Came to try some good coal fired pizza cooked in a brick oven. I dont come by these often so I was excited to give it a try plus I expect the pizza to be better than back home. The review is due to the customer service (or lack of customer service) and the food. Starting with the food, the food overall was good. Tried the oven fired wings and 2 different pies. The oven fired wings were good, it had a nice smokey flavor with rosemary and light seasoning. The wings could've used some lemon and a little salt but overall still tasted good. It was refreshing having wings not deep fried. Although the wings were huge, a couple pieces were underdone but one piece in particular was half underdone. I had asked if they could remake one wing, I spit out half the chicken meat when I realized it was underdone. This is where the poor customer service came into play. To be clear our server was very nice accomadating but either the manager or the chef dropped the ball. He made the poor server take parchment paper and cook the wing that was underdone. It was such an awkward process and unpleasant experience. I understand food costs are high but we could've gotten sick from the food and I didn't ask for the meal or dish to get compensated so it was very disappointing. I also noticed we were served pita bread vs foccacia according to the menu but the pita was good so no complaints. Onto the pizza, the pizza was very good despite the chicken wing fiasco. We order the wild mushroom barrata and truffle oil specialty pizza and a margarita pizza. Both were very good, not too thin where it falls apart but thin enough to be crispy. I will also note the tomato sauce was pungent with nice flavors that made the pizza interesting. One thing to note, there was barely any basil on the margarita pizza, which is the only knock on their pizza. It is in a little shopping plaza with other restaurants and small businesses. The plaza is set up in an odd format, the exit for the plaza comes before the entrance. Don't worry if you think you missed the entrance, it's further down.

Seafood pizza..aka fruitti de mare" Measly toppings and soggy. No crunch to the pizza.

Ordered a small Frutti de mare pizza. So disappointed. Barely any seafood. Got a small pie as take out. Maybe it was crispy if eaten there..but still would have disappointed with the measly amount of seafood toppings. Not sure if I will go back for pizza, maybe something else.

Always wanted to try their coal fired Pizza, I specifically requested it to be extra crispy and well done. Sadly, it did not arrive the way I requested. Kinda soggy in the middle. I also thought it would be a great idea to order coal fired chicken wings, the only request I had, was for blue cheese, which I did not get. A little disappointed. Good wings thought. Possibly will try again.

The restaurant is small and cozy, with wooden tables that seat up to 4 people lining the walls and sitting in the middle of the place. Three gear-chain chandeliers hang from the ceiling and the drinks station can be seen in the back, with a skeleton on a motorbike being propped on top of it. The ordering counter is in the back as well and a mounted TV plays overhead on the leftmost wall as well. We ordered the following: Veggie lover and cheese lover pizza, which is topped with mozzarella, broccoli, spinach, eggplant and tomato. This was ok. Hubs usually likes ordering vegetables on top of pizza to get his fiber. Hubs liked it, too. Linguine with white clam sauce - whole clams and parsley sautéed in garlic wine broth. Server came back to ask if we wanted in dinner portion or lunch portion. We didn't realize there was a lunch portion and was glad that he gave us a choice. We ordered the lunch portion. They were generous with the whole clams and sprinkled in some clam meat, as well. Loved the combination of clams, pasta and white wine with parsley. Delicious! Service was quick and friendly. I loved that the server offered us a lunch or dinner portion for the linguini. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!

Crust and Crumble was a huge win for our vegans, food allergic kid (nut/egg/soy bean/etc), and strong food preference kids (e.g., French fries, Mac and cheese). Dining room is small and eclectic in the back - hand chairs, a car, lots of 4 seaters - but not good for a boisterous group like us, so we relegated ourselves outside to the pizza shaped tables and benches. The vegan pizza that fell to earth was a winner for my pineapple pizza bbq sauce loving soul (I know that's divisive!) and the dough was not heavy at all! Loved eating my crust! My older daughter loved her pepperoni and garlic masterpiece. Plain cheese (other friend's daughter) was neither a hit nor a miss. French fries were a couple cuts below Red Robin - maybe hotter and less smaller pieces might have been the win on both the sweet potato and regular fries. Sandwiches are huge at the half size and probably could be split or maybe even mixed and matched to get more of an experience of the extensive menu (it was so hard to choose!). The Vegan Eggplant parm with aioli was the winning sandwich, getting rave reviews. The regular eggplant caprese needed something more - a sauce or maybe a better ratio of cheese and tomato to eggplant. Bread was super delicious. We also ordered salads and other pizzas and declared this will be our spot next year. So glad that we were able to find this somewhat hidden spot and that it hit so many high marks for a big family dinner after a day at the beach. Parking also relatively simple to find.

Lots of vegan topping options, also an order of seitan bites - teriyaki. Service was great and quick- friendly staff. It's the kind of place that never falls off if anything, it just keeps getting better. Everything here is made from scratch, and you can actually taste the difference. The sauce, the dough, the flavors nothing feels rushed or generic. It's real Italian comfort food done right. The staff is amazing too always friendly, welcoming, and consistent. Whether you're grabbing a quick slice or sitting down for a full meal, they treat you like a regular every time. Now let's talk pizza. They're well-known for their chicken vodka slice, and for good reason it's rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. But honestly, their margarita slice is the best I've ever had. Simple, fresh, and absolutely flawless. Sometimes less really is more. If you're looking for a place with history, heart, and seriously great pizza, this spot is it. I've been loyal since 2009 and I'm not going anywhere.

My friend hosted a birthday party for her 6-year-old daughter, and the way she and her guests were treated was incredibly disappointing. From the beginning, there seemed to be an attitude surrounding the party. My friend was given an attitude about them holding her daughter's birthday cake, and she was told they couldn't reserve a table or accommodate the party in the main dining area. Then throughout the party, the men working behind the counter seemed visibly annoyed anytime we asked for even the simplest things. We asked for to-go bags for leftover pizza and plastic utensils, and they made comments about how many we were asking for. We were given nasty looks and stares throughout the party, and when I simply asked if someone could wipe down the table, even that was met with an attitude. It honestly felt like every request was an inconvenience. I completely understand that restaurants have policies and limitations when it comes to reserving tables or accommodating parties. That isn't the issue. The issue was the way we were spoken to and the attitude we received over basic requests. There is a way to communicate policies to customers while still being kind and professional. For someone hosting a 6-year-old's birthday party and bringing a group of paying customers into the restaurant, you would expect at least basic hospitality. Instead, the overall attitude made what should have been a happy celebration feel uncomfortable. The experience left such a bad impression that I personally won't even return for a pizza. I also wouldn't recommend this place to friends or family, especially for a party. Customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately the way we were treated completely overshadowed what should have been a special day.
