Free glass of vino with Yelp Check-in!
    Jonathan Z.

Came in for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was a pretty slow night yet it took them a while to seat us. That being said, we were eventually seated but the party behind us was served and waited on a lot quicker than we were. Guess it's because we aren't locals. We were waited on by a taller, bearded waiter who may have been having a bad night and scoffed when we showed him the Yelp Check-in offer for a free glass of wine. He reluctantly gave us a couple glasses of vino and we proceeded to order. He served us bread after we finished our clam bruschetta appetizer, which was on the saltier side. The sea bass with olive and clams was our shared entree, as well as the ricotta stuffed margherita pizza. As others have noted, the ricotta stuffed crust is a must-try. It was delicious. The pizza itself only had two pieces of basil on it but the stuffed crust made up for it. Finally, the tiramisu was delicious. We were hesitant at first because it came out with a quickness, but it was a deliciously smooth custard custard with espresso down below. The food was great but the service was meh. I'm a bit on the fence with this one because the waiter's attitude the entire night really brought down our experience. Locals definitely have one up on the tourists here, but the pizza is worth a try.

Margarita pizza with ricotta stuffed crust

I have eaten A LOT of pizza in Italy, but this place is by far the best! For around 5 euro you can get a classic margarita pizza with the most amazing, pillowy crust...stuffed with ricotta cheese! You can ask for any pizza here to be cooked with ricotta in the crust and if you come here that is what you must do! The sauce is perfectly sweet and just perfectly complements that soft pizza dough. I can't wait to come back here more!

The napoleon style pizza is the best bet. Wanted seafood. Not really a seafood place. Only order pizza here. Nice atmosphere with music at the appropriate volume. Had the salmon and my wife had the linguine with clam sauce. Again, I think... skip clam sauce in Rome. Or come to my place and I can make it. Spent five years figuring out how to make it without fresh seafood. Mine is better. Nice fresh basil with fresh tomato sauce on the pie.

What pizza is meant to taste like! It's in a nontouristy part of town but so worth going there. Get the Napul'e pizza! It's delicious and has fresh ricotta in the crust. I also got the eggplant parm which was more of an eggplant lasagna and it was fabulous. My dessert was only ok. Seriously just get the pizza! The menu is interesting with history of dishes on it but I think the pizza was the best!

Three words. Ricotta-stuffed crust. Get the restaurant's namesake pizza and this will be the BEST decision of your day. I unfortunately did not heed my own advice and got the sausage and broccoli sausage pizza instead (which was also very good), but once I had a taste of my friends' Napule it was SO hard to go back. A perfect fluffy crust with a creamy ricotta filling, it was honestly the best pizza in Rome I've tried so far. A great place for Napoli-style pizza and at a very reasonably price as well. The restaurant seems to also have a stage set for live music but unfortunately did not have a performance the night that I visited. All in all, a very delicious ristorante dinning experience that I would definitely recommend!

Excellent pizza with a perfect price! Typical Italian pizzaria, la pizza da mamma! Very close to Re Di Roma metro station in San Giovanni. Happy place and fun!

Wonderful ricotta cheese stuffed crust pizza. Everyone had pizza but the star was the Napul'e stuffed crust.

Great red wine and nice atmosphere. Popular with locals and relaxing place.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

We shared the fried calamari and anchovy appetizer, which tasted fresh. I had the lasagna and it was excellent. My wife got the ravioli and really liked it she said it was a unique and tasty dish. For dessert we shared the Crème Catalana. The server brought it out and torched the sugar right at the table, which was fun to watch and tasted perfect. Great food and genuinely exceptional service. Would definitely return.

This shop is more of a countertop order from their limited menu but the menu is executed so well you'll be tempted to order multiple bowls. There are a few stools and table out front to enjoy your food hot. Both times I've been on separate visits within two years, has only shown me how consistent their food and quality is. You can pair your dishes with an aperol spritz or mini bottle of wine for less than five euros. The pasta was about nine to eleven euros and the portions were more than plenty. The chef and owner are super nice and very informative about their dishes. If you are a fan of spice you have to try their chef-recommended dish. They had one dish topped with pancetta and I just about wanted to lick my bowl clean. Everyone in the group was raving how delicious it was. Egg will forever be on my must-have when visiting Rome.
