Breakfast burrito, carne asada taco, carnitas taco, fried fish taco

OH MY YUM!!! Nantaco for breakfast is the right decision!! The breakfast burrito came lined with the yummiest fried cheese and pockets of delicious hash brown. The carne asada taco was incredible and the fried fish taco was easily one of the best fish tacos we've ever had. HIGHLY recommend breakfast at Nantaco!

NanTaco is a great place on a Monday night in January!

If you're on the Island of Nantucket & you're looking for a tasty taco on a Monday night, NanTaco is the place to be! My 3 shredded beef tacos & lime Jarritos made me happy & if you like being happy, stop by and give 'em a try!

Excellent tacos - I had the chorizo, carnitas and mushroom tacos. Very flavorful! Big tacos, filled with lots of meat/mushrooms and fast/friendly service. I will definitely be back!

Average tacos and guac. Exceptional chips. Not on the top 10 places to eat but a decent option if you need quick bite downtown.

Eight dollars for each taco, which are cold with very little meat and tortillas that seem like they came from Stop & Shop days ago.

Food was average and very pricey for what you get. portions were smaller than expected especially for a $22 burrito.

Great little hole in the wall place. Had taquitos which was just enough. Mostly takeout but a few tables are inside.

Incredibly bland or no decor. Storefront is as plain as the food. The service was okay to subpar. They were out of tamarindo agua fresca. They have nearly no vegetarian items. I asked for a simple burrito with only the base ingredients listed, and they still gave me a burrito with all kinds of vegetables including zucchini, onion, squash, and other random things not listed in the menu description. A lot of hassle to get the correct one made and that one wasn't very good either. The manager didn't care enough to come out to acknowledge, and the food took 30+ minutes to be served. They were busy but you can always send the server to give updates on food status. $3 for a tiny spoon of sour cream, which doesn't accompany the main entree we ordered (beef tacos). The men's restroom was atrociously filthy. Trash everywhere, piss on the seats and floor. Sticky floors. I don't recommend this spot. $62 with tax and tip. Take your money elsewhere.

Luckily, the food and the service were both very good and shows that they definitely want to put their best foot forward. You can tell that they've just opened in the sense that they were still working on the soda dispenser behind the bar and everybody was working on their communication skills between the front of the house and the kitchen. I had the guacamole and chips to start. It was mild and while not bland, usually I like it with a little more of a kick. But both the chips and the guacamole were fresh. I next had the steak fajitas for dinner. It was served with rice, refried beans and soft tortillas. One thing that I would hope that they would do is that almost every Mexican restaurant that serves fajitas has accompaniments such as shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and some kind of hot sauce to put on the fajitas as you wish. Having said that, the steak was extremely well seasoned and had plenty of peppers and onions as well. This is minor complaint in that, like I said, they have only been open 8 days and still have some kinks to work out until they get their bearings about them. I didn't get the bartender's name ( Cicillia? ), but you could definitely tell that this isn't her first restaurant job and was on the ball with making sure that I was well taken care of. I would definitely go back, especially once they get the hang of things. Their future looks bright as when I left, there wasn't a parking spot to be found and all of the tables were full with other customers. One thing that I would suggest is to bring some patience as it isn't for a lack of effort. Being Nantucket, is isn't as if the island has much for ethnic restaurants and it might take a while to get in the swing of things, but either way, I would not hesitate to come back.

Just a nice, artisan dish akin to something you'd get in New Bedford or Fall River. Fantastic. 5-Stars. Now their lobster roll. Imagine a hot dog, OK, and now imagine one of those little Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage links for size comparison. The volume of finely shredded lobster meat, that was also warm in that hot dog roll was smaller than the Jimmy Dean link. 0-Stars. My recommendations for a "good" lobster roll is to go anywhere else on island. I'd recommend Sayle's Seafood, The Nantucket Lobster Trap or Stubby's. In fact, I'd just stay clear of the Club Car altogether, it is one of those places for the self-focused New York / Miami new [vulgar] money jet-set that treat the island like their play-thing... you know, you see their empty beer cans in the morning around town. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

The service is always on point (Bridget always takes care of us--she's genuinely so nice), and the food never misses: the lobster Cobb salad is fresh, loaded, and perfectly balanced, and the croque madame is pure comfort (savory, cheesy, and even better with the egg). And don't sleep on dinner, Club Car turns it up even more, and their steak frites is the best!

Unfortunately we missed their $1 class from 3-5. The staff was super friendly. We checked wait time for a table. We were told about 45 min. My boyfriend went and stood online for cocktails. I was standing (and probably in the way of staff-there was no where really to go) right near a station where the waitresses were filling waters, I ask for two and they gladly handed them to me (even with a smile) We ended up securing two barstools on the rail, so we did end up telling them to take us off the list. We ordered the 1/2 lb shrimp cocktail and 1/2lb oysters. OMG! AMAZING! I'm not usually a huge oyster fan, these were delicious. They were shucking them right behind us. The shrimp were huge. I tried a pain killer. It was ok. I also had a puna cold, that hit the spot.
