They do have some wine you can buy by the bottle we bought a bottle. It was OK. The food overall we found to be very good every step of the way the bread that they gave us to first starter was good then the appetizers. My daughter had the Barada salad, which was very good. I had tuna bites. They were excellent. For our main course, I had Cory's combo which is a seafood combo of flounder, scallops, crabcake, and shrimp. All of these I found to be very good. The crabcake in particular was full of lump crab, and not too much of the filler. It was very well done. My daughter had the black and prime rib with baked potato. It was excellent perfectly cooked nice and tender flavorful. My wife had the fillet which she frequently orders when we go out to dinner, this one did not disappoint the texture the way it was cooked the flavoring. The sides were all excellent. We were very happy with this last minute decision and hope you find it to be the same! Good luck. I very rarely give five stars, but had a hard time finding a reason not to. Good job.

I did think it was weird that no strollers are allowed. Haven't seen that before and it didn't feel very baby-friendly. Overall, I'd still recommend LBI table.

Apparently they haven't had hot honey for weeks yet they still had it on the menu. I had to settle for a hot sauce that they probably use on chicken wings...which also wasn't that great. They didn't eat their dinner because it made them feel sick. When I asked if she seriously just accused us of lying, she walked back and said "well, the chef said this is not a mistake. This is exactly how it should taste. And maybe every restaurant is not for every person." Quite honestly, I have never been to a restaurant before where I couldn't eat my meal--and then was scolded about it! I can't even recall a time I have sent food back. And after reading the reviews, it's confirmed I'm not alone. I will say, they did take the salads off the bill, and the server (not the manager) was lovely. I gave it one star because--in between contemplating a $45 kids meal--there was enough salt in the food to make my one year old nephew finally speak. Guess what he asked for? "Water"

So let's set a few things straight on these "reviews". 1, the staff here are in fact wonderful, and being a regular I have made many friends, the security here does the job they are supposed to do, that is let the people who are here to have a good time in and keep the troublemakers out, I have sat on the patio at night and witnessed many "issues" at the door and in every case I have personally seen it's Security trying their best to be nice and drunk obstinate patrons that insist on causing an issue instead of just walking away, they don't make money turning people away, so if they do there is a reason don;t you think. The Bartenders are friendly, come when it's slow and you can actually have time to have a conversation, yes at night they are very busy and trying to make everyone happy, cut them a little slack. 2. Cover charge, Folks this is the Jersey Shore and on a 4th of July weekend what do you expect, yes it's going to be 20 bucks, Other weekends it's less, and in October when its dead it's usually free, every other bar with bands does the same thing. 3 Drinks, short of Frozen drinks you can get pretty much anything else here, they stock the same liqueurs every other bar does, it's pretty standard (except 151, ahem), in the occasional instance they don't know how to make something, they will look it up. 4. Food, food is totally on par with price, this is a Grill not a Restaurant, they don't serve prime rib no, but they serve great comfort food type dishes, Great pizza, and this is one of the sleepers on the Island for breakfast, you can wait in line for an hour at the more well known diners on a Sunday morning, or come here and usually get seated immediately and get the same breakfast without the wait. And you can eat outside on the patio.... Oh and the buffet is only Thursday. 5 the crowd, The type of crowd is totally dependent on when you go, at 5PM you will get an older crowd and it's a dinner crowd. After 10 you will get a younger crowd, and yes it's loud, if that's a problem for you then consider one of the other places in Beach haven. Also on busy nights the upstairs bar is open (check with the door first) and you can escape the crowd at the main bar. They have happy hour between 4 and 7 with half price drink specials and a happy hour menu. Yes I am a local, and yes I come here often, no I do not work here, I'm just a regular that is tired of seeing YELP used for revenge. read more

