Today was my fourth visit with Dr. Saleh Kholaki, and I truly believe this man was sent from heaven! Dr. Kholaki is such a gentle, patient, kind, and inspiring man who is truly passionate about his craft. I've never necessarily been afraid of the dentist, but I HAVE had my share of horrible dental experiences. Since the first time I stepped foot into his office, I've felt like family. What I appreciate most is that he genuinely cares about his patients. He doesn't try to get over on you or recommend things just to make money. He's basically an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" kind of dentist , and that means a lot when you're trusting someone with your teeth AND your wallet! Today I started the process of getting a root canal. I've had a root canal done somewhere else before, and let me just say... after my experience with Dr. Kholaki today, I can see why I eventually ended up needing an implant after whatever that other place did! The experience was completely different. My insurance didn't cover the cost, and for once, I didn't feel bad AT ALL handing over my credit card. That's how much I trust him and the quality of his work. His entire office is also very personable and welcoming, starting with his beautiful and professional staff member, Melissa. She is amazing with appointment reminders, returning calls, answering questions, and everything in between. I just pray that whenever Dr. Kholaki decides to retire, he leaves us with a whole list of dentists who have the same skills, patience, honesty, and compassion that he does because I don't know what I'm going to do! If you're looking for a dentist who is not only skilled but also incredibly kind and patient, this is the place. I get very nervous at the dentist, but he has a calming presence and always makes sure I'm comfortable before starting. He even does the cleanings himself - he's quick, gentle, and efficient, which makes the whole experience so much easier. His office also works with my insurance, which takes away so much of the stress when it comes to billing. On top of that, the location is fantastic - it's right in my neighborhood, so I can easily walk there. That convenience plus his great care is such a win. To preface my review, you should know that I have an extreme fear of the dentist or medical facility or doctor of any one in scrubs or a lab coat. I am usually unable to get treatment without sedation of some kind or literally my father there (yes I am an adult but only way I work). However, Dr. K put me at ease immediately. This office is calm and quiet and the receptionist/assistant is very kind. That alone is so much better than the last dental office I went to. Dr. Kholaki is very gentle. He was so calming. He let me know exactly what he was doing and was so gentle, I didn't need any shots. He also worked rather quickly. I was so pleasantly surprised and indeed do not believe I will need medication to go back. I needed a crown done and dr. K not only hooked me up but literally made it painless!!! And fast!! I was here to remove my wisdom teeth. The doctor was very gentle with local anesthesia. I didn't even feel it when he injected them. Pulling the teeth out was painless as well. I previously had teeth removed during my teen in order to get braces and it was a horrible experience because I felt the injection of local anesthesia. I highly recommend this dental office . After my 1st visit, I knew I made to right decision and the drive is totally worth it. He is friendly and relaxed yet super professional. Been coming to Dr.Kholaki since 2015. I've gotten my wisdom tooth removed, a crown on a broken tooth and replaced some of those annoying silver fillings with white fillings. They let me know what's covered by my insurance and what's not. I've always been scared of dentist but luckily Dr.Kholaki is very careful and gentle and makes sure you're not in any pain. He let me know exactly what he was doing and was so gentle, I didn't need any shots. He also worked rather quickly. I was so pleasantly surprised and indeed do not believe I will need medication to go back. On top of the wonderful service and atmosphere, the Dr. and I talked about all the work the last dentist said I needed (old office quoted thousands of dollars) it turns out, most of that work wasn't even needed. The teeth that did need some work turned out to only cost $250. I mean, they saved me literal thousands of dollars. Don't hesitate to book an appointment at this office. I'm so blessed to have found Dr. K. I was so nervous because my previous dentist was great but retired. I looked at Dr. K.'s review and a few others as well. He stood out from a review I read, regarding anxiety and how he put the patient at ease. