    Spicy chicken

Depending if you have a car or not this location is a nightmare or not... Parking is very difficult! Food is the same as the Woodside location including the service time..... Slooow! Be patient and enjoy. Love the gravy & fried chicken. My favorite is the peach pie!

This is the newest location of the Filipino fried chicken chain. I've been to their other Queens location in Woodside a few times before. This one is much bigger - about double the size. They offer the same great taste. I'm a fan of the fried chicken, which is very crispy and just as good as Popeye's in my opinion. Their sweet spaghetti is also delicious and another solid choice. Their menu is a little more diverse than American fried chicken places though. You can also get adobo rice, burgers, peace mango pies, pancit palabok, and more. I would avoid going to this location during the weekends though. It's way too crowded at that time.

As far as a fast food restaurant goes, Jollibee is one of my favorites. Along with many people I'm sure, I have been waiting for this location to open for quite some time. They have been in construction for what seems like forever. Well, they finally opened last Friday 8/22/2025. After one week in operations, I was able to take my family there last night for dinner. When we arrived, there was a line of about a dozen customers, but it moved quickly. There were about 4-5 servers at the cash register handling orders, while there was a separate online order pickup area. Behind the counter was the open kitchen where we saw 10+ workers prepping and making our food. Another 3-4 servers were walking around the dining area helping customers and cleaning up. From the moment we arrived till we received our meal was under 10 minutes. For a store that's just opened, they were extremely efficient. Let's talk about the food. If you never had Chickenjoy, then where have you been? Jollibee is the Filipino's version of Popeyes. Comparatively speaking, I believe their fried chicken is on par with Popeyes and possibly better in some regards. One thing in particular I like is the taste of the meat due to whatever brine or marinade they use. Another thing I notice is how it feels slightly less greasy than Popeyes. In the end, both products are good, but I am currently leaning towards Chickenjoy by a hair. Fyi, this location only sells both regular and spicy Chickenjoy in buckets of six pieces individually or with sides. No bigger buckets are currently available. An interesting note I took away from yesterday was that I prefer their original Chickenjoy over the spicy. That's unusual, but for some reason, it tastes juicier and more tender every time I had both. Can't explain it, but I have thought this way for a while now, so I will continue to observe this trend. Another interesting part of Jollibee for many customers is their assortment of unique side items. This location does not have Palabok, but does carry their popular Jolly Spaghetti and Adobo Rice. I personally don't love any of them, but dunking the fried chicken in their delicious gravy is certainly different. I don't prefer it myself, but will do so every once in a while. What's better is to use it with the fluffy biscuits. That I really enjoy. Lastly, when it comes to their sweets, we thought both Peach Mango Pie and Ube Pie were yummy. The Guava Quencher was pretty good, while the Guava Freeze didn't have as strong of a guava flavor but still tasted good. A pretty strong finish to an overall wonderful meal.

It's not often that I get to eat Jollibee, so whenever I do get the opportunity, I get excited. When it comes to fast food chicken, I often go back and forth between Popeyes and Jollibee as to which I prefer more. For me, there are several Popeyes locations within two miles, so it's more readily available. So when this Jollibee location opened up a few months ago--just under five miles away--I wanted to check it out. I finally had the chance to visit. The interior was clean, similar to other Jollibees, but the customer service was terrible. How many times do I have to say my name and show my phone to confirm my order? By the time the third person asked--with a nasty tone--I had to tell them I already showed the first two, and one of them even looked like they were packing my food. If it had been busy, I might have understood, but there were only five of us waiting for food. The attitude felt completely unnecessary. As I mentioned, the place is a bit under five miles away--not the easiest trip. So when I got home and opened my bag, I was even more annoyed to find my order was incorrect. I clearly ordered Adobo Rice, but instead, I got Steamed Rice. Sorry, but going back on the Van Wyck to the LIE is not an easy drive. If you haven't tried Jollibee yet, I still say give it a shot--but be cautious about this location.

This was my third visit to this Jollibee, but the first time ordering takeout -- and unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience. We placed a big order: Chickenjoy in both Original and Hot & Spicy flavors, complete with their iconic flavorful gravy that instantly reminded me of home in the Philippines. We also got the Jolly Spaghetti with its distinct sweet banana ketchup sauce and red sausages, plus the Palabok, which was flavorful and satisfying on its own. So food-wise? No complaints. Everything was just as delicious and nostalgic as I expected. But the takeout packaging -- that's where things fell apart. For an order that cost over $80, all our food was handed to us in a plain brown paper bag with NO HANDLES. The buckets of chicken are bulky and heavy, so carrying them in those bags was a nightmare. I noticed several sturdy brown bags with handles sitting near the prep area, so I asked for one. The staff said those are only for online orders -- and if I wanted one, I'd have to buy it! What really annoyed me was that no one mentioned this "option" or extra fee when I placed the order. With the amount I spent and the size of the food containers, the least they could do is provide bags with handles for free -- especially since this branch is located right by a subway and bus station in NYC, where most customers are commuters. My child helped me carry the food, but we both had to hug the bags to keep them from ripping. It was stressful and awkward, and honestly ruined the excitement of surprising the family with a big Jollibee meal. So here's my takeaway (no pun intended): If you're planning a large takeout order, think twice -- it's not travel-friendly at all. Jollibee, I love your food, but for the prices we pay, please invest in proper takeout bags with handles. Your customers (and their arms) will thank you.

