He is a super nice guy and equipped with his lifetime of experience working in cars, obviously knows what he's doing. I was in a sticky spot this week, because my BMW got a flat. Russ' is close enough to my home that I could get there without damaging the rim. He doesn't have BMW tires stocked at the shop and I told him I'd love not to spend an arm and a leg having to tow it, so he took the tire off for me so that I could take it to get it replaced, bring it back to him, and he'd put it back on for me. What a guy! Doing it this way might seem inconvenient, but when you have all the time and but small budget margins, this is the guy I need in my life! He also threw some air in my tires earlier this year on the house, 'cause he rocks. I love having Russ' Auto two blocks from my house. After dropping it off, I received a text with the estimate and okayed it right then and there. I needed a new hose/ ac system. I loved this easy way of communication. It was expensive, but after comparing prices with other spots and doing my research, it was a bit less than what others have been charged for the same. It was ready the next day, and it was so nice to have a fully working ac in the heat again. I've had no issues since. So, I scheduled an appointment for Thursday. However, the person I spoke with had a really unpleasant attitude. He kept questioning whether I had the right place, repeating, "We're Big Bend Auto Center, not the other Big Bend Auto store." Why would I be calling if I wasn't sure? It came off as condescending. Then he told me I couldn't wait for my car, and when I asked again--just to clarify if I could wait while they did the estimate--he rudely said no. At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. If you can't treat your customers with basic respect, why would I trust you with my car? When I looked at him confused because they BOTH were just standing around, he threw his hands in the air like I was the idiot. Funny thing, I just went to autozone, they also only had two people working, a line at the register, and they still had NO ISSUE helping me. Plus the Seafoam was on sale - Orielly just lost a customer, and a brand new battery sale.
