Do not do business here! I went into Advance Discount Auto Parts and was told I needed a new starter so I bought one. They recommended that I go next door to get it replaced. I go in next door and the man told me that they should be able to do it but to wait until his boss comes in. The boss comes in and ask me about my car. I tell him I just need it replaced. He tries to sell me a diagnostic when all I need is it replaced. He says he won't install what I just purchased and that I need to buy it from him. I ask him how much will it cost and that I have to try to return the one I just bought. He ask me how much I paid. I of course do not tell him as he will charge me that same price if not more. He then says like the brat he is "then I won't install it" and walks away. If you are a woman, young, and/or a minority do not come here. This man obviously has his biases and treats his customers accordingly. read more

I took my car to this place and had to wait three weeks for a used part ($680 including labor) that never fixed the problem June 2019. I kept calling the shop and spoke to Wes. He offered to lubricate the car; it did absolutely no good whatsoever. I kept calling and complaining that the car was still not fixed and I kept getting stranded in the car over the next few weeks, then months. I called again and again, leaving numerous messages that all went unanswered for the past four months! This place doesn't even deserve a 1 Star rating! Finally, I went to Anchor Motors (Bill) on 12/23/2019 who diagnosed the problem within two hours. I called Wes at Naples Auto & Truck to get either a (1) full refund, (2) partial refund; or (3) even the labor refunded. Wes refused and said he does not stand behind used parts. I went back to Bill at Anchor Motors, had the part sent overnight mail and installed the part for $340.40 on 12/24/2019 (that's the very next day folks!). The car runs perfect. Went in there to fix a very simple headlight bulb and even told the mechanic where to find the light bulb box on my car. The process took maybe 5 minutes. The man quoted $45 including tax. Afterwards when he finished he tried to get me to pay $67 plus tax. I told him no and asked him why he was trying to switch the price. He just started to argue that I shouldve known it would be $67. He is a loon. A real schemer. He said I was old enough to know he would charge more than he quoted originally. He didnt want to give me a receipt and when he knew I wasnt going to leave without one he gave me a receipt which stated i refused to pay "full price and tax". Meanwhile he pocketed my $45 cash and I hope the money I paid will be towards him buying a good lawyer because one day someone will sue him for bait and switch practices. But he probably only targets women because a man would fight him. He is trouble. He uses his workers in the scheme to say one price then after the work is done he tries to strong arm you for more money. Stay away!!! read more

I went to Naples Auto and Truck for my car that had blown fuses, electrical problems and battery concerns. I was informed by Wes, the owner, that I needed a sensor for $400. After giving the ok and numerous calls and texts, my car was ready to be picked up. My bill was 300??? How about the $400 part. I had a terrible experience with this business. The person working behind the counter said he was the owner. Interaction started out friendly enough. However, he asked if I would like to have my in cabin air filter changed (in addition to brakes, rotors, and oil change I was having done), and I said maybe, but that I would like to know how much it cost first. About and hour went by and I hadn't heard back about it so I asked how much and he said $52, and informed me that it had already been done. He showed me the old air filter and it was dirty. I'm not disputing that it should have been done, but I didn't have a chance to price it out, and I had specifically asked him to let me know how much it was going to be. I never argued about payment for it because $52 isn't worth it, but I did tell him that I wasn't happy that they had done it without asking. The owner didn't see the problem with what they had done and got indignant and told me that at his shop he takes care of vehicles how he sees fit. On top of that, the actual cost for the air filter change ended up being closer to $70. That's something that I would have chosen to wait on. Also, we are in the middle of a pandemic. The guy is standing behind the counter eating and drinking, touching his face and mouth. I asked him to use hand sanitizer before touching anything he was going to hand to me or any of my things he'd be touching. Again, he got very indignant and told me that he wasn't going to do that and that I could use it if I wanted. It was a simple and polite request. He was very disrespectful and I felt like during our entire interaction he was disrespectful. I strongly recommend taking your car somewhere else. There are a lot of great auto shops out there. I stopped into this one today out of convenience of location and I'm very sorry that I did. I don't spend my money anywhere where I'm treated that way as a customer or the owner can't take basic safety precautions. read more

Absolutely BY FAR the most honest shop I've seen in my life. I walked in there stressed and worried about my car issues, and even more worried that because i was a female and from out of state, they were going to completely try to rob me blind, as we all know that a lot of mechanics are like that. Not these guys! Family owned and they are honest to the core. The estimates that I received from 3 other places for my flywheel and something else related were between $895 and $1150. They charged me somewhere around $700. I don't recall exactly but it was much cheaper than others. They were all so helpful and nice and I was so extremely relieved that I found the. Their shop came highly recommend by a couple of people that I'd met at a restaurant down the street. I went into Naples auto and truck to have some tires I purchased else where installed. He told me to come on in and so I drove down and when I arrived he told me he could not squeeze me in until 3 o'clock. It was a manager named Justin I believe his name was. I felt he could have told me before I drove down there that they didn't have time. So 3 o'clock comes around and I return as per appointment and I was told again they could not squeeze me in. They told me to return the next day. The $20 I was saving I used in gas. I instead went down the block to regal tire and auto who quoted me $100 rather than $80 and got them installed immediately. They conduct business in a very unprofessional manner. A little common courtesy goes a long way. read more

