Had oil change a few months ago. They tried various upsell techniques . A few days later many sensor lights on and brakes failing. I can't prove it was something they sabotaged, but I feel very certain it was. Had sensors reset by another shop and all is well. I have been sending my car here for years and they are more then reliable and truthful. They will only tell you things that can help your car. So if they recommend something's it's not to upscale it's most likely they see an issue and know more about the car, would like you to preserve it. I know this because I have had my car for 6 years and have only had maybe 3 major issues that they caught and even then were fairly inexpensive compared to what other auto services try to charge. They have maintained my job 105,000 plus mileage car and whenever I see or hear a problem they are right on it and make sure my car is good go. read more

I took my car in for an oil change. They told me my brake pads were shot and needed to be replaced ASAP. The car did have a lot of miles so it did not seem beyond the realm of possibility, so I had them do it. Then they called me into the garage and showed me oil dripping from the bottom of the engine. They said the oil pan needed to be pulled and a gasket replaced. Since I never had one drop of oil on my garage floor or driveway, that sounded like a scam. I said no, and then took my car to another garage to have it checked. The second garage said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my oil pan gasket that they could see. Be your own judge. Oh my god what happen to me. Took car in for ac leak. They called and quoted a price. I said ok fit it. Next day guy calls and said oh sorry tech was wrong. It will be extra 1000 dollars. I said no way. When I when to get car. They still wanted to charge me the original charge. A major fight happened. I said you can not charge people for something you did not fix. He said yes you can. My tech looked at it. Amazing maybe because they are redneck or maybe because they think seniors traget. Maybe un education people who think money rules service second. Had my father-in-laws A/C repaired, tire plugged and new battery installed on Thursday. Was happy with their work and prompt service so I took my Jeep back the next day for an oil change and to check a brake issue. All jobs were done right and as fast as they could get the parts delivered. Work was not cheap and I might have been able to save a couple bucks if I shopped around, but why? As long as the work is done right and I don't feel ripped off, in this day and age, I'm happy. read more

I took my 2004 Lexus to this repair shop because air conditioner wasn't sending out cold air. It was discovered there was a leak but couldn't determine exactly where. So they inserted a dye pack and recharged unit. The dye would eventually show where the leak was. At the time of my appointment it was discovered my rack and pinion was malfunctioning causing the steel belting on my two front tires to become exposed. I made an appointment for repair. They took me home after delivering my vehicle and picked me up later in the day when my repair was completed for the exact amount I was quoted. Everyone was extremely courteous. Being a single woman I'm always a little weary but I found this repair shop grat and will use them in the future.Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I wish i could give negative stars for this scam shop. Incompetent "mechanics" tried to scam my elderly mother. They got away wtith it the first 2 time but I was in town the third time and caught them red handed. They intentionally "rig" things to look broken then try to charge elderly people for the repairs. My mother paid them $1800 and $2100 for things that magically broke when she went in for a routine oil change on a 4 yr old car. They sold her a new battery when the old one was only 2 months old. How can hoses be unhooked immediately after a normal oil change? That then require thousands in other repairs they try to charge her for. Mysteriously her car needs even more repairs only a week after having it there. They intentionally unhook things so you have to bring your car back for yet more work. scam artists read more

Took my 1998 Ford Ranger XLT standard shift truck to check transmission before starting a long trip. Was told I need a new clutch and truck would not make it for a long journey. I went up to Ford of Ocala to verify the issue and was not charged for the checkup and advised the clutch had many thousand miles left on it. This repair shop is in the center of large retirement communities and they feel ripping seniors off is just ok. Will never again go to that shop. read more

My 88 year old mother went to have the hatch lock fixed in her minivan and they wanted to charge her $200.00 in labor because they said they were not sure how long it would take. I looked it up on youtube and my husband did it in 15 minutes. She had taken her car there before and I thought it sounded like she was being taken. Wish I had looked on here sooner. read more

Service writer ignorant - brought in truck for an oil change and the mechanic found a leaking brake line. The service writer, Doug, informs me that I have two choices (1) the truck can only leave the property by tow truck (2) they can fix it there. He hadn't even gone to the effort to get a price for the repair. I ask the obvious and he calculates the repair at $250. I now have no confidence in Doug and this Napa shop so I tell him I will have the truck picked up with a car dolly later in the day. He then proceeds to inform me that if I don't have it picked up by 2PM closing time the truck will be locked in the shop until Monday. Seriously!? I ask him for a copy of the Florida law that allows him to impound my truck. Doug replies. "I don't know." The adds, "Call the Sheriff and ask him when he gets here." At this point my head is spinning with confusion. To make a painfully long story short Doug makes several calls. A handwritten note on the oil change receipt states we agree to have the vehicle towed and must sign it. Now we are waiting for the the Sheriff to arrive and write a report. It turns out a deputy calls him back has a discussion about the issue and ultimately tells him not to call the Sheriff with an issue like this again. I took possession of the truck a short time later. I don't know about you folks but that was the most bass-ackwards situation I have ever encountered at an automotive service center. read more
