Lourdes (the owner) is an absolute doll and so easy to work with. She was very communicative from the start: she confirmed her availability for our date, sent a price list, answered our many questions, sent an invoice with all the items we ordered, and accepted the deposit payment via venmo. The next we connected was the week of and day of the venue confirming logistics. The day of went so smoothly! As someone 4 months pregnant running around to coordinate the rest of the party, it was so nice to have Lourdes come and set up so quickly and begin cooking right away. Then right at the scheduled time, our guests were served and absolutely loved everything they served! We had the fiesta package and chose the birria, shrimp, and Al pastor tacos - all of which were juicy and seasoned to perfection. We also ordered the bacon wrapped hot dogs and watermelon agua fresca which were to die for! The accompaniments were delicious as well - rice, pinto beans, pico de gallo, spicy red salsa, salsa verde, grilled Serrano peppers, grilled onions, and fresh diced onions. Everything was delicious and many of us came back for seconds and thirds. I also informed Lourdes that a few guests are diabetic (my mom included) and asked if they were ok with us providing some low carb tortillas and hot dog buns for those individuals and she said "of course!" It was so sweet of her and I know those guests (including the guests of honor) were so happy to have that as an option. Then cleanup was just as easy as when they arrived - we provided the containers, they packed up the leftovers for us, and cleaned up the entire set up without a trace. Last year I attended an event which utilized catering by Nando's Tacos Y Mas, and was impressed by the quality of the food and the presentation. So, when we were planning my son's college graduation party, I reached out to Lourdes who is one of the owners. We started communicating via email to discuss my wants and needs for the party. I am a perfectionist, so I had a plethora of questions throughout the process. Lourdes was always kind and accommodating by answering every question in detail, and putting my mind at ease. When Nando's arrived for the special day, they showed up in a branded catering truck, and had all the equipment and means necessary to host a fantastic event. They arrived early, and had everything set up on time when our guests began to arrive. It's obvious they know what they are doing! We purchased the taco package, which includes meat and vegetarian taco's, as well as unlimited quesadillas cooked to order. Since we had a lot of vegetarians attending, I also added on a salad and the strawberry limeade aqua fresca drink. The taco package came with homemade chips and salsa which were a huge hit with all my guests! Our guests told us they were so impressed by the quality and taste of the food, how amazing the homemade salsa is, and how delicious the strawberry limeade is! I am so happy that my mom friend referred me to Nando's Party Rentals & More for my baby shower! From the start, emailing Nando and Lourdes was great- Lourdes was quick at responding, and understanding of any back and forth we had. For instance, I emailed Lourdes to make sure their equipment could accommodate to the outside patio for the tacos- and she responded quickly. I also appreciate that they take a deposit down first and it can be made via Venmo etc. On the day of the party, everything worked out! They brought the chairs and tables first so we can set up for the party. And then they came an hour or two later to set up for the tacos. Which was a hit at the baby shower! I just had Nando andLourdes provide catering for 30 people at my backyard graduation party and my guests couldn't stop raving about the food. I will post pictures when I get them organized. They served four kinds of meat tacos + quesadillas + birria tacos. All the salsa and extras were homemade and provided fresh and in beautiful painted terracotta bowls. They made vegetarian pinto beans and rice for my vegetarian guests. I also had them make two agua frescas and esquites which were wonderful!
