Dad took the Volkswagen in for it's appointment to be repaired. Dad, not having an immediate ride home, was offered a ride home by Mark. He took Dad all the way home! Granted this is Silverton, and not exactly a thriving metropolis of houses, cars etc. but it was about 1-2 miles away from the shop. They kept Dad informed all the way through the repair process. There was a delay due to some parts being damaged in transit, but Dad was kept updated on the progess of his car the entire time. When the car was ready for Dad to come and pick up, Mark Holland once again, showed up at Dad's house to give him a ride to the shop to pick up his car! This kind of customer service is refreshing! The next reason the Wilsonville branch ranks the best is the TEN STAR driver lounge (they advertise it as a FIVE STAR but it is way better than that). Air-conditioning, laundry, Wi-Fi, showers, billiards, satellite television, kitchen facilities, many comfortable chairs, this is the best, bar none, that I have ever experienced. That only left me with 40 minutes to get a battery and get it put in. I got back, and Adam again stresses how they have to be out at 4pm. Makes me beg and plead for a few extra minutes to try and get this truck started to avoid a $500 tow bill. This guy is a super douche. No communication for weeks! Then hassles me over a couple minutes! I was out the gate by 4:02. Wish I could go back in time to avoid this jerk. He may be a good mechanic, but is not a good businessman. But this is a truck place, and not only a truck place, but a diesel truck place. The mechanics have stubby fingers and grease stained coveralls. The place stinks of big powerful engines and oversized brakes. You don't greet a service manager warring a suit or wait in a room with popcorn and TV. You aren't told that to change your flat you need a 99.00 diagnosis ... and they don't hand you a slip of paper when they give you the bill saying they filled your widow wiper fluid, "have a great day." They just fix diesel trucks. I don't know whether they are smart enough to rip you off, wouldn't take much smarts with me, or whether they are just smitten with integrity, superb professionalism, and an honest work ethic. I kind of believe the latter. I love my 2005 cummins dodge. I love Advanced Diesel.
