Milex Complete Auto Care - Mr. Transmission

Very bad communicators. Had my car for 3 weeks and the day of being ready kept changing every…read moresingle day. There was zero reason to have it that long, and there were no updates from these guys, I had to call every day, multiple times per day. I kept being told they would give me a call back, which never happened. They ordered a part for me and it got sent to the wrong store, because they have 3 names: Milex, Mr. transmission, and also Protech. Too much room for confusion, too much miscommunication. I would never take my car there again, and the owner (Bob) needs to retire and stop being creepy toward women. He's made multiple remarks about my mother that are extremely uncomfortable and creepy as hell.

Highly Recommend!! Wish I could add another star…read more The Buick Dealership in Beaverton told me I needed to replace the transmission in my Lacrosse for $4,100. When I asked what was wrong, they told me they did not know for sure, but something broke inside and it needed replacement. I asked about rebuilding and they don't do it because there is not much difference in cost. I am not an idiot, so I pulled it out and on to Yelp I went to find a place for a second opinion. That is when I went on Yelp and found Milex Mr Transmission (Based on the positive reviews) and called. I talked to Bob who explained many times there are issues with transmissions that can be fixed without replacing or rebuilding. He let me know if it did need to be rebuilt he would be able to give me a cap on how much it could cost which he was confident would be much less than the $4,100 the Buick Dealership wanted. So I brought the car in an took a test drive with a mechanic. He immediately (Before we pulled out of the parking lot) told me the bearings in my front left hub were bad and was causing the noise and sluggish feeling the car had. He said the transmission was shifting fine. He recommended that we replace the hub and it more than likely is all the car needed. Guess what, they replaced the hub for a few hundred $$ and it purrs like a kitten. I never needed to replace the transmission like the Buick Dealership in Beaverton told me I needed. Bottom line, Bob and his team have demonstrated the honesty and integrity you would hope to find in a repair shop. The Buick Dealership on the other hand could learn a lot from Bob and his team about how to run an honest business with great quality work. Thank you Bob!

Inside Theft and Management Cover-Up - Avoid This Service Department…read more DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP WITH YOUR VEHICLE OR POSSESSIONS. I brought my vehicle to Dick's CDRJ in Wilsonville for repairs, and it resulted in $1,594 worth of possessions being stolen from inside their service center, followed by an intentional cover-up by their lead technician. The Facts: 1. The Lie: The morning after dropping off my vehicle, the lead service tech (Kevin) explained my vehicle had been broken into in the outdoor parking lot overnight. He pointed out planted cigarette ash on the passenger seat as "proof." 2. The Refusal: Because it was framed as an outdoor parking lot incident, the service manager (Krysta) immediately refused to reimburse me for the $1,594 in stolen items. 3. The Dash Cam Proof: When I picked up my vehicle, I reviewed my dash cam footage. The video explicitly proved that my vehicle never left the indoor service bay. The entire "parking lot break-in" was completely fabricated by the staff. Kevin even unplugged my camera once he realized it was there, which ironically locked the video loop and preserved the exact footage I needed. 4. Management's Response: I bypassed the service department and sent the undeniable video evidence directly to the General Manager (Ryan). Only when faced with explicit video proof did the dealership finally agree to reimburse me for the stolen items. The Bottom Line: Two months later, my vehicle needed service again. I called to verify if the technician who fabricated the break-in had been terminated. Kevin is still actively employed there. If management is willing to retain a lead technician who explicitly covers up internal theft and lies to customers, your vehicle and belongings are not safe there. Take your business to an honest, independent shop instead.

Anthony asked for payment in full and he would run into the parts store to buy the part needed. It took a couple of days for the part to come in. On Saturday - Anthony came out again to work on the car to install the new part. After about an hour he stated a cable snapped and would need to be replaced. Anthony said the Napa store had the part. He was suppose to pick it up and come right back. He never did! I've tried calling for 3 days, but Anthony never called back to finish the job. I've had to hire another mechanic to come out to finish the job. Be warned - Anthony will rip you off. I hope no one else gets ripped off like I did. I would not recommend this business. A police report was filled out, and the Sheriff's office will follow up. Maybe a few months in jail will change his mind.

Unfortunately I did not see this previous Yelp review when I found Anthony's business for mobile auto service for my mother of senior age. She established a trusting relationship with him and contacted him for service on a few occasions, where he completed service and charged her credit card. After taking on an extra job for her of pressure washing her driveway, he had apparently stored her credit card information in his billing system and charged her over $4,000 in unauthorized charges. After discovering these charges we attempted to contact him, and now both numbers are no longer in service. We have reported the fraudulent activity and working to remove the charges, but this is a prime example of a sleazeball taking advantage of a senior and running up charges. Sad life choice, Anthony!
