For follow-up bang trim, it's $15, so might as well go for the full cut. NOTE: - Bring pictures of what hairstyle you want and address any concerns you have up front. Ask for her honest opinion. - Don't expect a high-end spa experience of hair washing, conditioning, scalp massages, post-cut blow out, free product, etc. - Come with clean and dried hair so she can see your natural hair texture and shape and know what she's working with - You may feel she's super chatty, nosy, or naggy, but it's because she totally cares about her clients and their wellbeing. I saw a sticker showing she accepts credit card, but for $25 haircut, I don't want to undercut her profits any further, so I paid cash + tip. Gone are the days of me driving all the way out to the suburbs or paying $100+ in the city.

The front desk folks are always nice when checking you in. Margot is prompt and the space is clean and has a relaxing vibe. I love the robe (wondering where I can buy it haha) and once you've undressed and put the robe on then Margot does an assessment of your skin. I appreciate that she's not judgmental of bad habits. She lets you know what you should be doing to care for your skin, but she's never said negative things about my preferred products. She says the goal is that I feel good because all skin is different. The products she used all felt great on my face, I love the arm massages, and the price is spot on for the service. I never feel like I have to buy anything, but I have now left with exfoliant and a masque and they weren't too expensive. I also couldn't resist the cherry almond aveda hair products. When I said I was concerned he told me he didn't cut that much off and it was all unhealthy. He also mocked me and said "someone wasn't ready for a a haircut". I'm beyond upset knowing it will take two years to get my hair back to the length it was. I have multiple special events coming up and will likely have to look into expensive temporary extensions. I was nervous trying a new person but when they only take a little off you can recover. I will never go here again ( by the way... appointments were open galore which should've told me all I needed to know).
