I brought a vintage Louis Vuitton tote with dried out and broken straps. Naperville cobbler quoted me around $100-125 to replace the Vachetta leather straps. As it turned out, I was able to buy the Vachetta leather straps and they stitched them on. They only charged me $40 which was great! They did a nice job so I'm bringing more vintage Louis Vuitton items for refurbishing. Nice gentleman at the counter and very knowledgeable too! Also, they do not take credit/debit cards. Went here a while ago to get a favorite pair of boots repaired. I had worn the heels down pretty badly and was worried that I would have to toss them. I stopped by this location thinking that I would have to drop my boots off and come back several days later once they were done with the repair. However the gentleman who helped me was very accommodating and told me that I could wait because it wouldn't take long for him to fix my boots at all. I was very happy that I wouldn't have to come back to pick them up. He actually fixed the boots right there while I waited (at no extra cost). I was quite pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the quality of his work. If the location wasn't so far from my home I would definitely come back again - especially after recently having a horrible experience at another shoe repair closer to my neck of the woods. read more

I am completely baffled by the terrible customer service at this place. The man at the shop is one of the rudest people I've encountered. I brought in pair of shoes that had small part of the leather ripped, and he mentioned he'd stitch it. When I picked it up, a patch was added behind it. I kindly asked whether this patch stays on or if I could take it off. He said, "well, ya, they were ripped, so that's the only way I could fix them.....if you want me to take it off, we can, and you can throw them away!" He literally said to THROW THEM AWAY. I replied saying, "I was only asking since you just mentioned stitching....if I wanted to throw my shoes away, I definitely wouldn't have brought them in."
