So apparently, this is a LOBSTER ROLL shop from Hawaii. Even if it wasn't, it's still worth a visit because their lobster roll is GREAT! The brioche roll is fluffy and generously buttered. The lobster is in fairly large chunks -- large enough to be recognizable. Seems like it's even a whole small lobster too. Also got the LOBSTER SALAD which was delicious. Especially for a salad. But really, if you're not worried about the calory counting, you should really eat the lobster roll instead. It took a moment to figure out where to order, who to order from. But you go to the "gas station" part of the shop and not the "garage" to order. Then you wait or sit at one of the outdoor tables or choose an indoor one inside the "garage" and someone will bring you your order.

Yup - it's worth the hype! And yes, it's pretty pricey but it's high quality lobster so it's worth it. We had the lobster roll, the bread it came was so tasty. The lobster didn't have any sauce or Mayo on it but the natural flavor of the lobster was delicious. Easy parking. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was very good!

Royal Lobster LA serves up the best lobster rolls I've had on the West Coast -- no contest. The lobster is incredibly fresh, tender, and full of flavor, packed into a perfectly toasted roll with a rich, garlicky aioli that ties it all together. The location adds to the charm -- it's tucked inside a converted old gas station, which gives it a cool, one-of-a-kind feel. The owner is super friendly and clearly takes pride in what he's serving, which makes the experience even better. Every visit has been consistently excellent, and it's one of those spots I'll keep coming back to again and again.

Probably the best lobster roll I've ever had. Service was super fast and good as well. It was a gas station converted into this restaurant which was cool

If you're looking for a good lobster roll in LA, this is a must try! Would also recommend trying their lobster bisque soup & lobster salad! Portions are generous and the lobster tastes fresh. There wasn't a wait and overall, a great vibe and they have seating available inside.

It's cool that they use fresh lobster instead of frozen. I can't tell it makes that big of a difference though. The bread is cold and not toasted like other places do it. It is also served with potato chips which in my opinion is a huge letdown. I'd much prefer French fries. The Cole slaw is very mayonnaisey but in all honesty the lobster roll is what we came for. The whole thing just seems sorta mid. The temperature isn't right. The man working there were fine. He wasn't overly nice and definitely was not rude in anyway. Just took my order and that was the end of it. Ambience is on the side of a busy street in what feels like a regular street in LA. It can be noisy from cars and the people passing by can vary depending on if you come in the day or night. We came at night and felt a little unsafe due to some people around.

This place is a hidden gem you need to try. On the outside it looks like a gas station because they took over an old one and kept the style. Pretty cool. Anyway, the worker told us they fly in fresh Maine lobster, and you can absolutely taste the difference -- sweet, tender, and perfectly chilled. It's the real deal! I ordered the 7oz roll and it was well worth the price. The roll is packed generously and served the classic way: lightly dressed to let the lobster shine, with a buttery, toasted bun that's just the right balance of crisp and soft. Honestly, it's right up there with the best roll I tried near Boston many many years ago. Give them a try!

Royal Lobster LA is hands down one of the best hidden gems in Koreatown. You wouldn't expect a gourmet lobster roll to come out of an old gas station, but that's exactly what makes this place special: no frills, just quality. I ordered the classic lobster roll, and it blew me away. The lobster is flown in from Maine and you can taste the freshness in every buttery bite. The roll itself is lightly toasted, buttery, and soft. Nothing is over-seasoned or drowned in sauce!! Just pure lobster, warm clarified butter, and a perfect brioche bun. They also offer a house-made mayo on the side, which I didn't think I'd use... but ended up loving. Their lemonade is very good as well I would highly recommend ordering it with your meal.

The lobster here is incredibly fresh and juicy--flown in daily from Maine and Boston. They don't skimp on portions either; the lobster is piled high and literally overflowing from the bun, so you get a satisfying bite every time. The brioche bun is perfectly buttery and soft. There's also a nice indoor dining area if you'd rather sit inside.

3.5 oz. Lobster Roll. $34. Was lacking flavor.

Super small parking spot, staff were not friendly, and lobster was lacking flavor even when I added the mayo on the side. Wouldn't recommend.

Stop by for lunch with my son. I think this was an old gas station turned into food greatness. Ordered to lobster rolls that came with chips and coleslaw. Lobster roll was the star of the show served chilled with warm butter. I usually don't like cold butter this was yummy and I'd you add the old bayt seasoning on top takes over the top. It. Sales at market rate so a bit pricey. Definitely recommend.

One day my husband and I were in a Waymo with friends, and I saw this big old-school gas station lobster sign and I literally did a double take and yelled, "WAIT... does that say LOBSTER??" Everyone brushed it off. Fast forward a day or two later, my husband and I are trying to figure out where to eat. I casually say "seafood," we start scrolling TikTok saves, and somehow we land on someone reviewing that same lobster spot. I was like OMG NO WAY it's fate. So we go. First of all, for an ADHD girlie like me, a menu with only three options??? PERFECT. We got the lobster roll plate with a soda and WHEN I TELL YOU... when I tell you this was the BEST lobster I've ever had in my life. Juicy. Flavorful. Perfect. And the coleslaw??? Don't even get me started on the SLAW. Where are they getting this lobster from... heaven??? Anyways. 10/10. New favorite lobster roll place. Go try it. Period.

$36 Roll with Coleslaw and Chips. Bisque $10. Good amount of Lobster for sure.

The Lobster is absolutely delicious, thick and meaty; it's worth it. Friendly service. I was just driving by and noticed this small cute Lobster restaurant. It's a small kiosk with outdoor dinning on the corner of Hogart and Beverly. I'm definitely returning for that Lobster again. Bisque is good not salty very creamy but had a tiny piece of lobster so I put some from my bun into the soup. Coleslaw was not my cup of tea, not creamy and fresh for 12 noon order, for me that's not a deal breaker but wish it was good. No jokes just nice bun, warm butter and Lobster parking on the street and in the lot, it's like an in and out (to go style) but still got a nice sitting outside.
