Well this is o much bigger inside than it looks like from the outside. We came here for a show and decided to have a quick bite beforehand. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it did not disappoint. Big juicy burger and hot fat fries. That how i love it. Service is efficient. Neither rude nor overly friendly... come on it's a bar. It's a south side dive bar! It's a large venue but it's slot of smoke! This first time I seen people smoking inside like it's 1993 ! If you have any breathing issues stay away ! But if you like smoking come in! And the food was good ! Had the wings and nachos with fry. read more

The food is higher quality than typical bar food. Hand breaded wings, best fried pickles ever, parmesan chicken pizza is amazing, salads are crisp and fresh. I plan on trying everything. Great place to sit around and watch games on TV. This is like my Cheers Bar. I am a non-smoker, but it really doesn't bother me because there seems to be some decent filters. I do try to keep my distance from the smoking if I'm going to eat. I hope to check out the karaoke soon. read more

I've been to this smoke-filled establishment....3 times now. Each time, I have had a different experience, but all have been good. The wait staff can be hit or miss, but this past Sunday while visiting with a friend, Jenn the bartender, was very attentive. She was busy, but she did not let that affect her level of service. This was my first time ordering food and it was surprisingly good and affordable. My friend ordered a philly steak quesadilla and I had the potato skins. They did not skimp on the meat and cheese on either of these dishes and that's just what we needed after a night of drinking and shooting pool. They have a ton of dart boards, several pool tables and a jukebox with an eclectic variety of music to choose from. Would recommend, but only if you can tolerate the smoke! read more

Only thing good about this bar is the wings. Drinks are watered down. My glass had a hair in it and the waitress said alcohol killed the germs. Are you kidding me? There's always a hundred dart players in there. A woman named Brenda is rude. Told us she was a manager and come to find out she was not! Save your money and avoid this establishment. read more

Great Beech Grove hangout, the best fried pickles I've ever had :) wonderful salads!! Plenty of room/seating for having a huge party. Multi TV'S for watching Michigan kick ass..or any other non important team ;-) Their lunch is fast and delicious. The bar is a very nice size to just come in for a quick beer. Food is good. Only thing I didn't enjoy was waiting almost 2 hours after calling in my order for my food but I guess I can say it was a little worth the wait for the wings. I've lived in the neighborhood for awhile never thought to order food from here but it was decent. read more

Hidden innat dang old strip mall in Beech Grove, you'd expect a plywood floor and plentiful holes in the walls with canned beer only and a menu consisting of strictly fried appetizers. However this is not the case. It's spacious yet cozy, clean, and you can smoke! Bitchin. They have some draft beers as well and none end in "lite." Good call. Also: darts, billiards, touch tunes, occasional karaoke. The food is also solid. Small menu of various appetizers, wings, specialty burgers, a handful "whole meal" style of salads, and a few plate dinners. Pub fare, but it's all fresh ingredients. The jalapeño chips are fresh sliced and battered, fresh cut fries, never frozen beef. The guy working (clearly an owner or manager) said they didn't even have a freezer. Nice. In work in a kitchen and man... that's a feat. Overall, it's a strip mall bar with some love. I will be back. read more

This is a smoke friendly bar. I did not know that going into it. At no fault of their own I was already turned off. Then we, 6 of us, attempted to order drinks. The lady behind the bar never acknowledged us after waiting about 10 minutes. Eventually another waitress noticed us standing/sitting there. She asked the waitress behind the bar if she was going to wait on us. She said "no not if they aren't staying up here".' We wanted to play pool and watch the Notre Dame game not sit at a Smokey bar. Apparently that's not the way things are done at this establishment. You are to wait by the pool table until someone comes around to you. I didn't mind so much the fact that she didn't want to serve us but she was rude as could be with the way she said it. Asking the other waitress to "please help them if they would like to play pool" seemed to me a little more professional. May not matter to most folks but the quality of the TV's was garbage. Hard to see clearly from more than a few feet away. read more

This place has amazing food. Most of their fried food is beer battered including the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best I have ever had. The wings here are good too. They are restaurant quality. I will actually come here to eat because the food is that good. I do want to warn everyone this is a bar in Beech Grove, which means you can smoke inside the bar. If you are a non smoker this place might not be for you. read more

I went here with my husband for a rare, kid free date night. We wanted to play pool and have a few drinks and chicken wings. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The service was terrible. It took the bartender quite a while to realize we were even there. When she finally did We ordered our drinks and asked for a menu. 20 minutes later we ordered a second round and again asked for a menu. She apologized and said she would bring them right away. She came back maybe 10 minutes later (keep in mind we were sitting right at the bar) brought the menu finally but no drinks. Waited for her to bring the drinks and take our order. Another 20 minutes past and still no service. Needless to say, we left. We won't waste another date night in that place again. read more

My brother, myself and a friend of ours stopped in to the Nite Owls Saloon & Grill on Saturday to have a few drinks and so they could play pool. There was a fair amount of people in the bar but it was by no means packed. We stood at the end of the bar for about 10 minutes waiting for the bartender to come take our order however she was in a conversation with whom we later discovered was her boyfriend at the end of the bar. Finally a waitress came over and got us a few drinks. The guys attempted 3 games of pool but the table was not working correctly and wouldn't release the cue ball. My brother wanted another drink and waited again for quite a bit at the bar while the waitress ignored him. Upon closing his tab and paying for cash, the waitress did not return his card to him which prompted a trip back in the morning. As we were leaving, there was a fight breaking out in the parking lot between two men. If you're looking for working pool tables, a safe environment and good service then skip the Nite Owls Saloon and Grill. read more

Unfortunately, I paid over $100.oo for a NYE night out at this club. It was, absolutely the worst. The bathrooms were awful and did not work. It is a 'smoking' club with zero ventilation. I literally had to walk out several times during the night to just breathe. The food was cold, soggy and unpalatable. Service was , basically, non-existent. What a waste of a New Years celebration but a fitting end to a miserable year. I will NEVER venture back here again ! read more
