I was dead set on getting a burrito with birria from a particular food truck and began my hunt. I couldn't find that food truck, so I had to tap my memory and quickly! I remembered seeing this truck being parked near the Costco so I headed to it. I'm so glad I did because they happened to have birria on the menu. I asked if they could make me a burrito with birria and he said yes. $16 later, I was in burrito heaven. Man, that burrito was packed with so much flavor, it was flat out delicious. I was able to eat it over the course of three days and it never dissappointed. Merely writing this review is making my mouth water! I will return for another birria burrito. The man and I were desperate for some food after a long drive. After seeing the amount of stars on Yelp, we thought we would give it a try. We went with the Al Pastor burrito $13 and $15 chicken quesadilla. My rice and beans lacked flavor!! Seriously, they taste like nothing. As for my quesadilla, beyond disappointing. They put my quesadilla right on top of my beans and sour cream. Way overpriced!! No flavor and a very small amount of meat. He did give me two tiny little containers of salsa, which u used up just for half of my good. Maybe I ordered the wrong food that received 4.5 stars?! Bummer!! I work nearby and was always curious about this truck. Today my wife decided she would come have lunch with me and I told her we should get some tacos from here. I had al pastor & lengua and she had carne asada. We loved every bite! My wife is usually very picky with her carne asada but she loved it here. It was just awful. I ordered one vegetarian taco, cheese quesadilla, shredded beef burrito and a sangria non-alcoholic beverage and it came out to $27.54! Not only is that just ridiculously pricy but my quesadilla was smothered in sour cream and I asked for none to be put on it, and it had way TOO MUCH CHEESE! This is coming from a person who loves cheese deeply and loves a lot all the time! And my vegetarian taco was so bland and it was pretty much just a corn tortilla with a large amount of"Mexican rice" and lettuce. Then my husband said his burrito was mostly"Mexican rice" and the shredded beef had a ton of gristle fatty pieces. I would understand if it was delicious and priced at this price but it's terrible. Also the man that I talk to who took my order apparently was the owner and the person who made my food was his wife and I do have to say he was very nice and he was telling me how they've been running the truck for 10 years! and I'm thinking to myself I don't know how you guys have lasted 10 days let alone ten years. I'd give this 10 stars if I could! Having decided a week before that I wanted to have a catered birthday party for my dad, Chris couldn't have been more accommodating! I knew I wanted authentic, fresh and TASTY Mexican and I knew I didn't want to do any work! I called Chris and we talked about a possible menu. I jokingly said, "Wow - it would be so cool to have the truck there" to which Chris said, "We can!!" It turns out that for the cost of catering for 20-25 people, it was worth having the truck on site for a total COOL FACTOR! My guests got to go up - order what they wanted and Chris had even made us a special menu w/ ceviche, chips/guac/salsa, tortas, tacos, burritos, EVERYTHING!. All night everyone kept commenting how great the food was! It was certainly fresh, tasty and for even some of my self-proclaimed 'taco truck' junkies - it was the best they had! I was so pleased at how easy Chris made this for me and how enjoyable the party turned out to be that I've decided to make this an annual event. Nothing cooler than having a Taco Truck parked in your driveway and allowing your guests to have made-to-order Mexican!!! Definitely HIGHLY recommend.
