The place is super easy to find. You walk in and feel like you're in a cozy place. The staff was super friendly and on top of filling your drink without even having to ask. The pho was decent and definitely great for the price. The bean sprouts and Thai basil come in the pho. They have siracha and hoisin. You can ask for chili paste as well!

Location: Kansas City Kansas Ambiance: Nice clean place. Family oriented. Food: very poor. Sorry. Fried calamari as you can see in the picture was very blunt. Small pieces. Sauce was ok. Sushi: not better. Tuna was yucky. Rice was too pasty. Tom Yum. I ordered the rice version. Seafood. As you can see in the picture. They put 5 shrimps and 3 calamari. No more. Rice was ok but very underwhelming. Service: great. The main reason along with a clean place to give 2.5 to 3 stars.

hands down the best nigiri from any sushi place i've ever had! they're huge, so plump and delicious. like if i ever crave sushi this is the first place i think of. paired with a glass of thai tea ughh like so good. they also have soup, curry, rice at amazing prices and portions! the service is quick easy and they're super attendant! quick with refills and food comes out fast. thanks to the chefs and staff :3 the place is comfy filled with many booths and green decor. seriously can't get enough of this place :) ps. my sister wanted me to say that she's obsessed with the eel at this place!

Ambiance: I've been here a few times and this was the first time where I was disappointed in the portions, flavor, and service. We came on a Saturday for lunch and the waitress seated all of the tables in one section of the restaurant. Service: The waitress had little opinion on the most popular dishes on the menu and did not check on us during our meal for water refills. Food: the portions were small but plated on large plates. The pork ribs were flavorless and the papaya salad lacked tamarind and sugar, it was mostly fishy. Maybe it was just an off day? But I will return because I remember it being better before.

My first visit to Naree Kitchen was when I was in a rush and grab a lunch to go, and I was NOT disappointed! I had a bunch of people recommend this location to me, so I stopped by and it lived to the hype! The food was fantastic even as take out, and was greeted with a nice atmosphere and welcoming staff! First off, the inside of this place is amazing. I love all the greenery. The menu has a variety of different foods. We got a lot of dishes lol. Really enjoyed the cucumber salad . The cucumber underneath was a new twist I haven't seen before. And it tasted amazing. I got the beef pho . It was not traditional. It was very very clover heavy. I didn't like that. The beef was not the thin slices. Usually it comes raw and you cook it with the broth and noodles but this time it was thick chewy beef . Which was not bad. It still tasted pretty good but just not traditional. The large was effing hugeeeee okay. My god. The medium is normally what I think is a large lol. Everything else was great!

Note, I'm a crazy pho eater that has to have pho from all over. I travel far and in between the states. Eating from LA, Vegas, MN, WI, MI, IL, OH, Manhattan, FI, KS, MS, GA, canada, etc. I make reviews after tasting their pho. I know what pho is good and what is fake! Being Hmong, I try not to be bias, "only Vietnamese people can cook pho! The restaurant started from a Vietnamese owner." Naree kitchen thai and sushi I got a recommendation from a friend about this place. Not bad. Very busy. Lots of Hmong people. They serve your typical Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese food. Some Hmong food too. Pho broth is pretty decent but the Hmong workers don't know how to properly present the pho correctly, or just don't care. Pho presentation is key! My granddaughter had the chicken and rice combo which had great flavor. Sticky rice is served with most combos! My son, daughter, and I had the pho combo, which was good. No issues. We also had the Pad Thai which was good. Laos papapya was ok too. I have one negative: that door. Omg. With the cold draft, it gets pretty cold. Man. The constant open and close of the door is definitely effecting the heat bill. Build a small wall to reduce the negative air, help reduce the heat cost, and provide a warm atmosphere for the customers. In the summer months, it must be bad for the AC too. All in all, nice decor. Good workers. Happy environment. Will gladly come again. Lastly, the large pho bowl is huge! Highly recommended

Small cozy place. Great service. My favorite out of the five dishes I ordered was spicy crab salad. Pad Thai was very saucy and the noodles was mushy. I had to use a fork to scoop up the noodles. Chicken satay was a bit plain, but the peanut sauce was really flavorful. Both sushi rolls were falling apart. It was hard to eat in one bite so we didn't really get to enjoy the sushi. I am planning to come back to check out other items.

First time coming here for lunch. Order the Thai spring rolls. The order comes with two and it cost me $7.09. They're about as big as my hand. They were ready in less than 5 minutes and tasted fresh-definitely some of the best spring rolls around here that I've had so far. The staff was very nice. The restaurant was quiet and welcoming; nothing fancy. I will be back to try other items from their menu soon!

Super impressed. Not the best area so I was shocked with the quality of food we had. The Pho was amazing and in a bowl the size of your head for only $11.95. The sushi.. wow. Amazing and fresh. I've been here 3 times and this place is amazing! The casino roll and New Orleans roll are great. The crab wontons are amazing. The Pham see eew is GREAT! Plus they have a bar which is perfect! Certainly a gem in KCK. read more

This place is definitely a hole in the wall gem! I would never assume that Kansas City, Kansas would have such a great little spot. From the few times I've been here, the service has always been excellent. The owners are great and are super friendly! The food is made with love and you can taste it! Narees kitchen has amazing service and very good reasonable sushi! I'm so excited to have a place locally and in a good area! I frequent this place often! The egg drop soup is awesome and has to be ordered every single time!!!! Along with the Sushi, their dinner plates are good as well! Curry shrimp is amazing! It's never super busy and that could be good and bad! Good because service is A1...But bad, fear of not enough business! But I'm telling you, that will change soon! Don't let the strip mall location fool you, the inside of the establishment isn't the best but the food and service is great. Priced very well with a variety of food items. The sushi rolls are not as good as other places but it's still decent for the price. Overall a good place. read more

