I told her what I needed and she told me she would sell me the battery but it was too difficult for Auto Zone to put in and that I would have to do it myself. She said she would be happy to loan me the tools. I have used this store for years and always friendly and helpful in the past. Apparently, she was just too lazy. As a veteran I have always appreciated them as they give a discount for veterans. I left not happy at all and went to O'Reilly and the sales person was very helpful. He was personable and put the new battery in within 5 minutes. Not at all difficult. The lady at Auto Zone, I guess, did not want to get her hands dirty or just pure lazy. I probably paid more at O'Reilly's and no vet discount but got great customer service. If I could give Auto Zone on Conway Road zero stars I would. I love to give positive reviews but this time I could not find one thing to be positive about.

However, the inspector warned that the car was unsafe to drive due to the risk of carbon monoxide leaking inside. We scheduled a repair start and end date, but the deadline kept getting delayed. The shop held the car for an entire month, and when we finally got it back, the results were unacceptable. The car sounded like a lawnmower, the housing that secures the rear bumper was broken, and I can easily pull the bumper back from wheel well. There were also duct tape residue marks and visible overspray. Initially, I assumed they had installed a cheap muffler because of the horrible sound. In reality, the flange connecting the pipe to the muffler had no gasket. When I checked, I can feel the exhaust pouring out of the joint, explaining the noise and, more importantly, creating a serious risk of carbon monoxide ent the cabin. This was the very danger they warned us about initially. I only discovered this issue once my son drove the car back to NY from Fla. Had I known the shop returned the vehicle in such a hazardous condition, I would never have allowed him to drive it.

What was really amazing is that they offer to call you a minimum of twice a week to give you an update while your car is going through the repairs. Wow! What fantastic service! As far is the quality of the workmanship, they have a discerning I, as though they were working on there very own personal cars. They even insisted on fixing something on my mothers car that had been done incorrectly buy the other repair company, which is pretty phenomenal. All was done in a reasonable time frame and with updates. Could not have been happier with the service and workmanship! TL/dr: Boo-boo's auto bodies worked on well!

I had a nail in my tire and I arrived at 5:45 pm and by 6:00 pm I was able to drive safe to my house. I had stopped during my lunch hour and asked DJ the manager, if I could come back after work. They close at 6:00 pm, but he said that they would wait for me. I had called other places, but they refused to help me because of the time. Not DJ, he even called me and let me know that he had reserved the tire for me and that Abdul would wait for me to install the tire. If I had gone home with that tire, I would have had a flat in the morning and it would have been hard to get it fix and be at work at 7:30am. They were my angels. I came in the next morning for the appointment where I was greeted by Trevor. He informed me that I did not have an appointment. I showed him my call history and told him that I called the day before and made an appointment. He said that it wasn't their phone number, so I showed him on google where it is the phone number connected to his location. He seemed inconvenienced to accommodate me, but agreed to fit me in. About an hour later, I received a phone call where Trevor told me that I needed a brake fluid flush, a coolant flush, and a spark plug tuneup. I told him that I just had my brakes replaced and just got a new engine with new spark plugs. He continued to advise me that I needed these services and specifically told me that my brake fluid failed a test of some kind. I called the people who replaced my brakes, and they assured me that I did not need a brake fluid flush. I confirmed that my dealership did a coolant flush and replaced the spark plugs. I tried to call back but was left on hold, so I hung up and returned to the dealership. I told Trevor that I had confirmed that my car doesn't actually need any of the services he said I needed, and he rather snarkily responded "it was a simple recommendation based on the mileage." My impression of this interaction was that this Firestone location was actively trying to sell me unnecessary services either 1) knowing that I didn't need them or 2) without confirming that I did need them. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning to this location.

I believe it went into the wheel well and bounced off and damaged, my bumper, my fender and my rims. Initially, the girl that answered the phone was very sweet and kind and said that I would get an estimate with it. 48 hours. It was more than a week without receiving an estimate and I contacted them a couple of times after. They did contact me twice afterwards, but I had already gotten it taken care of. It seems like a really nice place but the contact was not enough for me and the estimate was over $5000! Granted, it was just an estimate and they did not physically see the car this was based on photos, but nonetheless, it was way too long for me. My Lexus dealership recommended this place but if you have time to wait around, then maybe it's beneficial but for me with two small children, I need my car to be in safe working order.

We came back after exactly an hour and the car still hadn't been moved. We ended up having to wait another 35 minutes before we got the car back. They told me they would do an alignment check as well which was never done. I had a similar experience with this shop when I purchased the tires 6 months ago. I was happy with the price I got the tires for, but the service was slow. Last time, they took over 90 minutes longer than the promised time. I get it. Sometimes things get busy...but I have given them two chances now and both times I was disappointed. Don't plan on getting anything done quick here. If you are dropping off, then it may be fine. But if you are needing something done and don't have the ability to drop-off, plan for a good chunk of your day to be consumed and don't trust the given timelines. Hopefully they can improve the accuracy of their time estimates or better prioritize their customers to ensure better customer service.
