Great service and quality food. The bulgogi bowl is tasteful along with the mad tenders and their BBQ sauce - They aren't cheap with the bulgogi btw. We also ordered the watermelon juice and that was very refreshing. I'm glad this is in the neighborhood! Mad for chicken is very spacious and provides a comfortable atmosphere and we love that of course. This is my second time visiting and will be back for Wednesday's deal on wings

Went back there last night Friday night. We wanted to catch the Happy hour deals but it's only available from 3 to 6pm. They have an awesome happy hour deals for like $5 beers and my favorite lychee soju. As well as tgeir happy hour appetizers. We ordered our usual half classic and half soy garlic wings, avocado salad, lychee tini and the mango cart beer which is amazing! Ambience is cool, casual and just perfect to hang out with friends or family! My go to spot! Still!

My fiancé and I came on a Saturday night - it's a big space but the tables were mostly empty. We were excited to try the AYCE Korean fried chicken and seafood boil deal here, but the quality and flavor of both were sorely lacking, so the deal wasn't worth it imo. The servers were also not that attentive either.

Came to catch the Knicks playoff game--wasn't on, but staff kindly changed the channel for us. Only con: just one server, and he didn't know about Restaurant Week, so we missed out. Ended up doing the All-You-Can-Eat Boil, which was delicious and super filling. Worth it overall!

I have been to plenty of restaurants in my lifetime but this is the first time I have ever had this type of experience. I was on a date night and have been looking forward to coming here for a while and boy was this place a complete disappointment. This review is about the lack of communication with the waiter, and kitchen. It really ruined my dinner because I did not get my dinner. Mad for Chicken is a very large space with a full bar. They were busy but not that busy at all on a Friday night. We were seated right away and everyone was polite and friendly. I ordered their chicken drumsticks with chicken thighs. The waiter said chicken with wings. I corrected him and showed him on the menu what I wanted and he repeated my order and said ok. I also ordered truffle French fries. My other half ordered their Spicy chicken sandwich that came with fries plus a Kirin Ichiban. 10 minutes later the spicy chicken sandwich came out and it was hot and looked delicious but it was not my dinner. I of course told my other half to eat and enjoy his food while it was hot. I waited for an additional 5 minutes for my dinner. When my dinner finally came out it was not what I ordered it was chicken drumsticks with wings so I returned it. At this point, I still have not received my truffle fries. I think if they would had brought my truffle fries, waiting for my correct order would not have been so bad because we would be eating together. Now about 20 minutes later. I do not think that the waiter communicated with the kitchen about my wrong order. There was no immediacy to bring out my correct order. The kitchen was sending food out to other tables while I was waiting for my correct order, plus truffle fries. My better half finished eating his dinner and I was still waiting for mine. The waiter said nothing to me about my order. What would you do? I was so annoyed I just wanted the check because we came out to eat together. I ended up watching him eat then he was going to watch me eat whenever they decided to bring out my order. What a waste of time. Even when we were leaving the women in the front asked us what was wrong, and we told her. Her response was next time it will be better. Ok, there will not be a next time for me thank you.

Service was everything it should be! The hosts move quick and are eager to help. Ambiance had an old school saloon vibe. Chicken sandwich was regular but the truffle fries are a yes, I'd go back for those.

Amazing deal at the Sunnyside Mad for Chicken, especially weekday lunches which is only $30 for AYCE chicken, korean small plates, and seafood boil! The price is $45pp at dinner and weekends. The service was also amazing, as they brought out the included soft drinks and teas very quickly. Seasoning for the chicken and for the seafood boils were on point, with a good level of spice to tantalize your taste buds to go for more. The crabs and crawfish were the favorite ingredients for us!

