Since I'm military, I've lived a ton of places and have gone through the song & dance of 100 different dealerships... I'll tell you... I'll never buy a car from anywhere else. The process at FOX TOYOTA is streamlined, everything is put on paper up front. No "magic pen" that puts down mystery dollar amounts and fees. No "computer errors" in finance that load more fees...Walt is 100% forthcoming with everything and has no issues breaking down anything from vehicle specs to financial terms. The WORST feeling is to drive away from a dealer in a vehicle you aren't completely satisfied with with a sinking feeling about the finances behind it... I've been there, BUT , never at FOX TOYOTA. Everything about them is fantastic and I'm a customer for life. !! Thank You Walt & Fox crew This is the 3rd Car I purchased from this location with Walt... first off the dealership itself is immaculate (bathrooms too). I didn't feel pressured making any decisions. All the employees I spoke with were friendly and helpful. The engine light came on in my car 3 days after leaving the lot and when I called, they took it in same day free of charge and provided me with a loaner car until they can solve the issue.

First I would like to say that giving bad reviews has always been hard for me. I'm the type of…read moreperson that hates to say negative things. However, I would be doing the world a disservice if I didn't warn others about this dealership. In September of 2017, my husband and I purchased a Chrysler 200 through this lot. We financed this car through the lot's partner, a company called Credit Acceptance Corporation. After doing some "paperwork with Credit Acceptance", we were informed by the dealership's owner that my husband would need to pay $3,000 down if he were to buy the vehicle alone. Or, with me as a co-signer, we would need $2,500 as a down payment in order to finance this car. We agreed, paid our money, and the dealer rushed us through the paperwork. (That should have been a red flag.) In August of 2018, we decided to trade this car in for something new. It was then we discovered a number of things. 1) That I was not actually the co-signer for my husband, but rather I was listed as the primary buyer--something we were not aware of. 2) My husband was actually approved by Credit Acceptance to finance the car with $0 down. Our dealer had actually pocketed our $2,500. 3) Our dealer had given our vehicle a 20,000 mile warranty and did not tell us. Bumpy the time we found out we had a warranty on this car, we had already exceeded the mileage. 4) While financing this car, we almost always mad me our payments on time. However, during financially tight months, we sometimes were a day or two late. If we were ever even a day late, we would receive 5+ harassing phone calls each day, starting at 8:00am. Buyers please beware.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! I…read morerarely leave negative reviews, but I believe consumers deserve to know about my experience. In May 2025, my wife and I purchased a 2025 Ram 1500 from Gary Yeomans Ford Knoxville. Before the purchase, we repeatedly advised the dealership that we already had financing through our own bank and did not authorize the dealership to run our credit. Despite that, hard credit inquiries later appeared on BOTH my credit report and my wife's credit report. The dealership later acknowledged that the credit inquiries were made without our authorization and described the incident as a "mistake". The matter is now the subject of pending federal litigation. I have since learned of at least 3 other individuals claiming similar issues with Gary Yeomans Ford Knoxville. Unfortunately our problems did not even end there. The truck was sold with a non-OEM Ford battery installed in what was essentially a brand-new Ram truck with only about 5,000 miles. When the battery failed, a Ram dealership refused warranty coverage because the correct OEM battery had been replaced with an aftermarket Ford battery. I was forced to pay out of pocket for a new battery and incur rental vehicle expenses. Despite being made aware of the situation, Gary Yeomans Ford Knoxville has still not made this issue right either. I encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle to carefully review every document, verify what has been submitted in your name, and check your credit reports after your purchase. If you purchased a vehicle from Gary Yeomans Ford Knoxville (or Lance Cunningham Ford Knoxville before the name change) and experienced something similar--such as: a hard credit inquiry without your authorization, your credit being accessed after you brought your own financing, financing submitted when you did not request it, or other issues involving your transaction, I would appreciate hearing from you. You can contact me privately. I'm not asking anyone to share personal information publicly, I'm simply trying to determine whether others have had similar experiences. 423-426-0430
