The heat had been off and I don't use oil to heat water. I won't need a drop of oil until November. Called to speak with management and the person answering the phone would not pass me along. Sent them an email requesting a call back. It's been a week now and not a word from them. I have been a customer for 18 years and this is what you get. Cancelled my account this morning, same lady answered the phone and was pretty rude. Just a word to the wise, there are much better companies out there .

After that I couldn't talk to anyone directly and this past winter they ran me out of propane 3 times and I was on automatic delivery as well as monitoring. I called Broco at 5:30 pm ( their office goes home at 5). At 5:30 I got a call back from Tom. The next morning I got set up and Ted came over and fixed everything. I also had contact with 3 others in the company that day. Broco is a local veteran owned company. They answer their phones and are ready to help. I am so pleased to be a customer of Broco, they are fantastic. After they placed the tanks and filled them my fill up was more than a dollar less per gallon than my old company. In October when I tried using the heat, it would not come on. I tried finding a reset button but couldn't, that's when I noticed the "new" pump was covered in dust. I called them and they sent a tech, who showed me how to reset, it was the actual the flashing light you had to press and hold for 10 seconds to reset, my old pump had a clear button on the side. they charged me 350 more for the visit. The pump never worked properly. The entire winter it kept shutting off every few days, eventually getting worse until it was shutting off every day. I called them again, they claimed it was the controller that was malfunctioning but they never changed that, which was a lie, it was attached to the pump and totally different from my old one, which had the button on the side, I had to pay them 350 for a tech to show me how to reset this new controller. He claimed it was irrelevant since it should still be under warranty. 3 months later I got a bill for 850 for changing the controller. I called and explained and they said they would get back to me. They never did. Instead they paid my service bill with money I paid for oil delivery, then sent me a bill for the same amount for oil delivery. all oil deliveries were paid in full the day after delivery. It's a lie and scam to get me to pay for a junk pump. When I try and call they hang up on me.

(furnace/oil tank approx 40+ y.o) After three repairs in two months Nick went over our options for a new oil tank, water heater and boiler. We knew we were pushing our luck and needed to replace all them very soon. What we loved was there was zero pressure. Nick just stated the facts, as any professional should, to make sure we knew things would only get worse, not better. Finally, four months later, it was time. I contacted Ellie at the office and she was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and patient in answering our many questions over the following days. The day of installation could not have gone any better. Ellie communicated with us throughout the day. The crew arrived on time, explained to us what the plans were for the day and then went straight to work. We looked in on them twice during the day to see if they needed anything and the next thing we knew they were calling us down to see our sparkling new boiler, tank and water heater! Wow!! In those previous transactions I felt like I was working for my agent, instead of my agent working for me. I walked away from both of those transactions with a bad taste in my mouth about RE agents and a general overall feeling of sleaziness about the whole industry. In my most recent home purchase Sharon Seabury changed my perception of the RE industry completely. Well at least the small part of it that she occupies. The woman was a true professional and couldn't have worked harder on my purchase. Her previous professional experience both in the business & technology sectors is another great example of what makes her standout from the RE agent crowd. She just doesn't look at the transaction as solely an RE transaction, she looks at it from every angle. My purchase was a bit of an unusual situation and Sharon was "on" night & day seven days a week. She was extremely responsive to my queries and was on top of the mortgage company and the sellers agent from day one to insure everything was being done properly and on time. After selling my last house I swore I would never use an RE agent to sell a house again and would use a sold by owner service. Well if I go to sell my current home and Sharon Seabury is still in the RE business I will give her my house to sell.

Liars. Shady, lying liars…read more My husband and I wasted what felt like an eternity trying to buy a house from a seller using Connor Real Estate and they were impossible to deal with. The Connor agents that our real estate agent worked with told her that they could help us find an insurance company that would insure a house with knob and tube wiring (and they could help us finance it), they told us that the wiring did not need to be replaced; they told us that it had been replaced (it hadn't). They also refused to update the status of the house in MLS, despite having a signed contract on the house; refused to assist in getting useful answers to questions like "who owns the retaining wall in the backyard?" and "how old is that water filter in the kitchen?". In the end, the house needed more work than we were willing to put in and trying to negotiate the purchase was no longer worth our time, so we walked away and bought a much nicer house in a better neighborhood. To top it all off, after we walked, Connor's agents updated the MLS listing to state that the deal had fallen through because the buyers had credit issues and lost their financing - a straight up lie.

We must have seen over 200 houses-starting with thinking we would buy a foreclosure for like 100 grand and fix it up, to maybe something more complete in Lynn for 150. We looked in Salem, Beverly, Marblehead, Ipswitch, Gloucester, Peabody, Saugus & Wenham. Our ideas and requirements changed daily and Colleen was awesome, always available to answer our questions, show us the listings we wanted to see but also finding whatever it was we wanted that week! After one home inspection that went bad, we continued and ultimately bought a completely renovated home in Wenham near Pleasant Pond thanks to Colleen! She assisted us every step of the way, getting financing under extremely rigid deadlines, following up with appraisers, mortgage lenders.
