. Seriously though, you can't even do this at most McDonald's. Honestly, I was a bit frustrated by the availability of their sauces. All of my friends were raving about how I should try them all, and it was an ordeal just to round up a few of the bottles. Needless to say I didn't get to try all the flavours, but I'm super sensitive to spice and even the extra-mild flavour burned a bit. So there's a warning to those with a low spice threshold. The 4 star rating was solidified when I was realized how easy Nando's makes it to order over the phone and pick up. Supersuper convenient without any long lines or wait times. Nosh'n at Nandos I LOVE this place. I am addicted to the chicken. It is amazing. Their loyalty program is great. They even gave out coupons for a free 1/2 chicken because they had to close for slight remodeling and they wanted to thank customers for their patience. The service has always been efficient and friendly. I love the rice, chips and slaw too. I need to try the grilled corn which looks great. Nandos is great for dinner or quick lunch and is affordable and consistent in quality. read more

I was told recently Nandos is the luxury version of Kentucky Fried Chicken. As it is so popular, you normally have to wait a couple of minutes before getting placed. To order, you have to go to the bar. There is an extensive selection of different chicken choices. I normally go for the 10 chicken wings, sweet corn and fries. You can refill your drinks as many times as you want and to spice it up you can choose between a mild, medium and hot sauce (seriously very hot). My local Nando's, I suppose there isn't a ton of room for criticism. They dish up familiar food at the same price as the other shops around town. I am a lover of Nando's so I can't really complain about their delivery of my usual (chicken thighs with hot marinade, chips and salad). The last few times I have been here, it's been rather under-staffed and, as a result, I have had to ask to restock cutlery/serviettes/sauces in the downstairs station where they are offered. Also all of the soda fountains downstairs were broken--I even had to go upstairs to get water. But what I do order I like a lot, which is the quarter flame grilled chicken with a side of corn n the cob and spicy rice. Everyone knows Nandos! If you don't (you must be new to London or a tourist)- it's a popular grilled chicken chain. You can get roast chicken from any of the nearby grocery stores, but they won't come with crispy skin or your choice of peri peri sauces! As I do not like spicy food I went for a Lemon&Herb which was perfect! You can also have medium or hot spicy with 3 or 4 other sauces on table ! The chicken is good quality. Chicken comes with a range of side: chips, rice, garlic bread, etc. as you prefer. You can have as many glass of sodas as you wish to. Went with my partner for lunch and ordered the Fino Platter to share between the 2 of us. OMG, this was way more food than we expected and for a great price. It included an entire chicken peri-peri style (which I still have no idea what that means but it was delicious), sweet potato fried, coleslaw, some mix with quinoa I think, chargrilled vegetables, and buttered corn. Obviously, the main portion (chicken) was delicious... I mean, I heard Nandos is known for their chicken and for good reason. My favorite sides were the coleslaw and the buttered corn... I am not a health nut yet I still liked the quinoa superfood mix. The only thing I didn't like was the roasted veggies... my partner didn't like them either. Service was OK.. you have to order at the cashier so busser/waiter interaction is pretty minimal. I want to try some of their wraps soon! read more

Service is horrible. You wait forever to get a table number even though the place is half empty. Then you have staff just standing around not taking your order and ignoring you. Which is rude! Food arrives late, butter has already melted and chicken is not hot anymore because nobody bothered to bring it over to the table. Why a place like Nandos even has queues? The food is half pre-cooked anyway. This is terrible place. There are a dozen better within a minutes walk. Olives are overpriced. Went again. Same story. They were late and gave my order to wrong table by which time it was too cold to eat. read more

The first time I visited this store I was amazed by the quality of the food and service. The staff and the Manager are really friendly and make your visit even more enjoyable. The ambiance was what you could expect from a place that takes orders at the counter (loudish, good for families) but I'm not entirely sure of the hype. My chicken sandwich was a little pink for me, and the appetizer wings we ordered came dead last. The spicy sauce was fun for sure, and I like the cheap large glasses of wine, £5. Nando's is one of my favourite family restaurants. If you have not heard of it there where have you been?! This place serves great Peri Peri Chicken from portugual. The Peri Peri marinade is quite spicy so be prepared, it comes in medium, hot and extra hot! For those with a sensitive stomach I advise trying medium first! However for those with a more sensitive palate there is also herb and a new mango marinade. I would also try the perinase dip, which is mayonnaise with peri peri flavour, which is fantastic for dipping chips. The only downside of Nandos is that it is normally not a very balanced meal as there are not many vegetables. If you are trying to be healthy you might want to order a side portion of salad! read more

Who doesn't like Nando's? It's like a banana, you know exactly what you're getting. Peri peri chicken of varying hotness, served with a selection of sides of your choosing. Chicken is always cooked well and served within 10 minutes. Drink refills are free as is the yogurt (if I remember correctly!) Try the sangria which isn't bad at all, a little costly though. Good portion sizes and cost is reasonable. For those who are adventurous, use plenty of extra extra hot sauce! read more

Nandos is such a great alternative to other restaurants in london because you order your food like you are in a pub and pay before rather than after you eat which means you avoid all the waiting for the waiter to catch your eye to order, having to wait for the waiter to come over then wait for the food etc. i prefer it that way anyway! plus you know exactly how much your meal is before you eat it- so no need to worry you wont have enough cash! The chicken is great, quarters or halves of chicken i find a bit greasy so i normally go for a burger or salad instead, still very tasty. and I'm very pleased to say they have expanded their vegetarian selection!!! I loved Nando's when I first went here in 2003! Now Nando's really was finger licking good chicken and at a good price. However the novelty of the place has gradually worn off. The fact you see one not on every high street has made it a bit like Pizza Express. I'm not a fan of spices so stick with the Lemon & Herb sauce on my chicken. Their chips are good and the mango drink is amazing. Some of you might not know you can buy some of the spicy sauces in your local supermarkets. I ordered a chicken salad and it was a miniscule portion of flavourless chicken and awful vinegary dressing. I was still so hungry I finished off my toddler daughter's meal (she had more chicken!). Really angry when the waitress walked off and ignored me when I politely complained. Tired branch decor wise and they should look after customers given how much new restaurant competition there is in that area. We've noticed quality and portion sizes going down in the last few years, making this Nandos now seem over-priced and tired. Very disappointed. read more
