There are only several tables so a reservation, especially for a large group, is highly recommended. There were 7 of us and we chatted the entire time. The restaurant even prints their menu with slow service snail logo. Because of our party size, we were there for nearly 3 hours while other smaller tables finished sooner. The best items we tried were the mushroom fonduta appetizer, mushroom Wellington, burgers, flourless chocolate cake, and bread pudding dessert. I would consider going for another special occasion!

There's a self serve water station so we relaxed and took in the ambiance. There's food emphasizes fresh ingredients and the burger and chicken sandwich did not disappoint. The burger is vegetarian friendly and comes with a good portion of kale slaw. The chicken sandwich was stacked tall and super filling. Would recommend to try!

What made it more frustrating was watching nearby tables--many seated after us--receive their meals, finish, and even turn over while we were still waiting. We finally left around 7:30 p.m., feeling very disappointed. The food at Cooper's Hawk is consistently excellent, which is why this experience was so discouraging. There were also billing issues: I had a birthday reward and several wine bottles through my membership available, yet the wine was still charged to our bill and the birthday reward wasn't applied until I pointed it out. Although part of it was corrected, we still ended up paying for the bottle that should have been included. We usually enjoy wonderful visits here, and Cooper's Hawk remains one of my favorite restaurants.
