Great breakfast prices and lots of seating, staff is pretty friendly. Lunch prices are a bit high for me but others are probably used to paying more. Sandwiches are served with chips so if you want a sandwich and side it'll bump you to over $13 for most sandwiches and a side. (Not a huge fan of paying almost $10 for getting chips with a meal.) I got pancakes and they were great. My brother got the soup and a grilled cheese and said it was good. read more

Definitely worth the stop, food was very good and the waitresses are very nice and attentive. I was the only outsider in the place, the rest were all locals so you knew they must have good food. It has been about 8 or nine years since I have been back to the Redwood in Belpre Ohio. I moved to Florida. We moved back To the MOV, our parents are 90. We were so happy to know the Redwood restaurant is open. I hated the thought of Covid shutting it down permanently. Taylor waited on the three of us. She took care of us, without hovering. It was breakfast. The waitresses and cook was very busy. I ordered biscuits and gravy with hash browns. The food was delicious. Our nephew ordered the short stack. This is two pancakes. My husband ordered; Two eggs over easy, 2 bacon, toast. Cottage fries. Each of us liked our breakfast. I love ... what I'm going to call , the renewed Redwood. COVID shut so many things down. If you have not been to the redwood Family Owned business, Please check them out. Hours are 0900-8pm 7 days a week i believe. We will be back. The girls never stopped moving and taking care of all the customers. They each checked on their customers and acknowledged new customers coming in. Great staff. Great attitudes. read more

This place was home, more than the apartment my dad lived in once next to it. The friendly staff brought my dad too peace. For in all reality the staff was a family. I miss having that connection. I will always have the memory of eggs and toast, for my father could not cook. Or the late mint chocolate ice cream brought back to the apartment, as we placed my old busted up Nintendo 64. This restaurant is a home, a business, and it holds family . Overall amazing food, but even better staff. Thank you for holding my family together, through delicious food. read more

The last time I went there, i got my meal fries and strips I think. they were good the service was nice to my dad and me they had good salt and great tomato ketchup and I feel bad about your 1 star ratings but it's okay everything was great at redwood. Unfortunately everything was either made from ready to eat frozen items, green beans out of a can and macaroni out of a box. As I looked at others meals, it was the same. Yes this place is "out dated" as everyone's main complaint seems to be in the reviews, but what do you expect? I enjoy their breakfast...eggs and pancakes or French toast. I have not had other meals here. 4 stars because the staff is a little off, last time waitress was continually going on about slapping someone--even if you're joking around there's people eating in the restaurant that do not know the difference and are just trying to enjoy a meal...likely with family. We came in 40 minutes before they closed on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite to eat but were turned away because they were closing in 40 minutes. Both waitresses rolled their eyes and were openly talking about having to be our server. Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior.
