Inconsistent experience - one great hero, one major disappointment ​We ordered out tonight and got two small heroes: a chicken vodka parm and a meatball parm. Looking at them side-by-side, it honestly feels like two different people made these sandwiches. ​The chicken vodka parm was great--well-made, flavorful, and properly filled. The meatball parm, however, was completely unacceptable. The food itself didn't taste bad, but the meatball hero was practically empty, leaving us with mostly bread and sauce. ​If the consistency matched the quality of the chicken sandwich, this would easily be a 5-star review, but paying for a hero that is missing the actual filling is incredibly disappointing. Naples is a great little pizzeria/restaurant. It is always packed inside whenever I go in to grab the takeout food I order and that says a lot about a place. Everything I've had from there from pizza to dinners is great. Their chicken ceasar salad is amazing and comes with a pile of grilled chicken on it and the large is a HUGE portion. All of the different pasta dinners I've gotten from there over the years never disappoint. The staff is all super friendly and will get you in and out of there in a timely manner. read more

For the record, the only thing I didn't try from the Hot Antipasto, was the clams, but those that did have it stated it was decent, nothing crazy. However the stuffed mushrooms was my favorite (it has sausage and it was delicious and I'm used to seafood or bread crumb stuffing), then I'd recommend the eggplant rollatini because it has a good amount of cheese and not soggy which is always a plus, then I'd go with the shrimp scampi (the sauce is dominating though because it has a lot of lemon, so no good if you're having it to go, and not a fan of that much lemon, I don't know how they serve it inside though), the mussels I was not a fan because it tasted chewy to me, but I can be particular when it comes to mussels. Again it was all in one container which makes it hard to distinguish the sauces between them. Otherwise, the service is always good, we usually order ahead to go to the brewery, but remember to ask for utensils or napkins, because they never supply it on their own. They really should work on giving everyone utensils or asking if the take out orders need it because it's not the first time we've had to go back to get. It can come across as bring cheap with it. The soup was good though, nice size with plenty of greens and mini meatballs/sausage bites. read more

We have been going to Naples for years because the food was good. We generally do take out as we have smaller children. Last night we ordered pizza (2) mozzarella sticks, and G-knots. The pizza when we got home and went to eat it was burnt beyond belief. Out of two pies there were four slices that weren't literally black on the bottom. So word of caution ask to see your pizza before you leave or better yet Naples- if you burnt it don't serve it. read more

I like going to dine in here better than take out (like anywhere). We bring a bottle of wine and the food is always consistent. It's a low key atmosphere so you can go in jeans and t-shirt. Not bad, I got the chicken bacon ranch and pepperoni slice. For the chicken bacon ranch it could of been heated a little longer as it was a bit cold. The pepperoni pizza was really good, the cheese to sauce Ratio was perfect and no grease. The crust was crunchy how I like it. The only thing I didn't like about the pepperoni slice was as for me personally the pepperoni was too big and too much for the slice. If I had to scale the pizza 1-10 I'd have the Chicken bacon ranch an 4 and the pepperoni an 7. Staff working was friendly and quick. I called this place at 4:49 PM and was told to give them an hour for delivery. I said to the girl that would be great because we wanted delivery around 5:45/6:00 PM. She said no problem. At 5:17 PM I got a call from the delivery driver asking for the town we lived in which I had already gave the first person I spoke to. Jose and I went back and forth about the delivery time, etc., the end result of that conversation was it was my fault. Food was horrible. Naples has the best pizza around. Their grandma pie comes out perfect every time. Their entrées are also very good and they do it right. They give you a salad and bread with your entrée. There are few things I hate more than watery tomato sauce. Unfortunately that's what I got from this place. I ordered the Contadina pasta. in addition to watery tomato sauce it included soggy zucchini and eggplant. The whole dish was under seasoned and not fun to eat. I've lived in this town for almost 18 years and had never tried Naples. To be completely honest our first experience with this place was completely on accident! I used Siri to order a pizza on the way home from work and somehow my order wound up at Naples - completely a happy accident though!! Their pizza was the best that we've had and the house "pizza joint" was converted to Naples from that night on. The pizza is always hot, super cheesy, and baked on the lighter side which we love. We've ordered other dinners twice before and while they were good the portions were skimpy, especially the pasta. Naples will always be our go to for pizza night but not so much their other dishes when they charge the same prices as down the road and don't give as much food. read more

