I thought Narbona was excellent. Location is beautiful and the concept is what I love. Open restaurant with a bar and a market. They even sold gelato. I had a glass of champagne on a Sunday afternoon with a delicious pastry. I am looking forward to returning and having a sit down meal. Such a nice place! read more

My husband and I recently tried Narbona for breakfast. I got avocado eggs and Brie which sss simple and done well. My husband got the narbona pizza which was pure cheese happiness with caramelized onions. We also loved the squash and artichoke appetizer and loved the tartar sauce. The layered dulce de leche dessert was out of this world. The service was also pretty good. read more

I had an 8 pm reservation for Saturday evening, 8/3/24. When I arrived at 7:50, the host said my reservation was at 7:15 and had been cancelled since I wasn't on time. When I protested that it was at 8, he dared me to show him my confirmation email. When I told him my confirmation email was sent to my work email, not on my cell phone, he basically called me a liar. My confirmation reads: John Schwartz Saturday, August 3, 2024 3 guests · 8:00 PM So who's the liar? He said they would accommodate us in 5 minutes. We waited 35 minutes. Narbona farms market was a wonderful experience. Had heard great things from this place and it didn't disappoint. Upon arriving we were seated close to the Display area where we could see the empanadas, breads, the desserts, oh yea salivating. Vicky was super kind and helpful to explain the history of the farms, concept, their unique dishes and wine recommendations. Definitely a place that you can come with family, on a date, or with friends. It's big lots of seating and everybody that you could see, was enjoying their food. We started with the spinach empanada so delicious crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and savory. They bring your bread too, crunchy as well soft and buttery. Ordered the Entraña with chimichurri and baked sweet potato, that was so good. (good size portions) Pro tip: they sell the chimichurri dry all you have to do is add olive oil, because there's a market attached to the restaurant! I ordered the crab and shrimp ravioli it had like a savory vodka sauce at first it was not as hot when I asked them if they could warm it up they just remade it without a hitch, you could taste the crab inside the ravioli the flavors come through. I ordered the Sauvignon Blanc paired really well with my dish; and my sister ordered the Malbec very good. We also couldn't resist getting the alfajor, divine! Soft and crumbly on the outside plenty of dulce de leche on the inside. So my sister and I made a pact we were gonna walk off the food but before that we had to get the gelato, Ferrero Roche and passion fruit you would think it didn't go but it was perfect. Good size portion as well. All in all it was a couple of days ago and I cannot wait to go back! read more

Found this place by luck... the sweetest hostess who allowed up to walk in to see the desserts. Omg they were all beautiful. The ambiance was great, very chic and clean. We sat at the counter top and immediately were served with water. We ordered dessert and coffee which was delicious. So hard to find spots like this these days! So sad we live in Broward . Waiters are awfully rude. I wasn't sure on what to choose and the waiter kept coming over to constantly ask what I wanted to eat, coming back every two minutes or so rushing you all the time. When I asked him if there was any sauces on the menu with cheese, he kept trying to explain to me that the pappardelle had no cheese. I kept trying to explain to him thats not what I was asking, and he instead kept trying to explain to mansplain to me that the pappardelle had no cheese, clearly losing his temper. This is obviously not a way to treat a lady or a human being at all. On top of this, the restaurant is extremely noisy preventing you from hearing the person next to you. Bottom line this is a restaurant that tries to act "high class" but in reality its bottom line disgustingly rude. Bring your money elsewhere. read more

