Really fun experience! I came with 5 of my friends so our group was very small, we did the tavern tour. Our tour guide was outside the correct location and he was very easy to find! We started at dicks resort, got a drink, and headed to the back. Where he told us a lot of history about the building and spirts that roam around there. After that we walked around the area where we stopped at several locations and he talked about the history as well. We only stopped outside of them but I learned a lot on this tour it was a really fun experience learning what happened in Nashville hundreds of years ago. Our tour guide was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and was extremely friendly and easy to get along with. After we ended back up at bb Kings and got a drink and we were taken into the basement. This part was really fun, there was so much history down there as the original foundation is all still there. We were able to walk around and take tons of pictures. The downsides on this tour was on the website it's stated that they have drink specials and trivia. They didn't offer both of those. No discounts on drinks at all. Another downside was I thought we were going to go inside a lot more bars, we were only brought inside two of them. The rest of the tour was all outside telling stories about buildings that we could look at. There was one story about an abandoned bar that really interested me, apparently there was a hostage situation inside and people died. I googled it and unfortunately couldn't find anything about it. I really hope the stories were all true. Overall, this was a really fun experience. If you love history this will be a fun time for sure. I did experience something in the basement but don't be upset if you don't, it's not guaranteed.

Jane Doe (pretty sure part of the tour - super cool mural with a story involved)!

I love to do these everywhere largely because they always offer some really cool facts about the history of wherever you're visiting. I feel like people have some unreasonable expectations for the ghostiness bit. Mostly we laugh about some of the lore and get to walk around getting some exercise doing and activity as a family that doesn't involve the bars. I messaged day of about if we could bring our pups along and they replied instantly with yes as long as they were well behaved which was so awesome. We brought them along and they got some extra exercise too. Our guides name was Zoe I think and she was engaging and knowledgeable. Mostly it was just a great time even with it being so hot.

The tour just ok. Not sure I really believed anything that was said. The tour guide was cool and tried to deliver the tour, but I just didn't buy it. History of Nashville tour would have been a better name. Not scary at all, nor was anything seen or told remotely scary either. Again, a cool walking historic tour, just not anything ghostly or scary.

Ton of fun and a great way to learn about the history of the area + spooky fun. Best of the ghost tours I've taken in Nashville no doubt.

We did the haunted tavern tour and had Juan as our tour guide. He was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the stories he told and made the experience so fun. Getting to stop in and grab a few drinks was fun as well. Just having a guide on broadway was priceless it's crazy busy on a Saturday evening. I would recommend it. Just be sure to search parking prior to your evening out. Parking is a little difficult on the weekends.

Haunting and exciting thing to do in Nashville! Our tour guide Ethan was exceptional, you can hear the love for this city he has and it's mysteries in each story he tells. As he lead us through town by lantern light, we were absolutely encapsulated by the spooky night. This is a fun way to visit some famous places and get pictures of ghosts!

We've never done a tour like this before but this was not what we were expecting. We thought we would be able to go into some of the locations but it was just story telling which would be fine if that was in the description, but we paid $70 and it was hard to hear what our guide was saying and the tour was supposed to be an hour long but it ended after 39 minutes. And we booked through Vacationsmadeeasy.com and they also tried to sell us a time share when we picked up our tickets. We did learn some history of the city but were a little dissatisfied.

It also doesn't hurt to have seen the Ken Burns Country Music production to add a bit of history and context to this place and Ryman. Auditorium. It's a decent Taxi/Uber ride out here (and back), with drop off and finding one to go back pretty easy. There are snacks and a gift shop here, but if you want to make it a dinner and a show, there are places nearby. Gayle and I, along with Erin and Jim attended the April 30 performance of Opry Country Classics. The Larry Gatlin (and Brothers) were the MCs, with the Opry band handling the backup music, and Charlie Mattos doing the folksy "Play by Play", all live on WSM (We Shield Millions) Radio. Performers were Janie Fricke, Hanna Dasher, Moe Bandy, and Daily and Vincent as the featured artist. It was a great show! We had a nice 4 seat pew near the front, the sight lines (direct and via screens) were clear, and the sound quality/mix was excellent. Daily and Vincent (with the guest banjo player) were fantastic and I've already preordered their next album. The only minor irritation was Hanna Dasher shamelessly promoting her cook book (Stand by Your Pan), but even that added to the high quality entertainment value of this show. I'd love to experience this again.

Can accommodate lots of country music fans (and tourists); and at least the truly grand old Ryman continues to host many wonderful shows. Warning for those staying at the Gaylord and walking over to the Opry for a show. You'll already have walked A LOT inside the Gaylord, and it's a good ways from there on the path to the Opry. We had one of the rooms closest to the Opry side Gaylord exit and it was still a solid mile walk each way. If that's a bit far for you, and you're thinking you'll just take a break mid walk, there is no resting point, not a single bench, between the hotel and opry. We'll certainly see how convenient ride share is for our next Opry concert. The benches (not seats) at least are cushioned, so they emulate the church pews of the Ryman, with a touch more comfort. Signs show the venue getting a little worn. For example, there was no running water in any of the sinks in the men's room. We'll be back. How can you not.

She even provided the back stories of the historical churches & buildings we passed on our way to each location. She was sweet, hilarious, spunky and after telling her ALL 12 of our names just once - she remembered them all, the entire 3 hours we were together! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I'm so grateful we signed up - I honestly don't think we would have received the same experience of Nashville if we had just gone to these places on our own. We stopped off at 5 different eateries, all were pre-picked for us so we had no idea where we would be going. Unfortunately, not all of them struck me as worthy of a second visit but it was new to us (except for Prince's, we had stumbled upon them the day before, whoops) and I will say I'm not the biggest sweets fan but the Goo Goo cluster was the perfect way to end the tour!
