My friend got the chips and they turned out amazing with the peri peri sauces (the wild herb peri peri). I found the medium peri peri sauce still a bit too spicy for me, but the herb peri peri was milder. The place was crowded and lively, I loved it!!! And the only downside is that I prefer Pepsi, but they only had coke. All together, a decent experience and if I fancy chicken and don't feel like having shish kebab, or Persian kabab, I'll go for the Nando's chicken :) It's a 3.5 star for me, because I'm just not so much into fast food or chains but it's just a personal preference, and Nando's still a really nice place. They do not take your order. You have to order and pay online from their menu. I think there was a QR code we had to scan. They then take the food to your table. Don't remember the full details of how it worked. It was 6 months ago that we were here, and my memory is not as good as it used to be. Sorry! Food tasted good as usual. That Peri Peri chicken that they make is so flavorful. Love trying all the different sauces to add even more flavor to the chicken!! For dessert, I bought 4 of their freshly made Natas. What are Natas? They are Portuguese custard tarts, and Nando's makes some fantastic ones!! I enjoyed my birthday meal at this Nando's. At one point we had six or seven of their sauces on our table because I tried combining different ones to make a spicy, or even appetizing one but none were good, which is a let down. The sauces are more on the tangy side. Garlic and Extra Hot were okay. Lemon & Herb is honestly terrible. Conveniently located across from King's Cross Station, the restaurant has a large layout spread over two floors. There was a line during my visit (approximately a 20-minute wait), and the bathrooms are located downstairs.

But what truly made the experience unforgettable were Jay and Shrenik. They were phenomenal -- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best first experience possible. We all had some variation of Chicken - the sides were all fantastic (yes, I'm looking at you Mac and Cheese), but what really won the day was the Peri-Peri seasoned French Fries. We didn't know what to expect, and ordered two sides of fries, one plain, one with the seasoning. You can guess which one everyone wanted.