YUM, YUM, YUM! This place is fantastic! Our server Ester, was very knowledgeable and attentive, even though the restaurant was packed. The atmosphere was extremely lively, especially with the kitchen in full view. My wife and I did not have reservations, but seating was available at the bar. What luck for us! Right in front of us was the bread/pizza station. The person in charge there was Marcos. He gladly answered all my breadlover wife's questions, and gave her bread baset refills straight from the pizza oven! Yes, the restaurant is noisy, but it's a good noise. Full of life! Narbona is a Uruguayan based farm to table restaurant/market new to Coco Walk. Think Grazianos and you get the picture. There are several parts to the restaurant/market. The entrance has a deli style counter the main space is the sit down restaurant. There is a small but elegant bar that serves food as well with a market and ice cream shop in the back. Decor is Parisian bistro chic. The place caters to families, groups, and lovers, an amazing eclectic crowd. Dress is all over the place, but mostly casual. We arrived and tried to check in as another couple made the reservation. The hostess couldn't find it. When the other couple arrived they were adamant they had made a reservation and said they had spoken to someone over the phone. Still unable to find it. Not a good impression; I thought. However the hostess accommodated us, so kudos for the effort. We were sat with Esther; utterly amazing! She alone rescued the evening. We started out with the polenta and charcuterie board, and both were great. For our entrees I had the filet mignon, with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The meat was divine and at $37, heavenly. The cheapest filet mignon in town. However, my side of grilled vegetables did not arrive with my filet and arrived as I was almost done. I caught Esther out of the corner of my eye frantically telling the manager about my vegetables. They finally arrived but were super cold. The table also had empanadas which were delicious. Esther exuded old world charm, and not once did she try to hurry us along to flip the table. She was handsomely rewarded. We topped it off with two bottles of Prisoner. The entire meal for four was $333 (minus the bottles and it was barely 100). The restaurant does not have a bathroom and you have to go outside. Parking is almost valet if you use the Grand Avenue garage. read more

My buddy and I walked in after realizing that they had finally opened. I was astounded by the size of it. From the outside, it doesn't seem very big but once you enter you can see there is a lot of space. We decided to sit at the bar and have a couple of glasses of wine. It sure didn't disappoint. The wine selections are pretty solid and the Tannat (not for everyone) was quite impressive. And for $45 a bottle very reasonable. The service was solid, at least from the bar. We also ordered some empanadas and they were quite tasty. I imagine happy hour is quite the deal here. It can hit you in the wallet a little but if you come with the mindset that you will spend a little money, it will not phase you. They have a cool little market too. A fabulous addition to the Grove and to Coco Walk. The restaurant is cafe in style with a wonderful elevated Italian market. We sat down at the restaurant where we were greeted by a lovely server who was aiming to please. I ordered ice tea which was freshly brewed. My guest had the beet salad with salmon. She said it was delicious but smaller than desired. She felt it wasn't a lunch portion but a small plate portion and it had very few beets. I had the quinoa salad with shrimp and it was actually quite large and I couldn't eat it all. We skipped dessert but made our way to the market. A perfect place to bring home high quality foods for dinner or to buy a wonderful "thanks for having us for dinner gift." Of all the new restaurants I have tried this week I am most excited about this one! read more

Went in on a Friday night and it was packed. The service was terrible and the waiter was unsure of the menu items when we asked for clarifications. Since it is pricey, we were expecting high quality food. The entrees were okay, but not worth the prices. However, the dessert saved the night. Some of the best ice cream in Miami. But don't waste your time eating there, just walk up to the ice cream counter and take it out for a nice walk around coconut grove. read more

This was our first visit - and there is no question this place gets it right. I had a simple empanada and it was delicious- the bread and the food get high marks from what I can see. Marring the visit was our purchase of 2 cans of San Pellegrino Esprezza for which we were charged $12.99 EACH- and we were told there was no mistake here. If that is really what they charge, avoid going there. Ask the real cost before you buy anything. read more

Outstanding place. Grab a glass of wine a stroll the market while you wait for your food. They give you samples which is so classy and different than other markets. We had beet salad, short rib, seafood pasta, fried artichokes and a bottle of wine. All outstanding. Service was great , manager comped the salmon which was a miss but everything else was spot on. Run from this place . Food is not good and service is horrible. We went there to have coffee and dessert and they said there was NOT table available for coffee although they have at least 10 tables free when we mentioned this they said they were only for lunch. We stayed at CocoWalk for two hours and the tables were always empty. So not only bad food , bad service they are not very smart. read more

