About two or so weeks ago I ordered this at the $3.49 price and now somehow it's magically morphed up to $6.99-- Even though $3.49 is STILL listed on the web as the NAPA click-through price...they won't honor the original price...dude says it will be $4.83 in 3 weeks...and that I should be happy about that...told them to shine the whole thing. Oh--and you CANNOT order it for pick up OR have it shipped your house because it's a "hazardous material" only THEY can order it for you and, apparently--never at the advertised price. UPDATE: Owner says to do feedback online via email, But I haven't heard from anybody...UPDATE: A case was created and just randomly closed without any resolution or customer contact being made. So giving feedback, positive or negative--is fairly useless. read more

I was driving down Highway 212 today and it started to rain turned on my windshield wiper and it literally flew off of the arm of the wiper. Drove to Napa in clackamas they sold me over $60 worth of windshield wipers and then would not help me put them on my car in the rain shower. what has happened to customer service !!! luckily my nephew Jim fisher of fisher family motors was willing to help. Unparalleled customer service! I visited to pick up some new windshield wiper blades for my car, installed them in the parking lot, and drove off. I was very disappointed to find that the driver's side wiper didn't wipe the rain away, but smeared it in wide streak. I drove back, and exchanged the blade for another, only to find the same problem (they were both worse than the old wipers I was replacing). When returning the second, the very kind person working the counter grabbed a much more expensive blade from the shelf, opened it, handed it to me, and asked me to try it on my car. I tried it, and it worked perfectly, so I went back inside to pay the difference. The same person working behind the counter adjusted the price down to what I paid for the first blade, and apologized for me having to come back so many times to get the issue resolved. This was completely unexpected, completely unnecessary, but hugely appreciated. Napa also has a HUGE selection of tools available for order from their extensive catalog if you're in need of a specialized tool. read more

What a rip-off. I looked up my alternator online and found it was about $75 at all the stores, but it was $59.95 at United Battery, which is my favorite place for anything Auto-Electric. Problem was my truck and I were in Clackamas and a pal offered to help my swap it out at lunch, so I went to NAPA. The online price there was $74.70 - reasonable. When I get to the shop, after taking the alt. out at work and having my pal drive me there, the fellow behind the counter informs me it is $110, because they only carry the premium life time warranty alt. in store. Where I come from we call that BAIT AND SWITCH plain and simple. There are too many places to shop for auto parts for me to ever shop a dishonest shop like NAPA. read more

When in about 1130 asked for the code reader I'll lady gave it to me explain how it used perfectly fine. I go back in say I have some codes. He proceeded to look at me with a dismissive look, (I just took that as he didn't want to do that portion of his job)and said "look them up online figure how you need to fix them."I look OK I said. He backed away from the counter and again said" yup that's all you do look them up online". Did not even try or attempt to perform any customer service. I would've thought that this man would want to print some forms out and try to sell me something. I mean I came into the store to fix what is broken and he's not interested in making a sale. The people are friendly, however service is pretty slow. Don't expect a quick checkout. Prices seem to be ok, it's convenient to where I live, and they usually have what I've needed. Bought windshield wiper blades. They installed, which I appreciated. The reason I rate this 1 star is because of an employee, not the company. I had a coat with a faux fur trimmed hood on. When guiding me on the quality of wiper blades, the middle-aged, slightly overweight guy with brown hair looked at me and said, "You look rich, so let's start with the most expensive ones." Throughout the whole transaction he continually made insulting remarks alluding to me having lots of money, even when I said I was just of of school and no, was not rolling in money. In addition, I also had the distinct impression he was hitting on me. I was relieved to get in my car and leave. I won't go back to this NAPA because of this guy. I will shop at NAPA again, just a different one. read more

I try to buy locally whenever possible but will have to return to Amazon for convenience and reliability when buying online. Placed an online order for oil and filter with NAPA on a Friday. A week later, received no notification that my confirmed order had arrived. Called the store, gave them my confirmation number, and was told after a very long pause that my order was ready for pickup. Dropped by the store the next day only to be told, after a very long search, that they couldn't locate my order. I told the clerk that I planned to walk unless they could come up with a solution to the problem (like offering to ship my order to my home without charge, or pulling the order from the shelf), but no, nothing. Not one solution to avoid loosing a good customer, which is exactly what has happened. If you like NAPA, shop their stores but don't rely on their online order system. Corporate may be interested to know they lost an $85 sale. read more

Napa has terrible customer service! I bought a caliper online and had it shipped to the local Napa store. When I tried to return the core they said they did not know how to refund the core charge! They said they would find out how to do it. I returned twice during the following week only to be told they could not find out how to do it. I emailed the corporate office and they said someone would follow up in the next two days. Nothing. I will never shop their again. read more

I took the day off today to replace my FRONT brake pads and rotors. I had everything purchased by 10:30 and wanted to be done early enough to pick up my daughter after school. Imagine how pissed off I was when I got home, pulled the wheel, and caliper, prepped the new rotor, and realized it was NOT the same as the one on my car. That's due to the fact that I was sold a REAR rotor to go with my front brake pads! After calling the store to make sure they had the rotors I needed, I had to put my wheel back on and drive back to the store. I basically lost an hour. If they hadn't of knocked 20 bucks off for the inconvenience this would absolutely be a 1 star rating. Do yourself a favor, make sure you get what you asked for (before you take your wheel off). read more

Tried the curbside pickup here at this Napa with my fiancé and when we got there I called like I'm supposed to. "Rodney" or "Ronny" answered and helped me out. First he asked me where I was parked. I proceeded to tell him I was off to the side at the very end of parking and which then he asked if I could move because he didn't have a jacket and didn't want to get wet..I was a little shocked but whatever, I moved by the front door. Maybe Rodney was having a bad day already but when he brought the stuff to my car on the passenger side with my fiancé he handed her an oil filter and 1 quart of oil very fastly and didn't even give her time to set that down and he proceed to then drop a 5qt jug of oil onto her leg. I tried to grab his attention As he was walking away, I tried then hollering at him to come back which he then stopped where he was and said "what". I asked him if he was serious and why he did that. No apology or words from this man whatsoever, just kept walking away didn't even want to listen. After this I called and told the manager which he seemed stunned as well, from what I could here. So curbside pickup here seems iffy unfortunately. I won't be doing that ever again, very bad customer service. read more
