This was one uncomfortable dealership experiences I've had. The issue wasn't even with the salesperson it was the finance team. They were throwing out numbers and pushing deals without even reviewing any of my information to see what I actually qualified for. It felt like they were just trying to get as much money out of me as possible, without giving me a fair or realistic picture of rates or financing options. I think that's just unethical. What really bothered me even more was how they treated other customers. While I was there, two separate deals fell apart including mine and two different groups of people walked out. One of them was a couple of young guys being yelled at right next to me. I told the my sales person directly that I didn't like the way they were treating people. I needed a bracket for the front end they ordered it for me and put it on and my license plate. Both times I was there they offered to wash my truck! Great service! read more

I went to look and possibly purchase a vehicle. The salesman was good, however his manager wasnt very good. They had fees, other fees amd more fees. Without explaining what the fees were. First fee was taxes and "other fees" so I added up taxes and it came out to be 350 dollars less than what was written up. I question the salesperson he didnt have a good response he kept running back and forth to manager. Later he told me that their computer system couldn't accurately depict the number. WHAT? Red flag. The another line for document fee is just accepted it of course its illinois. The next line was ert fee whatever they call it paperwork. The next was a line that says "other fees" I just had other fees on line one no this is another "other fees" for another 277. I asked what that was for salesperson ran back and forth and couldnt provide a good bullshit answer. With over 627 additional unknown fees. I walked out. Covid changed more businesses in 2020. We purchased our Enclave here six years ago when it was Courteous Buick. We always brought our Enclave here (except when we were out of town) for oil changes and other services. Courtesy Buick was HONEST and treated their customers very well. This might have been my second oil change this year as Covid had us staying home more than normal and hardly driving our vehicles at all. So of course an oil change was needed before the end of the year. I made an appointment and noticed the name change from Courtesy to Napleton. Came in and noticed all new employees in the service area. Gave them my keys, a coupon, signed the papers and walked to the Customer Waiting Area. At first glance it looked the same. But take a closer looks and you'll notice the cooler filled with complimentary water bottles is now a vending machine. The complimentary coffee machine is now a snack machine. Covid: everyone wears a face mask; absolutely no social distancing. Came here for an oil change and have my tires looked at. Two hours passed and the service guy comes to tell me they found a nail in one of my tires. They could fix it easily for $50. Sure. Who knew that would take another hour? I declined other services as we wanted a second opinion and price quotes elsewhere. So I was there THREE hours total. Ugh! It never took two hours for an oil change anywhere else! We ended up taking our Enclave to another repair shop for half the price for the other services needed. Unfortunately, we may never return to Napleton Buick again. read more

Beware this dealer...went in to turn in a leased vehicle (not leased from them), wanted to get an appraisal before handing it over. dealer took my keys...checked out the car...porter comes back with my plates and finance manager came back with a lease end paper with him signing as the Lessee AND dealer without having my wife or myself look the info over to make sure it's correct or getting our approval of the turn in of the vehicle. I made the appointment. I drive out for an hour with my wife and kids. I get there and I tell them which vehicle I wanted to see. The salesman had no idea what I was talking about. He goes and talks to his manager. He comes back 5 minutes later and tells me the vehicle is in transit and it won't be there until the end of July. Needless to say I was furious. Then he tells me the attorney general doesn't allow bait and switch tactics. I'm thinking that's exactly what you just did. We left immediately. He must've done a very thorough inspection I can't imagine how he found it. They repaired it Quickly and kept me informed the whole time. It came time to use our insurance for a lost key fob and were told to contact the insurance company directly for a claim number then go to a Buick dealer near us. Went good at first. Then sales came back with the paperwork and they apparently add a $1,298.00 charge to all cars for a Lux care protection program.... Beware! They seem to do this to advertise cars lower priced to drive traffic into the dealership. This is an 8 year old car with nearly 100k miles!!! I bought a new car from them this past March 2021. I purchased the prepaid service plan don't know why but I did. I took in my car for its first maintenance yesterday during my wait they came and told me that my car was unsafe to drive because of a crack on one of the tires. They said it would cost me $1600 to replace the tire and the rim. I was angry to say the least and tell them that this was a new car and I was not going to pay a time. I took my car to two other places after I left the dealership and they both told me that their claim of my car being unsafe was bullshit. I received the first, but when I went back for the second I discovered they had been bought out by Napleton who flatly refused to honor the deal made by the business they bought out. I am now in the market for a new Buick for my wife and will later need to renew my lease. Napleton will never get my business!
