We moved to Georgia less than a month ago and had a business trip pop up in less than 48 hours notice. So I get to scraping the plumbing of the internet for a local pet care giver. My pets are somewhat adjusted to walkers and caregivers, but its never an easy transition. Not only did Distinctive Petsitting keep it friendly throughout the entire process, they kept it very professional. As an offsite caterer, I know how important those initial questions are when setting up expectations with a new client. They nailed them all. as you have read here a few times already, they keep it flexible... I was scheduled to travel the day the lights went out at Delta and after a day at the airport, they completely understood, and added not one single fee for cancellation of the remaining visits. A convenience fee would have been completely fair, so I tipped the walker for the waste of time... The company sends a representative from the office to sit with you and your pets before the event to be sure everybody understands everything. For someone who has interviewed a few walkers in my day, and i don't want to have to feel like I need to put every valuable away while trusting my home and pets to a new stranger, and while the neighbor who has a teen may be ideal, Distinctive Petsitting will completely allow you to check this off the list and let you get on to whatever has you leaving town...

They came for a consultation to meet the cats and asked lots of questions so they knew where everything was, knew the cats routine, and were prepared in case of emergency. They sent us videos of the cats while we were gone to reassure us everything was ok, and left us notes of the details of each visit for us when we came back which were very cute. They were great with the cats and the cats were happy to have them visit and play. Reasonably priced. They went above and beyond expectations. Will continue to be a repeat customer.

I can't…read moresay enough good things about her and the quality of care she provided for our kitty while we were out of town for a week. I can honestly say that she went above and beyond. She had no problems with our home security system, did a great job caring for and cleaning after our cat and even brought in our mail. We have indoor and outdoor cameras as an additional safety precaution and while we didn't watch it on every visit what we did see and hear made us feel so grateful. She was warm and kind to our cat and clearly took the job seriously. My only regret is that we didn't tip more than we did. We will use this company again and hopefully always have the same pet sitter! I would recommend to anyone.

We brought another cat to do a check up and my cat burst a wound open and the vet said it's almost closing time so we're not doing anything and told us to do it are self leaving her bleeding in are bathroom. Not a Happy Customer…read more. Dropped my cat off for a teeth cleaning procedure. Got a call in the afternoon that he needed teeth pulled which added to the cost of the cleaning. $70 per tooth from the $275. I come by to pick him up in the afternoon. They give me my now 500 dollar bill...but whatever it is for my cat. As long he was treated well then it okay...well he was not treated well, being sent home with blood all over his foot, cat litter caked deep into his fur that it needed to be remove with scissors (Tail and rear area) and the cat carrier is covered in cat litter as well. The bear minimum they could have done is communicate that they cut his nails to bleeding. When I called back to ask them what the hell happened. They said they wouldn't let them clean him? And that he woke up and injuried his nail on the cage? First off the cat is under drugs and can bearly stand up let alone fight back... I mean how can you handle a small cat.. Second anytime something blood related not to deal with procedure itself should at least be communicated. So I call back and they say they are sorry and if there is anything they could do to make me feel better. Look it isn't about me feeling better, it is about my cat not able to stand on his foot like it is broken from being mishandled AND them not even telling me about it. I will be taking my cat elsewhere as I cannot trust them with the quality of care they provide. 100% look elsewhere.

That was her storage area of her basement. She says she tried to call or text to let me know she wanted to cancel. I did not get either a call or text. I cannot say what type of groomer she is as I did not meet her. She has tried to make it up to me.

Vixen, our 7 year old Doberman had never stayed at home while we've been away, we've always had her stay in someone's home so we weren't sure how she would do with only visits. When I asked for the dimensions, which is a very basic question for anyone in the pet boarding business , she just said she didn't have them and seemed irritated by me asking for more info. When I expressed my frustration, she hung up on me. I understand if you don't like the questions I ask or are busy, but to hang up on the customer is just plain unprofessional...I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
