I had several locks replaced in my Home in 09/2022. This week, the bedroom door stopped closing. When I gave it a closer look, i realized the lock was not aligned to the plate on the door frame and was not set-up properly. The more frustrating part is that the installer new this when he finished because the bottom of the plate was shaved down to force the lock into the door and get it to close, temporarily. Obviously, this didn't hold up and stopped working which is what prompted me to look more closely. I emailed them with a photo showing what was done. I got a response that they only guarantee work for 90 days and to pay a fee for repair. They installed a lock that did not lock and broke my sliding door by beating the frame with a hammer. I paid for a new lock; they did not install the correct hardware that came with the new lock, took the newly paid for hardware and I guess threw it out? The newly installed lock is not possible to lock since it is not able to catch on anything. I'm a Realtor. Needed regular and deadbolt locks on two doors. They were able to come out quickly, but the work on one door was very poor and they refuse to return to do it correctly. The deadbolt was extremely hard to lock, even for the locksmith. There was prior door damage, but the deadbolt that was replaced had no problems locking, so there was no reason for the new one to have an issue. Multiple people have been unable to lock the new deadbolt. The regular lock is also very loose on the door. When I called to ask someone to come back out to fix the issues, the man who answered strongly implied I was lying, refused to send someone to fix it, and hung up on me. I'm perplexed as to why they treated me so poorly and won't stand behind their work, nor does it make sense to do this to a Realtor, who is in a position to refer clients to them. read more
