They came up with a list of recommended repairs of over $2,500.00. I took the car home and within 5 minutes I found the probable cause of the issue and watched the repair procedure on YouTube. Using the information I found on YouTube I proceeded to complete the repair myself in under 10 minutes for less than $12.00. As you can see in the attached photos the issue was a rubber washer that fell apart and simply needed to be replaced. Had they even bothered to look in the floorboard of my car they would have seen the fragments of the green washer as I did when I took the car home.
