So after the oil change I drove to the main location on Domestic to have the tire repaired. I was told that I would have to wait about an hour for them to get to it for repair. I had no problem since I drove in without an appointment. As I was sitting in the waiting room, I noticed how nice and professional they handled their customers. Well after about an hour the nice lady working the front called my name and apologized for me having to wait an hour. That the tech working on my tire could not find a leak !!-- that the whole problem was found when he put the valve stem cap back on and that is when he heard air coming out !! I had a bad valve stem cap !!! She apologized again and said "no charge" !!! I gave her some "cross Pennie's" I made for her young family. She just had another baby girl about a year ago. On November 5 2024 I visited European Auto Repair to investigate their honesty and Pricing. I have…read moremaintained my 2002 Boxster as my family business is car repair. I'm from out of state and my equipment was left behind so if I need someone else to do repairs that would be too cumbersome I want a place I could trust in the future. The alternator job was just a test, nothing wrong with my alternator. So you know the vehicle was not with me at that time. The first question I ask could they replace an alternator in my vehicle with the new one I purchased? his responded that Florida laws state that it is illegal for any service shop to perform repairs all items must be purchased exclusively by the shop and no work can be repaired with outside items. Not true, First lie. Check the status if you don't believe me. A shop can turn down work but it's not illegal. Second question, if the item was purchased through them how long would it take to install? His response is 4.5 hrs. So you know, to facilitate access to the alternator there is a face plate that must be removed. I told him I removed the face plate, which took all of 7 min. The actual job of replacing an alternator on a Boxster is easier than changing spark plugs. It is one of the simplest repairs to perform. It takes no more than 35 minutes to remove, It is only held in place by two bolts and 2 wires in the back. If one of the bolts is stuck it requires several light blows with a hammer to loosen which would add 5 minutes. Reinstall, and repeat the process in reverse. If this job was undertaken by the slowest mechanic in all of Naples with no Porsche knowledge they could do it in 2 hr and that is being extremely generous with the time allotment. So if you choose to use this repair shop you have been duly warned. Such a shame, I truly wanted to say good things and use the shop for the future, especially after reading other reviews. I don't know, maybe they do good work but you are paying an exorbitant amount. The search continues. Now to check with other shops hoping to have better luck. labor cost should not exceed 2 hrs not 4.5 hrs. This is a simple job. price for labor should be 220 to 250 ,no more.

Lower priced tire shops I talked to this afternoon said it would take 3.4 days to arrive in their shop. I can't wait 3 days as I am driving on a spare. I just left tire kingdom and only waited an hour. Six stations here and I noticed at least 8 employees all working a very good pace. I was greeted by yet another pleasant friendly employee named Gerard who was knowledgeable and professional and all the customers seemed satisfied and content. I am very impressed with how pleasant, helpful and professional with Tire Kingdom's customer service- Kudos to Ernie & Gerard!I highly recommend this retailer.

Because I had to replace a lot of suspension components…read more They did it in a really short amount of time which leads me to believe they only touched the front end toe. When an alignment is done you do all tires and you start with adjusting caster then you adjust camber and then toe. I understand that some cars stock you cannot adjust caster or camber. You can only adjust toe. and that's why I upgraded the suspension to coil-overs so that at least on the front end of my car, you can adjust the camber. which with the stock suspension, you cannot. After the alignment was done the car still does not want to drive straight. And when I look at the rear it doesn't even look like they touched it. And if they did do the rear they look like they're toed in. And my car still pulls. I asked for the alignment sheet and they said it was broken and they couldn't print the sheet. So I couldn't even know why my car is pulling. And the service rep said my lowering kit doesn't help. Like bruh I don't have a lowering kit I just upgraded to coil-overs that will keep stock ride height. And I upgraded from a. 205/60R16 tire to a 205/45R17. I asked if my car drives straight and I think the service rep said something but I didn't hear what was said since I have tinnitus. I think the service rep said either "still pulls a bit" or "you'll find out" something like that. Like I come in for an alignment because my car pulls and doesn't drive straight. When I left after the service rep said it was done the car still pulls and doesn't drive straight. 1 out of 5 stars. They had 1 job and it wasn't done right. The alignment they did will only get me so far before my tire probably explodes due to bad alignment. like why can't I just pay the service fee and you let me work on my car in the shop and let me borrow the alignment tools I need and have a tech watching and I sign a waiver saying if anything happens to me it's not gonna be the business fault. It will be my own fault. I'm a qualified mechanic/service technician. I know a lot more about cars and equipment in the shop than your average Joe. And I'd really like to work on MY car, and they still get paid for letting me do my thang.