We have eaten at this fine establishment at least a dozen times since it opened. I like the mussels, salad, and on occasion a nice Steak. The service is okay- not terrible but not great either. The restaurant is lovely. There is a little store in the back that I enjoy walking through. We also love the ice cream sold in the little store. The Grove is a gem and this restaurant is a really nice addition to the Grove. read more

Narbona in cocowalk is Amazing! I got the filet mignon and then the short rib empanadas as an appetizer! both were absolutely phenomenal, while my personally customized drink from the bartender Ethan was absolutely fabulous and strong. Will be coming back every time I am in Miami. read more

I had a really bad experience at Narbona. As an Uruguayan I am really disappointed, as I was excited to try this place. Service was terrible, the server was pretty rude and rushed us the whole time. We did arrive half an hour before closing time, but I do not think it's an excuse. I work at a restaurant myself and I cook for every client the same way regardless of the time they arrive, even if they arrive one minute before we close the kitchen. First of all, we saw that other tables were offered bread when they sat down, but they never offered to us. We asked for the provoleta to start and it came to the table cold. We had to send it back. Then, my husband asked for a tira de asado and I asked for the skirt steak, both medium rare, with side of fries. Both steaks came stone cold and blue. Even the fries were cold. Cold fries and cold meat? Come on! The meat I can understand, you probably let it rest for too long, but cold fries? You just gave me whatever you had left in your bowl because you just wanted to go home. I returned mine, which was taken from my table very rudely, my husband complained but didn't return, he just didn't eat because the whole experience was already unpleasant. We spoke to the manager and with the Chef present at that time. I would probably not come back. The only good thing was the ice creams they have at the back of the store, those were really good. read more

This place is AMAZING!!!! The drinks and food are so good. Ethan, the bartender, made the most amazing drinks - including a custom drink he made (a passionfruit lychee martini) was one of the best drinks I ever had. Plus, as a vegetarian, there were good options and the mushroom risotto was the best thing I've ever had. Cannot wait to be back!! I am from the Midwest where gelato is not very common, so when I moved to Miami, I discovered made in-house gelato! Delicious!! The skilled of the Gelatiere is very important. Lucas and his staff do a great job. There are so many flavors, and new ones are served every so often. He even serves a sugar-free Raspberry. The ambiance is relaxing, approachable, and stylish. This place is insanely good. The oysters are top-tier and the wait staff brings you whatever you want immediately. Every single dish on the menu that I've tried is delicious, so no matter what you get it is sure to please. I really like the clams and linguine. The pizzas are also delicious, and they even had an option edible for my vegan sis. If you're still hungry for dessert after their large serving sizes, you can head over to the ice cream and pastry counters if nothing else on the menu suits your taste. We've come here a few times, our dog was welcome, staff were friendly and outgoing, offering us various tabletop games like tic-tac-toe to pass the time, and once we'd both ordered a few glasses of wine, they offered us complimentary popcorn - something they normally charge for. Wines on their "by the glass" menu average about $16 each, and most staff pour them behind the bar where they have a gauge to measure out each one. The food prep area behind the bar is quite small (which is why they don't have a large menu), but so is this little gem of a wine spot in general. It's cozy, eclectic and great for a glass of wine and a small snack, or a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere. It's good for singles at the bar, or an intimate spot for couples and smaller groups. Vinoteca seems to have found their niche, and they've filled it quite nicely. That said, I'm not sure the staff, at least the ones working on the nights we've come, have a lot of knowledge about wines or are in the position to talk at length about their various selections.

We weren't expecting fine dining service and Michelin star food, but at least decent food and some attention from the server. We asked for bread 3 times and after 15 minutes we got a basket of very oily bread. We had calamari and they were tender but the batter was greasy and heavy. Then we chose the ribeye steak and a pizza. The steak came with "roasted" potatoes but they were fried and definitely undercooked, we asked for medium temperature steak and we received five chunks of rare meat and fat.