Honestly it is so disheartening to give Jollibee a 4 star rating because I think it partially had to do with my ordering. So to start off, the staff was extremely sweet and they all had a smile on their faces and were super patient as I was trying to decide what to eat. The store was nice and clean with bright lightning and multiple places for people to sit and enjoy their meal fresh. We tried the Guava refresher which was soooo good. It was super refreshing, not too sweet and the guava flavor was nice and pungent. Definitely a must try! The fries were okay but I wish they were a little bit crispier. The jolly spaghetti is always a favorite for me so I had no complaints other than wanting more (but I did get it as a side). Then moving over to the disappointing part of the meal. The Korean Bbq was a new flavor that they were promoting and I believe it was for a limited time only so I had to try it. Huge mistake, I should've just gotten their regular chicken with gravy which would've been delicious as it always is. The Bbq flavor was just too sweet and had no smokiness or kick of spice. My boyfriend and I both hated it and ended up taking off the skin (the best part) so that we could at least enjoy the chicken. Then we finished off with the classics peach mango pie which is my favorite and the ube pie which I thought was just okay but that was just a personal preference since I thought it tasted kind of like cheesecake and I do not like cheesecake. My boyfriend enjoyed the ube pie so he finished that with no complaints. Overall, I will be back again. I just don't know if I can trust anymore different chicken flavors.

Ordered the combo (~$20 for 6 big pieces of chicken and 2 drinks), 2 appetizers, ube pie, and mango pie. Chicken (original)- skin was crispy, meat was juicy. A bit salty though. The gravy is addicting. Couldn't finish the chicken so had some leftovers... was still good the next day! Drinks- lychee iced tea & guava iced tea. Both were super sweet. I preferred the guava over lychee, but had to dilute both drinks due to the high sugar content. Apps- mashed potatoes and fries. Small portion of mashed potatoes with lots of gravy, tastes okay. Fries were so so... kind of soggy and flavorless. Pies- crispy with decent filling. I preferred the mango over the ube. Service- nice, fast, and efficient. The place was super busy with tons of orders, but we didn't have to wait too long as they have a large team in the kitchen, taking orders, and assembling completed orders. Interior: bright and clean, with tables that can fit larger groups. Overall, the chicken was the best item we ordered. I'd definitely go back for that and maybe the pies. 3.5, rounding up.

While I would like to say good things about this place, I think I'd had to give it another go here. I'm so happy to see this place finally open and glad to see it has a even bigger space than the one in Woodside. I came in pretty early on a Saturday morning (like 30 min after it opened), the decor is cute and spacious. Thinking I was only going to get a peach mango pie, it would be a quick and easy seamless process as I've seen the amount of pies on hand (and employees). No. I was the next in line, and there was two cashiers. One was handling another customer (which she forgot her wallet in the car) and I made eye contact with the other cashier. He did not look happy to be there. He walked away as for the other employees whom I made eye contact with. I had to wait for the one who is with the other cashier to take my order. Mind you, there was another person behind me waiting. Only then when the line behind me kept getting longer, (3+ people) did the one who's taking the customer (I would assume is the manager or something) asked out loud for someone to take the next guest. Anyway, I liked that there was 2 options of pies to choose from (never heard of the Ube pie- will try next time). And I like that there is options here that the Woodside location doesn't have. I will update my review when I come back here again!

I was so excited that a new Jollibee opened near us. I love their mango peach and ube pie. I miss their halo halo though. Inside there is some seating. When we went that day it wasn't crowded. I got the chicken joy with palabok and guava drink. The chicken as usual was hot and juicy. I don't know about its authenticity but I like the palabok and always get it when I'm there. The guava drink was very sweet but had a strong guava flavor. My daughter got the lychee drink which tasted better i thought. As usual, the meal was finished off with a deep fried mango peach pie. Yum!

Amazing! Happy with this location and so happy that it's finally open! This branch is clean, vibrant and welcoming. Their fried chicken (both the original and spicy) blows all other fast food places out the water. A huge shout out to their peach mango pie - delicious! Service is kind, patient and friendly. Although, I haven't tried their burgers - I do recommend stopping by and trying some of their other food items. You can't go wrong.

Just stepping inside as you're automatically greeted by Jollibee and a cardboard cutout of a girl group I just heard of today.

