He acted like I was bothering him. Asked me if I just needed a standard bulb. I said I assume so. He walked out to check never saying anything to me. He opened the hood, slapped the car and said you have a coolant leak I can smell it. He never once made eye contact. We walked back in and that was it. So off putting. I've heard that they have great customer service here but not that day. So I make an appt. to take my car in to check for a coolant leak. Had to arrange a ride. They called and told me my coolant was fine and there was NO leak. Maybe he shouldn't have assumed he knew what he was talking about. I took my car in for nothing. And if he had phrased it differently like maybe I should have it checked I wouldn't be so upset about it. He stayed it as fact. I am a customer and not an auto tech. That's what they are for.Just a horrible experience.

And I was told that the part had not even been ordered until just moments before When my mechanic called to check on it!!!!! So they took my $$$. Didn't order - LIED to my mechanic and said "delay". Well when I left the message the employee said "If the manager does not call you back during normal hours Monday, call him)!!!! I was pissed and said what do you mean if he doesn't call me back???? That would be bad business practice ! My mechanic called again and got approval for me to get my money for part & shipping. I went in today (Mon Jan 9th at 1:45pm). And guess what? No manager had called me yet!!!!!! But there was a invoice taped to a register and confirmed who I was and eventually I got my refund. I told the employee at the desk that the fact that the Manager - Matt had not called me and I was upset. He then told me that the employee that took the message likely didn't want to get into trouble himself and probably did not give the message to the manager !!!!!! Well then, why was my invoice taped to a register? And why was the manager not called to speak to me???!!!!! I had no choice but to buy one of there alternators and battery due to being broke down on the side of the road. I made it to the next exit to the Elma and went to the o Reilly where I had them test the alternator. This all happened on a Sunday close to everything closing. O Reilly's tested and confirmed what I thought, bad alternator. Took me forever to change with minimal tools. Complete the job far after there closing and I still had a bad alternator. The alternator napa sold me was bad according to the shop I had to take it to. Napa ended up costing me 200$ for the transport to the shop,150 for motel across the street, and 500 for the shop because they had to do the same job I did to replace Napa's bad part. Stay far away from all Napa's in the area. They inexperienced idiots and extra 850$ on top of the 450$ they charged me. You want bad rebuilt parts go ahead. Me I praise O Reilly's and there staff. I will drive 40 minutes from my house in Port Angeles to shop their store and get ideas how Im going to solve problems on the boat, tractor, trucks and cars I maintain. I have ever found the staff to be rude or dismissive, maybe you were being a problem and disruptive. I have found with my company difficult people just have to win, Especially when they are wrong.
