Ezekiel came out to give a free estimate and our part is very old( over 20 plus years old). However, he drove to his distributor and got the part and came back to install it since our product was very out of date. We had estimates from OTHER companies even "Discount" companies which I recognized soon the other company was gouging us. To replace a simple unit in the toilet the "Discount" plumber wanted to charge almost 500. I have done this myself but this was my mom's house and I live far away so I know there was no way it costs that much! And shower almost 600. estimate and which I already knew the diagnosis of hot water valve/cartridge replacement bc I dealt with the same issue before being a property manager. So I knew that this estimate was too much. ( Did Yelp review for others as well.) Also OTHER companies charged a 250. Minimum regardless what was being done-like what?! So I called other plumbers. And Hemi's Plumbing company ended up to be the BEST of ALL- Jamal( the owner) worked with me and helped my elderly mother. They were patient as I was dealing with this from afar. His TOTAL estimate was half the price of just ONE repair, let alone doing two repairs! He was honest and the price seemed more than reasonable for the amount of time and parts and even driving to get the part. So being a property manager, I am always looking for a good, trustworthy company that goes ABOVE and BEYOND! This company is fast and efficient, honest/trustworthy, with quality work and doesn't push you or try to gouge you! When I find great companies like this, I give a shout out bc they deserve it! Save yourself a headache, call this company FIRST and get your reasonable estimate! Support your local plumbing small business and a good guy! He will be my go to from now on! I will update as well with future work bc I take my recommendations seriously and want to make sure the work is still above and beyond and good all the way around! We knocked out a wall, installed a beam, cabinets, outlets, pendant- and under-cabinet lights, and then also replaced a window with a sliding door + concrete stairs. It's made an amazing change to the way we're able to use the house. The cabinets, which had to match the already-finished side of the kitchen, were delayed by supply chain - no problem, Eloy and team waited patiently. When the cabinets arrived, they were back on the job. The finished product looks great, and we're very happy with the work.
