Ordered a few of them and some carne asada. Unfortunately, it seemed like the al pastor was lacking in flavor and was a bit too lean and dry. The carne asada came out better. Not sure if it was an off-day, but was not how I remembered it when I used to go all the time before covid. May give it another shot at some point.

The daughter loved her nachos but she likes everything. My flautas wasn't flautas it was taquitos. Flautas are usually bigger and more meat inside. A thicker version of taquitos with flour tortilla. This one has corn tortilla. It's ok it was alright tasting. Park either on the street or a do a quick park at Vons but be careful they may tow your car.

I got the aguachile negro, a fish al pastor taco, and a soft shell crab taco. She wasn't kidding - the aguachile was fantastic although I will have to go mild next time. The tacos had really great flavors and textures. A truly wonderful meal. I would say this place is a hidden gem but honestly, it's front and center in a very busy part of a very busy area. Nashfin has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is incredible, and the fish sandwich alone is worth the trip. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and seasoned so well that every bite is packed with flavor. The Cajun seasoning here is on another level--bold, flavorful, and balanced perfectly. You get that mix of savory, salty, a little sweetness, and that rich umami flavor that keeps you coming back for more. And the mac and cheese? Absolutely ridiculous. Easily a 10/10. I've caught myself drinking the sauce... What really sets this place apart, though, is the owners. You can tell this isn't just a business to them. The fabulous duo are some of the kindest people you'll meet, and it's obvious they're passionate about both the food and taking care of their customers. They genuinely seem to love what they do, and that comes through in every interaction and every plate that comes out of the kitchen. Great food is one thing, but great food paired with people who truly care makes all the difference. If I could eat here every day, I probably would. I swung by Nashfin's food truck at 2515 W Sunset Blvd in Echo Park after a friend insisted I had to try it, even though I don't eat cooked fish. Let me just say--mind blown! The vibe at this spot is pure LA, with a lively crowd and that food truck energy that makes you feel like you're in on something special. The staff was super welcoming, quick with suggestions, and clearly love what they do. I went for the sliders, and wow, I polished them off in record time! They were crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor--my friend was right, these are next-level. The lavender lemonade was a total standout, freshly squeezed with a perfect floral-tart balance that's honestly the best I've had in LA. And the pistachio donuts? Unreal. Crispy outside, fluffy and nutty inside, with just the right touch of glaze--I could've eaten a dozen. Incredibly delicious and flavorful. The spices are fantastic and the hotness levels are fire . Super friendly ppl, cool to joke around with, they do get busy though but the wait is extremely reasonable, which i would love to wait 10 mins for some good quality fresh food not microwaved crap they serve other places. Their homemade sauces and that lavender homemade lemonade hits the spot! And they have those donut like dessert, (drool). Oh they Also offered to taste their mac and cheese... OMG I ordered large size to go! Seriously rare find of Nashville in LA. it was fun to hangout there too. Cute seating arrangement W fire and string lights. This place is the Howlin Ray's for Nashville Hot Fish. Gary, is a genius! The spiced fish sandwiches were a masterpiece of blended flavors that left my dining partner and I repeating the same mantra...."Wow." The fries, which take over seven hours to make, were some of the best seasoned fries of all time. Adidas created their own set of Howlin Ray's shoes. Gary should be prepared for his. Best fish sandwich I have had in along time. Was driving on Sunset Blvd with my wife and kids debating what to have for dinner. Luckily, we came across Nashfin. It was very easy to park since they have a large parking spot, a few tables and chairs to enjoy your meal rather than standing, and the food was beyond great. Read some good reviews on Royal Lobster, so had to come by today. There's a limited amount daily, so I've decided to save some time and order online. Got the 5oz lobster roll, as I've read that their regular (3.5oz) lobster roll was too small. So glad I did! The lobster roll was filled with fresh, tender, moist, not overcooked, briny lobster meat. The brioche was toasted with butter, warm and lightly crispy. However, the lobster was served chilled with warm butter on the side. This was more closer to a Maine-style lobster roll, yet no mayo was added. It seems they did not prefer what style of lobster roll to serve, as neither Maine nor Connecticut style was specified. Given they gave you a side of mayo, I think they left it to the customer to choose. Nonetheless this was delicious! So satisfying! If you're craving for a lobster roll, this place will not disappoint! Came with sides of freshly fried kettle chips, which were lightly salted, deliciously crispy and crunchy. They have an AYCE guac and salsa bar, which the staff definitely encourages you to take advantage of. But honestly, the tacos don't even need anything on them. The meat is so flavorful on its own. I'd almost just bring some chips next time so I can go crazy at the guac bar They have plenty of outdoor seating, tons of cold drinks, and their own horchata bottled. The whole vibe is awesome and the workers seemed genuinely happy and friendly, which always makes a difference. Definitely coming back!

Pulled up around 8 after seeing LA Taco write em up and unfortunately they had run out of asada…read more Decided to stick around and wait for the emergency batch to get delivered. Very dope to be selling out immediately. Because of the wait the guys working started cranking out beef chicharron tacos to feed the people for free. Once again very dope. When the asada finally pulled up for all of us chilling in the parking lot, the owner (I think) made a nice lil announcement thanking us for our patience. The beef chicharron tacos were pretty fire, first one I got was really good but second one felt a bit like it had been sitting for a sec. No worries tho, free and we're here for the asada. The asada was insane. Extremely tender little medium rare cubes and the mesquite flavoring from the smoke took it over the top. Make sure to hit the salsa bar, pickled onions were bomb. Waited probably close to an hour from pulling up to eating the first asada taco, and I am very happy with that decision. Homie at the front blessed me with a couple free asada tacos, so my total on the day was 5 tacos for the price of one. Gave em a nice tip tho don't worry. Next time I'll be smacking a burrito, looks gas.