It's been some time since I've been to a Jollibee. I've been on my review quest of several restaurants so it doesn't leave me much room to revisit any of them, whether I've enjoyed my time there or not and I've been waiting for this location to open up for some time and the moment I realized it filly opened, I wasted no time to show up. The location itself is nice and spacious with the Jollibee mascot kinda front and center, then again ol' Jollibee is usually the most visible being in any given location which is something you don't see nowadays from any other fast food joint, a mascot with presence, panache, aura. Jollibee got that in spades and then some but enough mascot glazing, lol. Place is spacious, clean and service is pretty orderly. It's a fast food joint, I don't expect premier service but it should at least not suck and I've never had a bad experience with the 5 Jollibees I've gone to so props to the staff. On to the food. Jollibee had a promotion going on with a female band called Katseye which Korean BBQ Chicken was the focal point of the promotion so I went with a 2 piece of that, along with my favorite side from there Adobo Rice and an Angus Cheeseburger. The Chickenjoy smothered in Korean BBQ sauce (YOU HEAR THAT POPEYES? SMOTHERED! NONE OF THAT LIGHT GLAZE NONSENSE WITH YOUR SAUCED CHICKEN WINGS!), sorry about that, lol I digress, that sauce, was delicious but damn it was mighty overwhelming. The heat from the KBBQ Chickenjoy beat me down, but I managed to finish it. If you're a fan of the bomb fire heat, you're gonna love it. Adobe Rice always hits though I admit, I'm so used to putting the trademark gravy on it so it was missing a little something to make it perfect. The Cheeseburger was pretty nice and is an affordable premium burger though to be honest, I prefer the Aloha Burger (aka Big Kahuna Burger) more. I'll be venturing near Queens Center mall for Christmas shopping so I might come back here soon.

On our way into the city, we needed to get some dinner before a show. We found a Jollibee right off the LIE so we decided to try it. Of course, there is no parking so we were dropped off to pick up the order. It is a well lit space with plenty of seating. We waited a few minutes for our order. This location doesn't offer chicken tenders so went with a bucket of Chickenjoy, mash potatoes, biscuits and peach mango pie. Oh my, the chicken pieces were big, juicy and delicious! The mashed potatoes had pieces of potato in it. Biscuits were very good and the pie was yum! Now I can see why they have such huge following!

I was here on Saturday for dinner after shopping at the mall. I had the 2pc Chickenjoy Meal Deal. I chose the mashed potatoes & biscuits as my sides with the Ube Pie. Everything was great! The staff were really friendly and the ambiance was family oriented.

What a neighborhood GEM!! Kuku Korean was fantastic! Fresh, tasty food at reasonable prices!…read more We (6 of us) were in the neighborhood for a Valentine's Day celebration and searched Yelp for a good ethnic restaurant in the area. We came across Kuku Korean and said YESSS, this is the place to go! The only wrench in our plans was that Kuku Korean doesn't take reservations; not even on Valentine's Day! They warned us that they expected to be very busy that evening, and to expect a wait. Ok, we made plans to go, but also made a Resy with another restaurant close by, as a backup plan in case there was a long wait for a table. But really, Kuku Korean was our preferred first choice. After our V Day event, we rushed over to Kuku Korean to see what the wait time was for a table for 6. It was just after 6pm, and the stars were aligned for us, because we got the last large table available! Woo Hoooo! Happy Valentine's Day to us!! We quickly cancelled our Resy with the other restaurant (sorry!) and perused Kuku Korean's fabulous menu. Our MENU (shared by 6ppl): ~ Seafood Pajeon ($24/large): Crispy battered pancake made with green onions & seafood (mussels, clams, squid, and shrimp). This was phenomenal! Another phenomenal dish. Bursting with flavor. -- Spicy Squid ($28): Stir-fried squid in spicy Kuku gochujang sauce, onions, hot pepper and carrot. Served with kimachi, daily banchan & purple rice. This squid was prepared perfectly; not over cooked nor rubbery! Great dish. - Ban Chan: generous unlimited servings; fresh & delicious. These 6 dishes, plus Ban Chan was perfect for 6 ppl to share. We walked into a bright, clean, and energetic space with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. The dining room has a casual, functional energy, the kind of place where the focus stays on getting a satisfying meal rather than lingering, and the open kitchen adds a layer of transparency to the process. We went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing we have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during our visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.

The ambiance of canes is great especially when it's not too busy. I went on a weekday night and the…read moreservice was quick, there was a lot of seating, and it was still a lively atmosphere. The decor is so cute and I love how each canes location has decor relating to the local area. The first box combo comes with 4 tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink. You can swap out the Cole slaw with more Texas toast or fries. I love how filling it is and when we got the fries, it was so crispy and fresh. The chicken was a good texture, but I you definitely need to eat it with the canes sauce to get flavor from it.
