Love this place!! I'm so glad we checked this out! It's cute & small, but the food was SO yummy!! My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy, which were flavorful, fluffy and just plain old good! I got eggs, toast and home fries, and I was just as impressed. My eggs were perfect as were my home fries- crispy but also soft, and with some kind of seasoning I couldn't get enough of. We also split two pancakes, which were equally impressive. I really loved that they had a tiny crunchy ring around then but they were still super fluffy. Aside from the food I can't stop describing, the service was just as great! Love a place that fees friendly and comfortable all at once. We cannot wait to go back!!! read more

This place was exactly what you want from a diner - simple breakfast food cooked perfect and served by some nice people. We had an omelette, toast, home fries, hash, French toast and eggs in our party and there was no disappointment. I can be picky and don't write reviews unless I think a place is great. I'm shocked by these ratings, but I guess when your the only diner in a tiny little town you don't bite the hand that feeds you. Just so everyone knows I go to N&P more often than I'd like because there isn't any option close to me. All I'm going to say is make sure you've got lots of time on your hands before you place an order, don't expect food that's anything more than average and expect to pay more for your meal. Did I mention you'll need to block off a couple hours for breakfast? This morning I'm searching yelp, to find an alternative to n&p even if it means driving farther and unfortunately I stumbled on them. read more

This is the first time visiting and all we can say is wow!! We drive by all of the time, but never took the time to stop in, and we are very glad we did. I ordered a simple western omelet and it was anything but. They used multi colored peppers instead of green and they still had a little bit of body to them, not all soggy. We also ordered the Hash-wich, and I am not a fan of sausage, and have never tried white sausage gravy, but this changed my mind. This was seriously amazing, Two pieces of texas toast, 2 eggs on a bed or corned beef and sauteed onions, smothered in cheddar cheese, and pour over the white sausage gravy, need I say more !!! Did I mention the home fries? They were crispy, and still soft in the middle and I think I tasted a hint of garlic. The best home fries I have ever had. The waitresses, one was the owner, were very friendly and made everyone feel at home. The cook/chef came out and delivered a few dishes and was equally as friendly. I saw many people hug the waitresses good-bye and people peeked in to the kitchen to say thanks and good-bye to the people in the kitchen. I look forward to going back soon !! read more

This place is fantastic! The coffee and food are phenomenal. They actually have real maple syrup(you have to pay extra. But who cares, better then not offering it at all!). The people are so incredibly friendly, fantastic customer service. You feel like you've walked in to someone's home with the way they treat you. Just passing through after a wilderness hunting trip, and stumbled on this place by chance. Can't say much for the architecture, but the staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. The biscuits and gravy were superb, there was the "hash wich". This was a monstrosity of breakfast deliciousness that puts all others to shame. A breakfast party in your mouth. Eh. This place will do if you're regular place is closed. Otherwise not really impressed. I had the sausage gravy. She had an omelette. The food was "eh". The service wasn't great. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I had OJ. Finished my juice and would have loved to have another but apparently the waitress didn't think I need it. Couldn't get here to even look our way. The couple at the next table had the same problem. The gentleman had to speak up quite loud to get the waitresses attention to get more coffee. And they could turn the heat up a little bit. This cafe was quaint and small, but despite the friendly staff, the hostess was either in her first day, or simply clueless. They do not accept any form of payment other than cash. I asked for a coke to go with my meal, and was handed a CAN of coke with a straw. The food took quite a while to arrive and when it finally did, it was over cooked and burned. The food was simply piled on the plate and was unappetizing in its appearance. I can honestly say that for two eggs, two slices of burned ham, two pieces of toast, and a VERY small portion (1/2 cup) of hash browns, $8.00 seemed a bit steep. I would never go back to this place and would recommend avoiding this cafe if you value good tasting food. read more