2nd time visiting this location ; this time we visited for the AYCE (all you can eat) new menu - we went during lunch hours & the menu depicted $45.99 per person. Please keep in mind that NOT all MAD locations have the AYCE option, you'll need to call & ask - currently the Flushing & Sunnyside confirmed they have the option This restaurant is very spacious with cute light up pictures on the wall & an upbeat playlist of music which adds to the ambiance. The service was fast, & efficient For the AYCE- they charge $15 for uneaten food, order only what you're able to finish in the 90 minute table limit. you have the option to select appetizers, juice/soda & the seafood boil entrees. We ordered the MFC spicy garlic drumsticks, kickin bourbon wings , mango habanero wings, kimchi fries, dumplings & 2 orders of the kimchi veggie dumplings then for the boil we had the snow crab legs, shrimp head off, crawfish, green mussels, corn & potatoes. You can also select black mussels, clams, lobster tail for an additional $15 select ur sauce & spice level -- the food came out hot, fresh & flavoful 10/10 recommend going with a group & go hungry! Along with this menu the beer, wine & signature drinks are $5, make sure you clarify with the server which drinks are $5 or you will be charged full price

I went to this place for the first time not my choice. First the staff is super slow with only a handful of people there. There are flies flying over you. I placed and order and it took forever to come out and then it was incomplete. I asked for a knife and got a butter knife. No salt or pepper was ever bought to the table. The food left so much to be desired. If you are in the area skip it.

Looks nice. Friendly staff. Not crowded. All that being said, I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich meal which comes with a canned soda & fries. I also got a side order of truffle fries bringing the total to $30.57. Do with that information, what you will

I came here first with Hubby for lunch and had the avocado salad with grilled chicken. That was the best dish for me. That big salad, a huge sliced avocado, and great grilled chicken seasoning were an excellent combination for a big bowl of salad. We also ordered the nachos. We didn't know nachos would be that big. Hubby also ordered the three pieces of Mad for Chicken to try. That dish was served with fries. The nachos were great, too, but we could do without them. The fried chicken was all right; I had very little because I don't eat fried food, but wanted to try the seasoning. Good taste. We had Jose to wait at our table. He did everything well with the order and paid attention to the table. I returned here with my best friend. She saw my salad's photo, so we both ordered two bowls of the same salad, but mine with grilled chicken, and she had hers with fried chicken. We also ordered the kimchi dumplings. These were fried, but the spicy one tasted so good that I couldn't resist. I made an exemption to have the fried dumplings. They got me! Angela served our table, and she was so energetic and happy! I mean she's very happy! Naturally happy! Other than food, we had some refreshing drinks. I had watermelon and lychee, and she had something I can't remember, cucumber, maybe because of the green color. Btw, it's worth mentioning the starter which was seasoning popcorn. This is a no-nonsense popcorn. That seasoning is to die for! It was written on the board that the grill starts at 5 pm. I tried the place during lunch and late lunch. One day, I will try the grill. This is a big place for a lot of parties. However, sitting with proper chairs is limited. You can have a table with long chairs but not comfortable if you take your time to eat. I prefer a proper table and chairs. Worth a visit. Try it!

I ordered crispy chicken bowl , I have never been to this place but I was curious so I ordered to take home. The service was good. The ambiance looks great would like to go back dine in. Great place to come too. The chicken good,

Slightly disappointed. I placed an order for the special "buy 5 drumsticks, get a second order free". When I got to MFC, there was only 1 order of 5. I spoke to two workers, both seemed to be cooks, which I don't blame for the mix-up. I asked for a manager; there was none, not even an assistant manager. I've ordered this special before with no hiccups; not sure what happened this time, and I guess I'll never know. So just be cautious when trying specials.

I went here a while back to order lunch for takeout, and it was pretty good. After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.

My first ever order of Boong's wings, since wings are hands-on, was a bit messy, but oh sooo good, and worth it. LOL. so, I could eat those in the shop, and not feel like my hands are a total mess. SERVICE is friendly and helpful. ASK if you have questions. :) I've had the chicken wings, and the boneless fried chicken. I like the sauce choices, and the complimentary small container of kimchi . You need to ask for it if you want it. And, right there!! Boom!! That's a BENEFIT OF READING YELP REVIEWS. Right?!! :) That part of my take-out container that is open, is open for a reason--to keep the crunchiness of the chicken. If closed, the heat from the food would make it less crunchy. As if steaming it. So, the restaurant gives you your takeout container with one part open. Make sure it stays open. I did take it out of the wrapper for the picture, but suggest you keep the wrapper on as it gets messy to eat. The spices and flavor is delicious and the chicken is crispy and tender. It's a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich overall. While the claw is insta-worthy, it's not quite worth the extra $4 (plus you can't really even eat it, so it's all for show).
