We had Frosttop root beer...best rb ever, 2 side salads...fresh, delicious...and I had the chicken cacciatore sub, mate had the spaghetti w meat sauce. Generous portions, everything was delicious, and my father said the chef salad we took home for him was perfect . Food 4.7 out of 5 stars Our servers name was Amanda. As soon as we sat down she was wonderful. Very personable and great personality. Made good recommendations. Great ambiance...quiet, peaceful, good tunes, clean restaurant and outside area. Sat for 10 minutes before the waitress acknowledged me, another 10 mins for her to get her pad 10 more to get drinks 10 more for sweetener, etc.,etc. This was lunch time mind you, one waitress, using her two hands ,not a tray, got there at 12:20 ,got out at 1:33 totally mind blowing! Napoli's was a chain of pizza joints in the Marietta and Parkersburg that spread into Belpre and even Vincent. Having been to Napoli, Italy and eating pizza there I can say that there is absolutely no comparison. In fact the pizza from Napoli's was always compared to cardboard, but that wasn't their gimmick. The big selling point here was value. For a bunch of kids hanging out in town with a couple bucks in their pockets, it was easy to buy a couple pizzas and sit around munching on them in the Hills parking lot. In one of my recent visits back home I had a few pieces of a Napoli's pizza from the Vincent location and the quality was actually vastly improved over that which I remembered from the early-mid 90s. Another big seller for Napoli's is their Happy Nappy sandwich. Yum! I know a lot of people were also really fond of their Italian sub. read more

So what is a chicago girl to do when stuck in Parkersburg? (and I mean stuck in the most loving and endearing way). Yelp it! Last night a big group of us ordered Napolis. It is sort of a christmas tradition I guess. We ordered 3 large pizzas (cheese, mushroom, and some veggie combo), the chef's salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and an italian sub. Lots of food for 4 hungry men and a hungry, but hesitant, young lady (me!). Now, i must be very clear, what I'm about to write MUST be prefaced with two very important contextual issues. 1. this meal was had after 6 hours of working out, playing tennis, and lifting. and I had only had cereal and a little piece of toast mid-day. AKA I was famished. 2. This meal was had in the hurricane of holiday binging. Now that those are out of the way . . . I started off with the chef's salad. Which tasted DELICIOUS. This may have been because i was just very very hungry or because I hadn't had any veggies for about 5 days, but either way it hit the spot. It comes with meat and cheese (yum) and then some (seemingly) fresh iceburg. It is no gourmet salad, but it tasted good! Then came the pizza. So. the thing is, the pizza is kind of gross. Definitely not the same delicious pizza I find in Chicago. But, this did not stop me from scarfing down two pieces. So, it was gross in a good way. The delicious way gross pizza is good. yes. Would I eat here out of choice? maybe not. Would I eat it if it happened to be sitting in front of me again? HELL YES. (oh, and all that food was about 55 bucks. In chicago, we pay 60 dollars for 2 large deep dish pizzas. So this place felt pretty cheap.) read more

We always order their spaghetti with marinara and provolone. My wife ordered and asked for additional sauce or some on the side. The lady said we can't add anything to the original recipe. She claimed we couldn't even pay extra for sauce on the side. Why order from someone who has the customer service of a horse fly? We haven't ordered from Napoli's for over 5 years. There are better pizza shops in the area. Good grief a large sandwich is now $10 bucks. I don't think so. read more

Food is ok but service is amature. They have the customer guilty If your food ends up at wrong location. I ordered two subs for Belpre pickup and confirmed It was Belpre pick up and they sent order to Barlow. Obviously the order centers fault but they tell me I am wrong and ban me from calling a order by phone. the customer is allways wrong here at Napolis! what kind of amature business practices is this? never again. read more

I don't know if I have ever had the Pizza here as I always get the baby Napoli's Sandwich, which I love. Now when I get into Parkersburg, I usually have to stop by Kroger's and pick up bottles of Olivero Sweet peppers in sauce, which for some reason I haven't found an equivalent tasting sauce in Cincinnati. read more