BYOB A classic in the neighborhood. I rememeber this place as a kid. It was run down. They have remodeled in the recent decade. Now you have linen table clothes and napkins. They are the oldest pizzeria in the Junction. We had pepperoni pizza and the house salad. The lettuce was on its way out but we ate it anyway. I've owned a place, so I get it....Sunday night. We also got a large Pepperoni pie. I judge a pizza by its dough. This was completely edible and not chewy like the other pies in the junction. This place was great! Reasonable priced and the food was delicious! We order 2 slices and a chicken parm and it was enough to feed two plus enough as leftovers for tomorrow lunch. The restaurant is located in "Campbell's Junction section of Belford. When we pulled up it looked closed but we went in and it's nicely decorated with table clothes. We were greeted right away by a friendly waitress who took very good care of us. The food came out hot and pretty quick. Best Sicilian pizza I've had in a long time. Crispy on the bottom, thick and fluffy with the right amount of cheese and sauce(. Makes me not miss brooklyn pizza which is hard to beat.) My kids ordered the kids chicken parmigiana and chicken Francese which were both huge ! They could have shared one. Seriously it's an adult sized portion. The pasta fagioli soup was very good. I could have had that alone as a meal Good...Being a first generation born in the USA Italian,,, sauce is everything. If you can't make good sauce you can't cook ! And I'm really picky about it. You know you're born and raised in Belford when you've known about the battle between Naples and Valentino's since you were a child. Hands down, Naples wins. The prices are okay, maybe a little higher than other places, but the quality of food is fantastic. Top foods - Sicilian pizza (hands down - perfect ratio of sauce and cheese), Chicken Siciliano, and their Broccoli Rabe and Sausage Penne, but literally everything on that menu is fantastic. The pizza war went down as follows: Ordered buffalo chicken pie, sausage pie, and plain pie from Naples and ordered buffalo chicken pie, pepperoni pie, and plain pie from Valentino's. In the head to head category; Naples easily won both the buff chix pie and plain pie . In the miscellaneous category it was a tie. Both the pepperoni and sausage were really good. This place just became our favorite Italian restaurant! Clam Oreganato had a whole clam meat in each shell instead of chopped up meat and mixed with lots of bread crumb. They tasted fresh and well made. Our pizza came out quickly and it was hot and flavorful. It is the typical Jersey pizza, thin crust and packed with flavor. I frequented this place about 6 times. I found the quality of the food to be low. Many times, the salad was old and wilted but the food was "ok". My last visit there I was looking forward to having chicken parm over linguini. What came to my table was two over cooked, hardened pieces of chicken, so well done that the linguini was fused to the bottom of one of the chicken pieces. After eating about three bites, I called the waitress over, asked for my check and sent the plate back to the kitchen. The owner is a miserable man and not a businessman. Any businessman would have removed the meal from my bill and would have been nice to me to ensure I would return. It's called customer service. It's called business. So, I sent the plate back and they did offer me something else, to be fair, but I wasn't hungry anymore mostly because I wanted chicken parm. The bill arrives and this $16 entrée was reduced to $8. The nerve of this man. I will never go back there. I put $20 on the table and left. Avoid this place like the plague. It's just a pizzeria and unfortunately, not a good place to eat. read more

My god there pasta dishes were stunningly delicious!!...blew us right out of the water. The # of choices met any and all needs...the quantity/size was remarkable, the flavor exploded with every bite and the price was incredibly reasonable.
