so 2.5 years ago my apartment flooded. all my stuff was picked up in a van by the insurance company and I found myself in a hotel with stacks of insurance money. I had this ring, appraised value of 850$ I'm reading the appraisal right now. but the ring reminded me of a guy I don't really like. so I thought I'll go down to this massive jewelry emporium and sell it. the lady in her black sweater paid me $80 for the ring with a smile on her face. glad I could help pay for your massive overhead, all those salaries and insurance and payments on your rediculous showroom. $80 for a 6.9 gram 14k ring, they probably would have given me $140 in the diamond district of NYC. I don't miss the ring. it puts a sort of smirk on my face, thinking about Jewelry and how people think it's a good investment, when in fact you will never get even close to the spot price on any piece. Chances are you'll lose your platinum band at the beach, or whatever. you'd be better off to buy a gold nugget on eBay than what you think is valuable. this place is a step up from the lead and cadmium gold clad jewelry of Zales at the mall, that's why you get one star, out of 5. read more

I purchased my wifes engagement band and wedding ring at Nasers almost 20 years ago and since then have taken it for inspections and cleanings. This year was an eye opener. Eli actually looked at the stones and the rings and said that the platinum was so worn that my wife was at risk wearing her diamond it was very loose. He then showed me under the microscope how worn the set was. Eli took the time and showed us our options as to what we could do to fix the rings that were worn and prevent stones from falling out. I had to exchange the engagement ring because it was too small and was not sizable (they told him this.) We returned in the store within the 30 day exchange window. After being a bit overwhelmed and not thrilled with anything available, I said I wanted to come back. No, they didn't offer to order anything. Donna said they do not like credits going past 30 days. So, I chose the best I could. She said we could make it smaller if I decided it was still too loose. First time I went to have it checked, the jeweler said it fit well. The second time I went to see what wedding ring went well, looked at it and said, "this is the old design, when did you get it?" We got it about 5 months before (so they were trying to get rid of an old design!) He also said it was too loose and they could not size it, They had to send it back and charge me $150. This was never mentioned or we would not have chosen this ring. Choosing an engagement ring should have been a wonderful experience. Instead I'm left with a ring I'm not thrilled with. I'd never buy from them again. They were not looking out for me, they were looking for a sale. read more

My husband and I went in to look at diamond earrings as a gift for my special birthday and had called up to speak with Elie to let them know that my husband and I were coming up from the Boston area to visit their Salem NH location. The most helpful staff around! I was so happy with my experience at Naser's Diamonds. We were given my mother's engagement ring but we wanted our own setting. I was very picky and spent quite a lot of time looking. Marie was unbelievably patient and helpful. Eventually, I had it narrowed down to 3 settings but couldn't choose. This is where Naser's shines... they helped me custom make the perfect balance of all 3 settings. My ring is now one of a kind and simply perfect. I was so very happy. I received great service but felt deceived after i left. i went in to get a pair of earings for my long time girlfriend. I thought i had found a great pair, and although she does love them the manager would move on price at all saying yellow gold was worth more, after my salesman just said the opposite. when i got home i found the same earrings on multiple online stores including wal mart!!! it had them for $130 less. I was just a guy trying to get my GF a nice present and i felt duped by the company. I have friends who overpaid for similar products (wedding rings). I just felt taken advantage of and should have done more research, I would not suggest doing business with them in the future. The offerings are overpriced, and to my dismay mass marketed stuff! very disappointed and feel ripped off. it was my fault for not walking away but I would never go back! I havent got a response from them, but they should credit me difference (my gf came home crying form work so i gave them to her early).