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing, constantly checking on me asking if I was okay. This dentist is a gem! We love him. First off, we found him by chance. Originally we were seeing another dentist until my daughter and I both got fillings and both fell out within a week. I was horrified and knew we needed someone new. We found Dr.Kholaki and him and his receptionist, Stephanie, were both so sweet. Got us in right away and helped us out. I decided to make him our primary dentist, but just to be sure, we visited one more to make sure we definitely wanted this one. I couldn't even believe the night and day of the two and we decided it had to be Dr.Kholaki. His overall professionalism and hospitality was unmatched. We've been seeing him for two years now and he has only ever been very sweet and informative on anything that needed to be done as well as how we could move forward in the future to maintain optimal dental health. Since we have started seeing him, our whole family has now joined. Her dad, grandparents, as well as aunts and uncles and we're all very happy with his care. Also, I'd like to add that we have had difficulty in the past with other dentists finding it hard to locate our insurance as the corporate office for the modest company I work for is out of state so my insurance appears to be as well. This receptionist, I don't know what she did, but she recognized the issue and found it without me needing to intervene or make any additional calls and it was SO appreciated. The only issue we ever had was not realizing that our family has some sort of need for additional pain relief as the normal amount doesn't seem to cut it. Something about our genes. Dr.Kholaki understood completely and remedied that so that our daughter and our family feel comfortable whereas the few dentists prior ignored us completely. My daughter's dad was under the impression that "it is what it is" and experienced excruciating pain while getting his wisdom teeth removed. I wish we had found Dr.Kholaki sooner. Well my beloved dentist retired about a year ago - super bummed as he was a gem. I searched my providers and came upon Dr. Kholaki after I snapped a molar. I get to the office and he is there with his dental assistant and says "Where have you been?" His assistant said well this is her first time here. He said exactly that is why I was wondering where she had been!!! Down to business, he takes a look at the tooth and said - well we could do a crown by lets try a filling, I think that will work out fine. If not we can make a determination then. Saleh is the best dentist. He really cares about his patients. This is what it feels like to have a great doctor. I had a partial crown done incorrectly by a different dental office, it fell out and I did not want to go back to that office. I had someone recommend Saleh to me and he fixed it perfectly in no time. He followed up with me personally to see if I was feeling ok. The dentist office I was going to before was hit and miss with inexperienced dentists who overcharged. Saleh is very experienced and he sees all his patients. He doesn't rely on a bunch of x-rays, inferior dentists or technology just good old fashioned expertise and experience which is a MUST. He doesn't over charge and is very kind. Haven't been to a dentist in a very long time but had a tooth break in the evening and needed to find one quick. Saw many great reviews for Dr. Kholaki so decided to give him a call. It was after hours so I left a message. Dr. Kholaki called me personally 1st thing in the morning to see how he could help me. Made an appointment for my 1st available day. Nice clean office. Front reception were friendly and had me fill out a new patient sheet and then I was seen promptly by the Dr. After an exam and some x-rays, a crown was suggested. He took a mold and put in a temporary crown. No pain and a very comfortable experience. Going back for the permanent crown next week. I'm self employed and do not carry dental insurance. Note: this review isn't for dr kholaki but, for the receptionist. I made an appointment for my dad at 1pm we arrived pretty early 12:20pm. I was driving from orange and didn't want to catch traffic and, be late. Now i get that this was early but, i didn't think it would be such a big deal seeing as i wasn't expecting them to take my dad in earlier. Fast forward, we get the the office and we aren't even greeted with a hello. Alicia is sitting in the waiting area and says, oh you're early, I'm on lunch and i take it here in the waiting area. To which i replied ummm ok no problem we can leave. She rolls her eyes and repeats what she just finished saying. So i then repeat myself and my dad and i both turn to walk out feeling so uncomfortable by that interaction. She then proceeds to say it's ok just wait here. I have never been made this uncomfortable for coming in earlier. She lacks people skills and needs an attitude adjustment. She could've been nicer about things instead of being awkward and, we would've had np waiting in the parking lot. If i didn't drive an 1 hour i would've left, but i stuck it through for my dad. 2 stars because the dr was very kind, if it wasn't for her we would've probably returned. read more

We had a quote from another dentist with major dental work recommended. Everything was out of pocket due to bad dental insurance. We went to this office for a free consult. I appreciate the dentist took the time to go over the other quote and offer alternativr procedures and even delay a treatment. Saw Dr. Kholoki today and it was an amazing experience; I got 3 fillings and he offered novacaine to numb the pain, but he was so good the shot wasn't necessary!