What a joke. Honestly a minor league dive bar with staff as knowledgeable as dirt. A bunch of low IQ dirt bags dance around the steps like they're celebrating the World Series as if they weren't bottom tier fake security guards overcompensating for their unimpressive display of masculinity. For whatever reason last weekend, my completely legitimate 21 year old New York ID was flagged in their cute little leap frog computer tablet as "suspicious". The old hag working the leap frog told me I could either watch him press the "call police" button or "run". Rather than dealing with overly excited rent a cops going through the adrenaline rush of their summer, I decided to walk. The short man smelt so bad anyway I had to leave. If you are on this island go somewhere where the staff is somewhat knowledgeable of anything other than Tonka trucks and crayons. To be honest though, I'm happy I could make some careers tonight. Nardi's is the worst place I have ever been to. Where does one begin to speak of such a disappointment of a place. The bus for starters was empty except one old lady prostitute who sits there everyday asking to give $1 handies. July 22nd, 2013, the first time i stepped foot into the 7th layer of hell that is Nardi's, it reeked of old dog feces not the fresh ones they haven't been able to clean up,oooohhhh no like week old white dog turds. I spotted three bouncers smoking a J outside and "juicing" to get big. They kicked my Mother out of Nardi's that evening because she ordered a simple rum and coke and gave her a used condom in a cup. It like if you dont have wooden teeth, have STD's and are at least 75 years of age and enjoy the smell of week old white dog shit, why are you their. Horrible. Stay away. Was easily one of the worst bars I've ever been to (I'm 31). The band was putrid - I think they were called Take 2. They had zero talent, the singer used an iPad for lyrics. Couldn't keep a beat at all. The cover was $15 and the bar is crap. Nothing nice or pleasant to say about the interior at all. Security guard was lame - trying to grill my girlfriend regarding her ID (she's 23 years old). The food (pizza) was terrible and I know the place has terrible food cause our serve goes "wow this actually looks like a pizza" when she delivered it to us. Uhhh what? Stay away - go to Joe Pops, Seashell, the Marlin, anywhere other than this abortion of a place. I'd give it a zero if I could. None of my group (7) had fun and would NEVER go back. read more

One of the bouncers called me a bitch and a cunt last night. Down here for Memorial Day, was outside talking to one of the bouncers and made a joke to another standing there (dark hair dark beard) because I thought he was listening to the conversation. I guess I was wrong and he was talking to someone else because he then proceeded to verbally bitch slap me saying that "not everything's about me and I need to learn to handle my liquor." Very professional...I immediately left and heard him laughing behind me, at me. This man should 100% be fired. I will never come back here again. I'm sorry you suffer from SPS, you awful person. I wish I could give this place negative 5 fives stars. This place is disgusting. The staff is racist, homophobic, and misogynistic and are very vocal about it. Do not give them your money unless you want to support views of the 1850s. They also add false tips to your check if they are not satisfied with the quantity you left. Make sure to check your bank statements after you leave if you do decide to go to this horrid location, because they will pad the bill. This is a business of slimy, cheap, racially profiling people and I would stay as far away as I could if I was you. read more

OWNER SPAT ON ME AND MANAGER CALLED MY FRIENDS AND I WHORES!!! If I could give negative 10 stars I would. They lost my friends card and when we proceeded to ask them where it was or what they were going to do to compensate for the fact that they LOST SOMEONES CREDIT CARD the manager then told me that he was going to do nothing and that we needed to get out of his bar. If I could leave a negative star I would!! These asshole need to all be arrested... They kicked my group of 11 people out because someone on the second floor opened a window... Meanwhile they charged us $20 per person (& kept it) the cops were called after they assaulted 2 of the group members. The one being escorted out was punched across the jaw when he wasn't resisting and his father was shoved down stairs after simply asking why his son was being kicked out. Came here twice while on vacation and had a great time. There's always something going on here, which worked out great for us since we were visiting off-peak season. The service was great. Mike the bartender is awesome and I hope he's still there when we come back down to visit the island!!!!! Cold tasty beers and yummy food as well. I see some haters by the amount of negative reviews, but I honestly would ignore them and check it out yourself. It's hard to imagine that a restaurant can be very classy while being at the beach and a very casual atmosphere but people were mixed in their dress with those of us who were more casual, but somewhat dressy and others who got dressed to the nines to enjoy their meal out with friends or family. We decided on the advice of Ben to get some duck confit and also some tang tang shrimp and also Nice chopped salad which was fresh and crisp and also some tacos and then we were off to the races with our entrées. We all decided to choose something different and give a little bite to each of the members of our adult party. While I had seared sea scallops my buddy had salmon. My wife chose a salad with some grilled shrimp And my buddies wife decided to have a plate of muscles that she enjoyed immensely. The staff was fantastic in that they took away dirty plates and replaced them with new ones and made sure that the kids had everything that they needed for us to enjoy a quiet and adult conversational meal. Compared to Long Island, NY the prices were really very fair and the quality of the food was very very good. My scallops were excellent and the other plates that I tried all were cooked perfectly. I want to give a special shout out to Ben, our server, for being very friendly and his demeanor while explaining the menu and offering suggestions. I really do look forward to our next trip back