Took my RV in this morning because I kept blowing brake fuses. They got me in right away, found the problem, and got me back on the road. Great guys, great service. Didn't try to sell me lots of other "needed" parts and labor. I'll definitely keep their number in my book! read more

I ended up taking my problem all the way to the BBB. Their resolve was to let them work on the car again! Why on earth would I have them touch my vehicle again? Especially when I am not allowed to watch. Plus they refused me when I went back originally. I needed a running vehicle, I had to have it fixed. How was I to get to work? The owner, Wesley, was rude, demanding & forceful with words. I only wish we would pull the taped recordings to show what REALLY happened. He actually doesn't remember how He spoke to me and what He said. Pointing his finger towards the door, Slamming parts on the counter, yelling for me to leave. Walking away when I calmly tried to speak about the issue. To worried about his lunch in the back, even though I had waited & waited myself up front. I was even kind enough to wait for his other customer to leave before bringing up the problems. They didn't uphold their warranty, of which I had a receipt and even after giving them a very easy resolve they refused and told me too late. Several days later, I had someone else fix it. What!?! Honestly What!?! I originally returned to them and they told me not now, come back tomorrow. The parts they replaced were subpar brand names (they lied). When I watched the parts being removed from another mechanic's store, I couldn't believe they did not use the brand parts we spoke about. Two other companies, one being GERMAIN was more than happy to correct the errors that they saw had been done to my car. Poor & exceptional rude service at Naples Auto & Truck. Its a shame b/c many years ago the same owner was respectful and kind. I don't know what happened in his life to cause such a volatile change but I would never trust nor recommend Naples Auto & Truck to anyone again. read more

I went to this shop to have some very basic work done. After supplying parts, work was not completed, and customer service was extremely poor. On 01/02/2015 I took my 1989 camaro to Naples Auto and Truck for a routine oil change, as well as having a radiator hose replaced. I was quoted 20$ for an oil change with my own parts. I then asked how much it would be with the hose. The young man behind the counter, blonde hair blue eyes 5'8", stated it would be 60$. As a mechanic myself, I then decide that 40$ more for labor is worth the convenience for the hose installation. Upon returning to the shop 30 minutes later, I'm confronted with an 80$ bill. I inquire and I'm then told that the HOSE was 60$, the oil change was 20. I am upset but I comply, perhaps this was an honest communications mistake. After paying 87.34$ via debit card on 01/02/2015 at 12:22:43 PM, I drive my car home approximately 5 miles to prepare for a lunch date. (This is why I didn't want to be greasy) As I'm driving my 1989 camaro, I'm alarmed at how low the oil pressure is. The car leaks about 1 quart of oil every month, however for a fresh 5 qt oil change, the oil pressure is much too low at 700 RPM idle. At home, I take a look at my dipstick (the part that goes into the engine and shows how much oil is in there) and it is short by about 1/2-3/4 of a quart of oil. I then look to the filter which was also supposed to be changed. The old filter was a K&N as was the new filter. The filter that is on my car at this time is greasy, something that is uncharacteristic of an out of the box, freshly purchased brand new filter. Upon seeing this evidence that my oil was not changed, I politely call the shop that I had just left and said that perhaps the mechanic did the hose, and just made an honest mistake not realizing that I had paid for an oil change as well. On the phone, the guy says "I'm not the one who helped you, but go ahead and come back and we'll take a look." I return to the shop. I point out to the young man 5'8" blonde hair blue eyes the things that point towards my oil not being changed. (Low oil level, dirty filter, low oil pressure) I say that I want to remain polite and suggest that it was perhaps an honest mistake. The young man insists that he watched the mechanic change the oil. I point out the discrepancies again and the young man changes the subject to other car products I might need to solve my problem. Every time I mention that a full 5 quarts of oil would fix the problem the young man immediately changes the subject to other car products. At this point I am preparing for a confrontation. As a mechanic I'm well aware that my oil was not changed, and that this shop took my 5 quarts of oil, K&N filter, and just kept the old oil in my car... and I paid for labor. At this point I drive away to consult advisers on the matter. After calling the bank as well as the duty officer of the local sheriffs department, I return to the shop for a third time. I say "I want to avoid a confrontation, I just want my oil changed." The blonde guy replies "Did you want to pay for it again?" I said "No, I want the oil change that I already paid for and gave you the parts for." He then replies "I don't have oil and filters just lying around here man." (This is odd, as the sign above the front door says "Oil Change Synthetic Blend 29.99") So I'm to believe that a place that advertises oil changes for 29.99 has no oil or oil filters in stock? Upon hearing this I then say, "look, you have 2 complaints with the better business bureau, I don't want to be a pain but I need my oil changed and I paid for it." I then also add that I'm prepared to call the sheriffs office if I must. The young man then replies "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave the property." This was an obvious scam. As a mechanic, the oil was not changed. As a customer, the bill was knowingly misstated to me. I paid 87.34$ for what should not have taken 1 hour at 80$/hr. For all I know, these people took my oil and filter, sold it to advanced auto next door, and I paid for it. read more