We ordered the pad Thai, Thai noodle soup, and spring rolls. Pad Thai was good, but Baramee has a better plate as the flavor is blunted in Naree's version. Still a good take on the Thai standard dish. The Thai noodle soup was fantastic. The broth is similar to pho with more cilantro and garlic tones. The noodles are generous portion. We ordered a medium and would have gladly split it between the two of us. The spring rolls were the best part of the meal. Huge and stuffed to the top with fresh shrimp and noodles- the veggies weren't stale which was a major plus. The restaurant is small, but hip in style. Booths are closed off to account for social distancing but the vibe is still intimate enough for a date and casual enough for a family dinner. Service was superb. Overall, great meal and ambiance. read more

The staff was very nice. The rest was also very clean. The food was of a good quality and came out quickly. We never felt rushed through the entire process. They also have the best pho that we have found in KC so far. Overall, if you ever need to apologize to someone, this place will definitely start to mend hearts in the right direction. Yelp suggested this place to me and, wow was it great! Clean little place in KCK, it was a 30 min drive for us, and we'll come back! Service was great and the food was pretty amazing. We do a fair amount of Asian/fusion/sushi type foods, and this was among the top. The only food we had not pictured was the half and half salad (seaweed/octopus), and that's because my hubs literally inhaled it without taking a breath. Hubs said the Hot and sour soup was "the best I've ever had". Sushi was fresh and I appreciated that they had a roll without rice on the menu. Spring rolls were pretty good size...they could probably use another shrimp in each. As another reviewer said, their peanut sauce is incredible...not spicy, so great with the satay (delish, not dry)for my kid. BIG bowl of Edamame, and the kind of crab wontons where you don't just eat the middle and leave the corners (pet peeve, btw ). My other kid loved the orange chicken, it was fluffy and crispy at the same time. Pad see eau my hubs got was also great, (lots of meat!) but beware, they aren't messing around with the spices. He ordered "hot" , which he said was like Thai hot at most other places, so he was sweating and crying his way through it! He said next time he'd step it down, and he's usually a "thai hot" guy. read more

Not sure how we have missed this place!! It was incredible!! Had three of their sushi rolls, all were prepared fresh and tasted great! My son had their honey chicken and fried rice, best chicken I have had from an Asian place ever!! And we topped it off with some crab ragoons. Filled to the brim with cream cheese and crab! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!! read more

Whoa, who knew that I can have the best of both world! SUSHI + THAI FOOD in ONE place! This place is definitely underrated. Sushi was fresh and delicious, Thai food was legit (but the spice isn't as spicy as other Thai place) they have quite a variety too, from pho, boat noodles etc.. customer service is friendly and consistent. Price is reasonable & parking is easy! read more

I've tried sushi from all over the U.S. It sounds like an over exaggeration, but it's the truth, this is by far the best I've ever had. Oh and their Gyoza, perfection. Clean, and well kept restaurant with hard working employees. Not only did the restaurant exceed my expectations, the food was fantastic! Instead, I ordered pork dumplings to take home since those are another one of her favorite foods. Unfortunately, those were just as disappointing. She took one bite and said they were the worst dumplings she'd ever had. I spoke with our server about my meal, and after leaving the restaurant I called and left a voicemail for a manager. I wasn't calling just to complain--I genuinely wanted to discuss my experience, see if a refund was possible, and I was even willing to come back and give another dish a try if they wanted the opportunity to make it right. Unfortunately, no one ever returned my call. The lack of follow-up was just as disappointing as the food. Good customer service doesn't end when a customer walks out the door, and I expected at least a return phone call. Based on this experience, I won't be returning. I really wanted to love this place, but between the disappointing food and the lack of response from management, I just can't recommend it.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I specifically ordered a vegetarian tofu Pad Thai, which clearly means no meat or fish. However, my dish was served with fish sauce. When I politely pointed this out to the waitress, she responded with passive-aggressive behavior but assured me she would bring the correct dish. Unfortunately, the replacement still contained fish sauce, so I chose to let it go. I was hungry so I ordered a veggie roll, expecting to dine in. However, the waitress brought it in a to-go container along with the check, without me requesting takeout. When I asked about it, she became even more aggressive and visibly annoyed. Her attitude throughout the entire experience was rude, dismissive, and condescending. I escalated the issue to the manager, but instead of addressing my concerns, they defended her actions. It was clear that customer service is not a priority here. Overall, the service was unprofessional and disrespectful, making for an unpleasant dining experience. I recently dined at Naree's Kitchen, and I have to say, it's a hidden gem for sure. I am a big fan of papaya salad, and most Thai places in the city can't make it right. But Naree has a Thai/Lao fusion and I love it, top 3 in the city for me. Another highlight is the Larb, which, in my opinion, is one of the best in the city. The seasoning is spot on, with a perfect balance of herbs and spices that make every bite a delight. The fried ribs were decent, though they didn't quite match the excellence of the salads (Papaya and Larb). They were well-cooked but lacked a bit of the punch I was hoping for. Still, they were enjoyable enough as a part of the overall meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. Naree's Kitchen is definitely worth a visit, I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu! read more

I was in Wyandotte Kansas due to work looking for a decent place to eat lunch that doesn't have a drive-thru and saw this place in my peripherals!!! Based on their reviews I decided to give them a chance and I am glad I did!!! I love trying new cuisines and baaaaaaaaaby that Basil Fried Rice (add protein, I did shrimp) was something special!!!!!!! I also tried the spicy crab salad and it did not disappoint!