I placed an order at Napoli's tonight for pickup and the operator tells me that they should have it ready in 20-25 minutes. She failed to tell me that two large orders had come in just before mine and the wait was likely to be far longer than 20-25 minutes. I'm there for over an extra half hour and was lied to by one of the men behind the counter about when my order was actually started. So I finally get my order home and guess what. They got my part of my order completely messed up. This company has always been poorly run, but lately it has gotten far worse. They charge too much for low quality food and then follow it up with poor service. Don't waste your money here. read more

I can't speak for anything but the pizza, but pizza is fabulisimo! The crust is inconsistent, sometimes great and sometimes 'eh', but still best pizza ever, largely because of the really unique and yummy sauce- best sauce ever, never found one like it! Of course I have nostalgic fondness from loving their pizza as a kid, so I love to get it when I am back in town.... could be love for elusive things you don't get every day, could burn out on it if I were in town, but, no... I don't believe I have ever written a review on yelp, but for some reason this evening I feel compelled to write one for Napolis Pizza after finishing my spaghetti supreme dinner. I've been eating there since 1974 since I was a teenager, I actually worked there for a year or so back then and I saw how they made their food and how they used the best meat and the best cheese and the best of everything they can provide, The wild thing is nothing has changed the Italian subs are the best subs in town they taste the same as they did 45 years ago, along with the Baby Napoli sandwiches l, the spaghetti is the best ever, the pizzas with my favorite, pepperoni sausage and onions are the best you can imagine, I have ate a lot of pizzas in a lot of towns in a lot of places but my fallback is always to Napolis. Whenever I want a good meal whenever I want a great sandwich whenever I want to get a salad. I know that if I go to Napolis I won't be disappointed. It's always the freshest ever and the best tasting than anybody in town. It amazes me how everything could still taste the same as it did, 45 years ago and I've had 1000 Italian subs and 1000 baby Napolis and 1000 pizzas and I always order the same, with the best ingredients the best taste that you can imagine. Some people say it's a little expensive, but believe me you get what you pay for. It's not that expensive compared to the taste and the quality that you receive. Our family members that has moved away, come to town for the weekend the first place they wanna go is to Napolis's to get a sandwich or pizza sometimes they take one back with them. I want to thank the Waldeck family For having the guts to keep things the same. I always go by, If it ain't broke don't fix it, and they have lived by that, because believe me it ain't broke. Pizza is pretty good, a little over priced. I'm a big fan of their sandwiches. And they deliever! Doesn't get much better than that!

Attitude. You'd think they were the elite of elite and you were the village people begging for food. The must snooty and unfriendly business in the mid Ohio valley. If you ask to take your drink with you in a carry out cup, they will charge you for another drink. They have a miserable time making changes to their menu items. You can't eat here for lunch because it takes 20 minutes to just get a salad. Olive Garden or other Italian restaurants close by are 10 times better. read more

Very RUDE manager. We bought the 9.99 pizza with three toppings. When we got the bill we were charged 12.99 the waitress stated that CHEESE is not part of the three toppings so she added 2.00 to the pizza bill. We spoke to the owner and she would not change the bill. VERY DECEPTIVE AND UNACCOMIDATING. FIRST TIME CUSTOMER. We still left a 18% tip. Never to ever put my money down to eat at Napolis. read more

This restaurant is a joke. Over a period of time I would say 3 out of 5 deliveries are wrong. My last order was definitely my last. My husband and I ordered, and when the food arrived it was incorrect so I called in and explained we had gotten fries instead of onion rings and I had tomato on my sub which Im allergic to and had specifically asked not to have.(obviously) They're response was,"Even though it was mentioned when you were ordering... when the order was read back to you the lady didn't mention no tomato so we will no replace it, but we can give onion rings."What a load of crap.When you spend $20 for a sub,onion rings, and a salad it should be correct.They acted like it was my fault that they are incompetent!!!! read more
