I calked and I made an appointment since I was having pain. Unfortunately they couldn't fit me in for work when I needed, but I was referred out. I was pleased with the referral. The other dentist was great. I just wished it would have been more affordable. My regular checkup and cleaning were great. I was supposed to get ca call regarding some coverage, but I think the staff got very distracted with a lady they had that required more time with payment. I live that they offer me a cover when I sit because I'm always cold.

Their demeanor came across as dismissive and at times hostile, which made it difficult to feel heard or respected as a patient. Overall, the environment felt unwelcoming and stressful. We arrived on time, but still waited over 30 minutes because the patient before us was running late. When it was finally our turn, we found out that the dentist wasn't even in the office. This was our second visit--we came back because the dentist was wonderful during our first appointment. However, nobody bothered to let us know in advance that the dentist wouldn't be there. Instead, an assistant saw my son. All he did was wipe my son's teeth with gauze. My 2-year-old was scared and started resisting, which is completely normal for a toddler. The assistant simply said, "It's just gauze," as if that would magically make a frightened toddler cooperate. After wiping his teeth, he said, "That's it for today." Excuse me? We waited over 30 minutes just for someone to wipe my son's teeth and send us home? I told them that they should have informed us the dentist wasn't there. The assistant then asked the receptionist to come over. The receptionist's response was, "Kids don't cooperate every time." I said, "I understand that. But the doctor examined him just fine during our last visit. I don't think the assistant knows how to examine a toddler." Only then did they decide to "try again." The assistant took a few photos and that was the end of the visit. I even scheduled another appointment before leaving, but the more I thought about the experience, the more upset I became. I ended up switching my son to a pediatric dentist. When I first called this office, I specifically asked if they could see babies. I was told they were a general dental office but were able to treat young children. If your office isn't experienced in examining toddlers, that's completely fine--but please be honest so parents can find a provider who is. At the very least, have the courtesy to notify patients ahead of time if the dentist won't be there. To make matters worse, after I found a new pediatric dentist, I called to cancel my son's next appointment. The receptionist simply said, "OK," and hung up on me without another word. This office wasted our time, failed to communicate, and handled the entire situation unprofessionally. I would not recommend bringing young children here.

Mind you I haven't had cavities/fillings in decades and my oral hygiene routines have been the same. When I asked to show me these cavities, they said it could only be seen by their eyes and it didn't show up in the pictures. Elaine looks kind in the photos which is why I choose to go to this place, but in person, she has an extremely stressed out aura and takes it out in patients. Her staff also seem stressed out! i also saw one patient asking one dentist questions, and the dental assistant was answering instead of the dentist! What! The dentist doesn't know her stuff?? Elaine also said I needed a crown because my tooth was infected and tried to get me to book that which I knew this particular tooth she referred to was actually fine from other dentists who've seen that tooth. Scare tactics! Money grubbing! Figure out when their lunch time is and don't have your appointment right when their lunch ends.
